Nigel Farage to the EU: Who the Hell do You Think You Are?!

Finally somebody out there seems to have their head on straight. The Global control has gone way to far. Will people listen and actually wake up to this fact?

http://www.prisonplanet.com/nigel-farage-to-the-eu-who-the-hell-do-you-think-you-are.html
As we have already said pretty much all of this before, we present it without commentary: “Good morning Mr. van Rompuy, you’ve been in office for one year, and in that time the whole edifice is beginning to crumble, there’s chaos, the money’s running out, I should thank you – you should perhaps be the pinup boy of the euroskeptic movement. But just look around this chamber this morning, look at these faces, look at the fear, look at the anger. Poor Barroso here looks like he’s seen a ghost. They’re beginning to understand that the game is up. And yet in their desperation to preserve their dream, they want to remove any remaining traces of democracy from the system. And it’s pretty clear that none of you have learned anything. When you yourself Mr. van Rompuy say that the euro has brought us stability, I supposed I could applaud you for having a sense of humor, but isn’t this really just the bunker [or banker?] mentality.

Biden Says Brussels Could Be 'Capital of the Free World'

clipped from www.foxnews.com

It's not unheard of for Vice President Biden to get lost in the moment, but during a speech earlier this month to the European Parliament his flattery of the host may have gone a bit overboard, ceding Washington, D.C.'s role as the world's center of liberty.

He suggested that Washington, D.C., his home, is undeserving of that title -- notwithstanding its wealth of global organizations and the countless international summits that take place there.

"As you probably know, some American politicians and American journalists refer to Washington, D.C. as the 'capital of the free world,'" Biden said. "But it seems to me that in this great city, which boasts 1,000 years of history and which serves as the capital of Belgium, the home of the European Union, and the headquarters for NATO, this city has its own legitimate claim to that title."

"We need each other more now than we have ever," Biden said.

European Parliament asks for a Global tax on financial transactions

clipped from euroalert.net

Plans should be developed for a global tax to discourage excessive risk-taking by financial institutions and ensure that the financial industry pays for the damage caused by the financial crisis, says Parliament in a resolution. If a worldwide tax proves unachievable, the EU could consider the option of going it alone, add MEPs.

Parliament asks the Commission to develop the transaction tax plan in time for the EU to present a common position to present to the G20 in June. The Commission is also asked to assess how such a tax could help stabilise financial markets and prevent a similar crisis by targeting "undesirable" transactions, which should be specifically identified by the Commission, says the resolution.

The Commission and Council are urged to look at how the tax could be used to finance development co-operation and help developing countries to combat climate change, as well as at how the tax could contribute to the EU budget.

EU: Prison of Nations

clipped from europenews.dk

Nigel Farage, a British member of the European Parliament, was fined an equivalent of $4,000 on Tuesday for "insulting" the new European Union President Herman van Rompuy (r.) and refusing to apologize.

Herman van Rompuy

In a memorable performance in Strasbourg ten days earlier, the Euroskeptic MEP told the former Beligian prime minister that he had "all the charisma of a damp rag and the appearance of a low-grade bank clerk":

"We were told that when we had a president, we'd see a giant global political figure, a man who would be the political leader for 500 million people, the man that would represent all of us all of us on the world stage, the man whose job was so important that of course you're paid more than President Obama. Well, I'm afraid what we got was you... The question I want to ask is: 'Who are you?' I'd never heard of you, nobody in Europe had ever heard of you."

Europe Rejects Obama’s Request To Share Bank Data & The Administration Wants To Track Your Cell Phone

European Parliament (Brussels)Image by Xaf via Flickr

clipped from motorcitytimes.com

For a bunch of people who supposedly were enthralled with Obama, they really aren’t big fans of his policies. Via the WSJ:

The European Parliament exercised its new powers Thursday, rejecting a controversial data-sharing deal between the European Union and the U.S., designed to track international financing for terrorism.

Several senior U.S. officials, including Vice-President Joe Biden and the secretaries of state and the Treasury, told numerous EU officials, including parliamentarians, “about the importance of this agreement to our mutual security,” the U.S. mission said in a statement.

It seems that the EU is more concerned about it’s citizens privacy than Our Own Government. Speaking of privacy…

The Obama Justice Department is pushing for warrantless tracking of cell phones. Via C-Net:
