Saudi Arabia warns off US on Palestinian veto

Middle EastImage via WikipediaLets see do you think our so called fearless President will back down to this threat? Just food for thought. After the Arab up rise and the Middle East. Do you really believe they are all about Peace?

Many choose not to add religion to politics and claim the people are so peaceful. These same people never really studied the other religions from around the World. Their books are about Law. Not a type of worship.. Anyone studying History. Should really study all the History and the brutality that comes with all this mess.

If this article somehow surprises you. You might want to start paying more attention. This is only expected after all the up rises that's been going on the past few months now.
http://www.smh.com.au/world/saudi-arabia-warns-off-us-on-palestinian-veto-20110913-1k7rp.html
A FORMER head of Saudi Arabian intelligence and ex-ambassador to Washington, Turki al-Faisal, has warned that an American veto of Palestinian membership of the United Nations would end the ''special relationship'' between the two countries, and make the US ''toxic'' in the Arab world.
The warning comes as Washington is scrambling to avoid a scenario where it alone casts a veto in the UN Security Council against the Palestinian bid for recognition of statehood, which is expected to be formally requested next week.
The US is putting considerable pressure on the Palestinians not to submit the request, and on Britain - the only other permanent member of the Security Council that has not publicly supported the Palestinian request - to also exercise its veto if necessary.

Myanmar nukes? Defector's tale stokes suspicions

North Korea and weapons of mass destructionImage via Wikipediahttp://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5hbWihl_TItcqSgTfrxoR5acfPUOg?docId=a3cab99fbb8e4772aaab131280c52150
WASHINGTON (AP) — Among the hundreds of thousands who have fled Myanmar and its tyrannical rulers over the years is a military insider who claims he carried a big secret with him: evidence of a hidden nuclear weapons program.
Defector Sai Thein Win's account of his three years working in two clandestine factories, even with the trove of photos he brought with him, is no smoking gun. It has deepened suspicions, however, that Myanmar's xenophobic military leaders hanker for an atomic deterrent.
His allegations touch on a matter that is bound to resurface as Myanmar, also known as Burma, tries to curry international favor and end sanctions. While human rights and democracy have dominated Western attention to Myanmar, there also have been misgivings about its growing ties with North Korea, a suspected nuclear proliferator that may have exported missile technology to Myanmar.
In late May, a U.S. Navy destroyer intercepted a North Korean ship, suspected to have been carrying a cargo that violated U.N. nonproliferation sanctions, U.S. officials say. A Washington-based foreign diplomat, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter, said the cargo was suspected to have been weapons or missiles headed for Myanmar. The ship turned back to North Korea.
Myanmar has tried to ease international suspicions that it has illicit nuclear programs. Two weeks ago, after a visit by Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., it announced that it was abiding by the U.N. sanctions. The government also said it had halted arrangements for nuclear research with Russia for its educational and health sectors. It said the "international community may misunderstand Myanmar over the issue."

PRUDEN: Turn out the lights, the partys over - Washington Times

United Nations Framework Convention on Climate...Image via WikipediaSeems more and more people caught on to the Global Warming Scam (Now Changed to Climate Change.) Leaving so many deciding to move on to other things this year.
Now, Once they can decide not to teach this junk to the kids of the Nations the better off we might be.
Be sure to click the link for the full story.

Scams die hard, but eventually they die, and when they do, nobody wants to get close to the corpse. You can get all the hotel rooms you want this week in Cancun.
The global-warming caravan has moved on, bound for a destination in oblivion. The United Nations is hanging the usual lamb chop in the window this week in Mexico for the U.N.'s Framework Convention on Climate Change, but the Washington guests are staying home. Nobody wants to get the smell of the corpse on their clothes.
Everybody who imagined himself anybody raced to Copenhagen last year for the global-warming summit, renamed "climate change" when the globe began to cool, as it does from time to time. Some 45,000 delegates, "activists," business representatives and the usual retinue of journalists registered for the party in Copenhagen. This year, only 1,234 journalists registered for the Cancun beach party. The only story there is that there's no story there. The U.N. organizers glumly concede that Cancun won't amount to anything, even by U.N. standards.

