Are they actually trying to create a War? This has got the be the stupidest thing I have ever seen from any United States Government. This is going to a foreign country to deal with a state in the US.
Where is that in the Constitution? This is what causes Kings and Queens to be overthrown.

An indignant President Obama complained last week, "I can't spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead." Fine. How about plastering a copy of his presidential oath of office there instead? The kowtowing commander-in-chief is in dire need of a daily reminder that his job is to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States" -- not international law or global diktats.
Case in point: Last week, Obama's State Department handed in America's first-ever report to the United Nations Commissioner for Human Rights in conjunction with something called the "Universal Periodic Review." In short, the 29-page document is a self-aggrandizing report card touting the administration's far-left domestic and foreign policy initiatives for the world's approval. The report boasts of racial- and gender-bean-counting in the executive branch; Justice Department outreach to Muslim grievance groups opposed to post-9/11 security measures; teachers' union payoffs in the federal stimulus law; continuing commitment to closing the Gitmo detention facility for enemy combatants; and the illusory lifesaving effects of Obamacare on minorities through "expanding community health centers" (which have yet to be built, but not that it matters in our Nobel Peace Prize-winning president's age of post-achievement).
The report also includes a section on "values and immigration," which essentially singles out Arizona's immigration enforcement law as a human rights deficiency "that is being addressed in a court action."
In response, Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer rightly blasted Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration for succumbing to "internationalism run amok." Brewer pointed out in a letter to Clinton, "Human rights as guaranteed by the United States and Arizona Constitutions are expressly protected in S.B. 1070 and defended vigorously by my Administration. In fact, the Department of Justice has correctly not included these so-called 'human rights' issues in the current litigation against the State of Arizona." Somehow, that inconvenient detail escaped the Foggy Bottom bureaucrats' notice.

  As news reports break out on Arizona's Immigration Law due to take effect this Thursday. It seems the News Channels keep on trying to make it all out to be a bad thing. I'm sure most of us know better though.
  
  What they don't seem to realize in most of these articles is that it's already working and it hasn't even taken effect yet.
  See as more people leave. More people are able to find work. More people can find affordable housing, and less ID theft is going on.  These are just some of the things I don't see the News talking about. Yet it's in all these articles.

  It is obvious that these people will self deport when there are no jobs and the law is enforced. This article is a good example but we must realize that some will seek refuge in sanctuary cities and states. The law must be applied to all states and since it is a copy of the federal law then this administration must enforce the law.

  Arizona's new law which aims to crack down on illegal aliens is set to take effect in just a few days. Ahead of the July 29 implementation date, lawsuits are flying, and the media are trying everything they can to draw attention to this "controversial" law. The problem is that it's not controversial. It's straightforward, inline with federal law, and is supported by vast majority of Arizona residents. That, of course, doesn't stop liberals from trying to make controversy where controversy doesn't exist.
  It's amazing what so-called journalists will do to either stir things up in their favor or tone things down in order to draw sympathy for their cause. Take this Reuters story as an example: Migrants sell up, flee Arizona ahead of crackdown. In it, we can see that it becomes a challenge for the writer to see how many different ways he can describe a person in this country illegally without actually using the word "illegal."

  The author does start off by using the phrase "illegal immigrant" at first, but even that term is misleading. If people have no intention of learning the American culture and adopting the American way of life, are they really "immigrants"?

  Now, high unemployment and a tough new Arizona immigration law will test that idea in a $9 billion industry: Arizona agriculture.
  Arizona needs about 50,000 temporary workers to harvest winter produce, and only 25,000 of those workers typically come from the U.S. side of the border, according to an Arizona farm lobby group.
  At least some workers from past years say they won't be returning to Arizona this season.

The Governor personally related to the President the concerns of millions of Arizonans over the lack of security on Arizona's southern border. During their visit, President Obama committed to present details, within two weeks of their meeting, regarding his plans to commit National Guard troops to the Arizona border and commit to spend $500 million in additional funds on border security.
  Governor Brewer remains eager to receive the specific details of President Obama's border security plans. She continues to extend an invitation to the President to visit with families living along the southwestern border and see the situation firsthand.

  Two weeks ago, Governor Jan Brewer took President Obama to task for making Arizonas unsecured borders and illegal immigration crisis a laughing matter. However, since then, Washingtons comedy of errors has grown far worse, with top cabinet officials admitting that they havent even read Arizonas new immigration law. Broken borders are not a laughing matter, but the failure by Obamas trusted officials to read Arizonas law before commenting and condemning it is laughable. Obama's meeting with Ariz. governor

Obama says the law is the wrong approach to illegal immigration and his administration is combing through it and preparing for a possible legal challenge. Brewer has been soliciting donations from the law's supporters to defend it. In an interview Wednesday, Brewer said she hoped she and Obama could agree on solutions to improve border security. Brewer said she wants to know how Obama's plan to deploy up to 1,200 National Guard troops to the border with Mexico will affect Arizona and what else he has in mind to tighten border security. Supporters of an overhaul of U.S. immigration law have accused Obama of not pushing Congress hard enough to pass immigration legislation She said she'll make a pitch for her own proposal calling for more troops on the border

Know the truth. Our own Government does absolutely nothing to secure the borders of Arizona. With the drug trafficking and cartel, Kidnappings, child laboring, and all out crime that comes from these borders. It makes a person wonder exactly what they are up to in Washington D.C. Are they just expecting the individual states to not protect their own? The Murder rates down by the border and the land owners down their struggle to keep what they have let alone their own lives.
It really make me wonder if Washington is actually trying to keep the terrorism going here in America. It has nothing to do with Race. But, it does have everything to do protecting the Citizens of the State of Arizona.
It's about time I see a state take it's own action and do what is constitutionally right.
Know the truth. Media and the President either have absolutely no clue, or they are deceivingly up to something that is no good.
This makes me glad I live in AZ.

Concealed Weapons Bill Closer To Reality In Arizona

clipped from www.personalliberty.com Lawmakers in the Arizona House of Representatives have adopted a bill that, if signed by the state’s governor, will allow people to carry concealed weapons without a permit, making the currently required background checks and classes unnecessary. The bill was passed in a 36-19 vote, and if Governor Jan Brewer signs it, as some commentators expect she will, Arizona will join Alaska and Vermont as the only three states that do not require permits to carry concealed weapons. Two states ban them altogether, and the remaining 45 require such permits. In response to critics who say this may increase access to guns for law-breakers, Republican Representative David Gowan, one of the sponsors of the bill, said that "what’s dangerous is when they’re [only] in criminals’ hands, not citizens’ hands."

Arizona Drops Children’s Health Program

Jan Brewer signed an austere budget that will leave nearly 47,000 low-income children without coverage. The Arizona budget is a vivid reflection of how the fiscal crisis afflicting state governments is cutting deeply into health care. The state also will roll back Medicaid coverage for childless adults in a move that is expected to eventually drop 310,000 people from the rolls. The cuts also mean the state will forgo hundreds of millions of dollars in federal matching aid, and could lose far more if Congress passes a health bill that requires states to maintain eligibility levels for the two programs. The 12-year-old program, which enjoys bipartisan support in Congress, covers an estimated 7.7 million children whose parents typically make too much to qualify for Medicaid but too little to afford private insurance.