More than all the Tea in China | Capitol Commentary

http://capitolcommentary.com/2010/09/07/more-than-all-the-tea-in-china

China, America's banker.
The United States is a debtor nation and China owns about $1.00 for every $10.00 of U.S. debt.  Politicians might be very trendy today calling out U.S. banks for having been so reckless in their spending but, ironically, now China is doing the same thing to our politicians in Washington, D.C.  China has always bought U.S. debt in the form of Treasury securities and now is the largest holder of U.S. debt in the world having recently surpassed Japan.  One of the many differences between Japan being the largest U.S. debt holder and China is that we did not write China’s constitution and do not have military bases in their country.  With the massive spending bill having been signed into law by President Obama ($787 billion and counting) China is getting antsy that America is squandering their resources:
“We have made a huge amount of loans to the United States. Of course we are concerned about the safety of our assets. To be honest, I’m a little bit worried,” [Chinese Premier] Wen said at a news conference following the closing of China’s annual legislative session. “I would like to call on the United States to honor its words, stay a credible nation and ensure the safety of Chinese assets.”
So this is what has become of such a fine nation as the United States!  To be fair to President Obama, reckless spending of taxpayer monies did not begin under his administration but he certainly did not improve the situation by signing into law the largest spending bill in the history of this country, a sum larger than the total costs of the war in Iraq and Afganistan.  As when any bill collector calls there were soothing words in response:

Pastor shot by Spokane Valley police officer

A pastor and owner of a plant nursery was shot and killed by a Spokane Valley police officer late Wednesday night, police said.
The Associated Press
SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. —
A pastor and owner of a plant nursery was shot and killed by a Spokane Valley police officer late Wednesday night, police said.
The man was identified as Wayne Scott Creach, 74, according to the Spokane Police Department, which has taken over the investigation, along with the Spokane County Sheriff's Office and the Washington State Patrol, from the suburban agency.
Creach served at Greenacres Baptist Church for 40 years and also owns a nursery business called the Plant Farm. He lived next door to the nursery, and was shot in the parking lot of the business, police said.
Earlier Wednesday, a neighbor made a request for increased patrols in the area, and a Spokane Valley police officer had parked his unmarked car in the parking lot. Creach approached the officer after dark, police said.
"At some point there was a confrontation between (Creach) and the police officer and the officer fired his duty weapon," said Spokane police spokeswoman Jennifer DeRuwe.
A gun was found near Creach, police said.
Creach's son, Alan Creach, issued a statement.
"At 11 o'clock my dad got out of his bed responding to what he thought was a burglar, challenged that vehicle in his parking lot in front of the Plant Farm, subsequently a deputy shot and killed him," the statement.
Known as Pastor Scott, Creach founded Greenacres Baptist Church in 1971. The church has about 300 members.

CNSNews.com - Alan Keyes: Under Obama ‘We Shall All Become Slaves on the Government’s Plantation’

WASHINGTON, D.C. - JANUARY 20: WASHINGTON, D....Image by Getty Images via @daylife

  • "Alan Keyes: Under Obama ‘We Shall All Become Slaves on the Government’s Plantation’ Thursday, August 05, 2010 By Penny Starr, Senior Staff Writer Former U.S. Ambassador Alan Keyes at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010. (CNSNews.com photo/Penny Starr) Washington (CNSNews.com) – Alan Keyes, a conservative activist and former diplomat, said Wednesday that President Barack Obama and liberals in Congress are promoting a dependence on government that mirrors slavery. Keyes appeared with more than a dozen other black conservative leaders at a gathering in Washington to condemn accusations by the NAACP that the Tea Party movement has a racist faction. Keyes said real racism occurs when race is connected to ideology -- as was the case, he said, when Barack Obama was campaigning for president. “The notion that you owe some allegiance or vote to an individual simply because of the color of their skin" is racist, Keyes said. He said such a notion was "constantly pushed at me by the American media" during the Obama campaign, when black Americans were expected to "feel proud" of Obama. "Why should I feel proud of someone who wants to destroy the unalienable rights of unborn children?” Keyes said Wednesday during the event at the National Press Club. “Why should I be proud of someone who, in fact, wants to return this entire country to the condition in which my ancestors sadly found themselves?” Keyes compared the institution of slavery with liberalism and socialism. “What did it mean to be a slave?” Keyes asked. “It meant that you actually had guaranteed shelter, guaranteed clothing. Your master guaranteed your food, your clothing, your shelter and a job. “Sounds interesting, doesn’t it?” he said. “That’s exactly what the Obama faction and the leftists and the socialists and the so-called ‘liberals’ want to pretend is what all Americans should aspire to.""

Obama to send 1,200 troops to US-Mexico border

clipped from news.yahoo.com

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama will send 1,200 National Guard troops to boost security along the U.S.-Mexico border, officials said Tuesday, pre-empting Republican plans to try to force votes on such a deployment.

Obama will also request $500 million for border protection and law enforcement activities, according to lawmakers and administration officials. The moves come as chances for action on comprehensive immigration reform, Obama's long-stated goal, look increasingly small in this election year. But Obama is under pressure to do something with the issue front and center after Arizona's passage of a tough crackdown law.

In this Thursday, April 22, 2010 photo, the American Flag flies along the international border in Nogales, Ariz. President Barack Obama will send 1,20
They will temporarily supplement border patrol agents until Customs and Border Protection can recruit and train additional officers and agents to serve on the border, an administration official said.
Homeland Security and Pentagon officials have been jousting over the possible National Guard deployment for the better part of a year.

Biden Says Brussels Could Be 'Capital of the Free World'

clipped from www.foxnews.com

It's not unheard of for Vice President Biden to get lost in the moment, but during a speech earlier this month to the European Parliament his flattery of the host may have gone a bit overboard, ceding Washington, D.C.'s role as the world's center of liberty.

He suggested that Washington, D.C., his home, is undeserving of that title -- notwithstanding its wealth of global organizations and the countless international summits that take place there.

"As you probably know, some American politicians and American journalists refer to Washington, D.C. as the 'capital of the free world,'" Biden said. "But it seems to me that in this great city, which boasts 1,000 years of history and which serves as the capital of Belgium, the home of the European Union, and the headquarters for NATO, this city has its own legitimate claim to that title."

"We need each other more now than we have ever," Biden said.

U.S. Government Not Fully Supporting Freedom of Religion, Says Commission

clipped from beforeitsnews.com
WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. foreign policy does not reflect the central importance of religious freedom, according to members of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF).

“You cannot do statecraft without understanding the importance of religion,” said Dr. Don Argue, a Commissioner of USCIRF at an April 29 press conference. He noted the importance that former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright gave to religious freedom late in her tenure.

“Neither prior Democratic and Republican administrations, nor the current administration, have been sufficiently engaged in promoting freedom of religion or belief abroad,” said the 373-page 2010 Annual Report, released at the news conference.

The Obama administration was rebuked for allowing the position of ambassador-at-large on International Religious Freedom to go unfilled for over a year.

Apr. 28, 2010 - Arizona SB 1070: Gov. Brewer on "On The Record"

Grand Canyon, Arizona. The canyon, created by ...Image via Wikipedia

Know the truth. Our own Government does absolutely nothing to secure the borders of Arizona. With the drug trafficking and cartel, Kidnappings, child laboring, and all out crime that comes from these borders. It makes a person wonder exactly what they are up to in Washington D.C. Are they just expecting the individual states to not protect their own? The Murder rates down by the border and the land owners down their struggle to keep what they have let alone their own lives.
It really make me wonder if Washington is actually trying to keep the terrorism going here in America. It has nothing to do with Race. But, it does have everything to do protecting the Citizens of the State of Arizona.
It's about time I see a state take it's own action and do what is constitutionally right.
Know the truth. Media and the President either have absolutely no clue, or they are deceivingly up to something that is no good.
This makes me glad I live in AZ.

Hillary Clinton fears al-Qaeda is obtaining nuclear weapons material

On Jan. 26-27, 2007 at Gallaudet University in...Image via Wikipedia

Terrorists including al-Qaeda pose a serious threat to world security as they attempt to obtain atomic weapons material, Hillary Clinton, the US Secretary of State, declared on the eve of a global summit in Washington to prevent a nuclear terror attack.

President Obama will call on the leaders of 47 nations today — the biggest gathering of heads of state by a US leader since the founding of the UN in 1945 — to introduce tougher safeguards to prevent nuclear material ending up in the hands of terrorists. As far back as 1998, Osama bin Laden stated that it was his Islamic duty to acquire and use weapons of mass destruction.

The unprecedented gathering of 47 nations in Washington to address this issue underscores the perceived severity of the threat posed by nuclear terrorism.

There will also be pressure on countries to follow the example of Chile, which has removed all of its stocks of low-enriched and highly-enriched uranium.

US, Russia Hammer Out New Nuclear Agreement

clipped from www1.voanews.com
US President Barack Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev (file photo)
The United States and Russia say a new strategic arms agreement will be formally announced when the presidents of both countries have spoken with one another about it.  White House and Russian Foreign Ministry spokesmen say the conversation is expected soon.  A new accord would set an auspicious tone for President Barack Obama's nuclear summit in Washington on April 12 and 13.  The agreement faced difficult negotiations, and more problems could emerge during ratification in the U.S. Senate.
Before the United States and Soviet Union signed the 1991 Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START) both sides had tens of thousands of nuclear warheads.  The pact mandated a reduction to about 6,000.
Delivery systems, such as missiles and bombers, will also be limited.
It also raises expectations for further weapons reductions in the years ahead.
And success of that conference, said Mr. Ban, can help the whole world live without fear of nuclear weapons.

Russia and U.S. Report Breakthrough on Arms Pact

One of the first nuclear bombs.Image via Wikipedia

clipped from www.nytimes.com

WASHINGTON — President Obama and his Russian counterpart, President Dmitri A. Medvedev, have broken through a logjam in their arms control negotiations and expect to sign a new treaty in Prague next month that would slash American and Russian nuclear arsenals, officials from both nations said Wednesday.

Mr. Obama and Mr. Medvedev still need to talk once more to finalize the agreement, but officials were optimistic that the deal was nearly done.

The two sides have discussed a signing ceremony in Prague in early April, marking the anniversary of the first meeting between the two presidents and of Mr. Obama’s speech outlining his vision for eventually eliminating nuclear weapons.

The treaty would require each side to reduce deployed strategic nuclear warheads to roughly 1,600, down from 2,200 now, officials have said. It would also oblige each side to reduce its arsenal of strategic bombers and land- and sea-based missiles to 800, half the old limit of 1,600.

Tens of thousands call for immigration reform at Washington rally

clipped from www.latimes.com
Immigration march

Tens of thousands of people began assembling in Washington on Sunday to march for immigration reform, a politically charged issue that has been pushed to a back burner by the intense focus on healthcare.

Wearing colorful shirts and carrying banners and U.S. flags, thousands filled two blocks on the National Mall, chanting "si se puede" - "yes we can" - and "Obama listen, remember your promise."

Among the marchers was Jose Barnell, 60, a janitor originally from Mexico who said he crossed the border in 1970. A longtime resident of Chicago, he said he is now legal, as are his children and grandchildren. He traveled to Washington by bus to support immigration reform.

"This is the only issue on the table that has a history of bipartisan leadership," Nooani said, his voice almost lost by the sounds of the growing crowds. "Fixing immigration is fundamentally linked to the economy."
