Obama Amnesty Begins: Halts Deportations for 300,000 Illegal Aliens; Offers ‘Work Permits. And a Blue Card.

The front of a Spanish national identity cardImage via WikipediaThe Dream Act Includes this Blue Card. What is it?
http://www.laldef.org/laldef_english_version/assets/pdfs/Dream_Act_%20AGJobs.pdf

The AgJobs bill would help persons who have worked and plan to continue to work in agriculture in this country. The basic requirement is that the applicant must have worked at least 863 hours or 150 work days in agriculture during the two years proceeding December 31, 2008. (This date may change when the law is finally passed.) Persons who successfully qualify would be given a “blue card,’ the equivalent of conditional residence under the Dream Act. Persons would have permission to work in the U.S. with a ‘Blue Card” and can leave the country for short periods of time and return legally.

First read the article. I will post more on the Blue card which NOBODY seems to want to talk about.

Stand With Arizona
The Obama Administration today announced a virtual amnesty-by-decree for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, whose deportations will be “indefinitely delayed”. In addition, Obama finally announced a jobs program – but for ILLEGAL ALIENS, not citizens – as those 300,000 illegals will also become eligible for “work permits“.
This action represents an administrative end-run around Congress, which twice rejected the ‘DREAM Act’ in 2010. As disgraceful as is this usurpation of Congressional authority, this announcement is even worse than is being reported.
Our analysis reveals that – despite media focus of this action limited to so-called “Dreamer” illegal students, this new policy, coupled with the criteria established by the June 2011 “Morton Memos” which set up a joint “DHS and DOJ working group” could expand this “indefinite delay” of deportation to potentially MILLIONS of illegals – creating a new, massive amnesty entirely by fiat, bypassing Congress.
From the AP:
The Obama administration said Thursday it will indefinitely delay deporting many illegal immigrants who don’t have criminal records and will offer them a chance to apply for a work permit. The government will focus on sending back convicted criminals and those who might be a national security or public safety threat.
The policy change will mean a case-by-case review of approximately 300,000 illegal immigrants facing possible deportation in federal immigration courts, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said.
This  is clearly what Sen. Dick Durbin was hinting at with his recent statement that there would be “good news” coming soon regarding deportations of “undocumented students”.
This announcement puts into writing what the Administration had already begun to put into practice, after the infamous “ICE Memos” issued by ICE head John Morton in June, in which Morton spells out which illegals would now receive “particular care and consideration” — e.g., amnesty – essentially “Dreamers”, but potentially millions more.
Under the new process, a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Justice (DOJ) “working group” will develop specific criteria to identify “low-priority removal cases” that should be considered for prosecutorial discretion.  These criteria will be based on “positive factors” from the Morton Memo (PDF), which include

In Phase 1, eligible applicants, including individuals on Temporary Protected Status and other statuses designated by the Secretary, will be registered, fingerprinted, screened, and considered for an interim “Lawful Prospective Immigrant” (LPI) status that allows them to work and to travel outside of the United States. In Phase 2, which will take place in eight years after current visa backlogs have cleared (often referred to as the “back of the line” provision), LPIs who have fulfilled all additional statutory requirements will be permitted to petition for adjustment to Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) status... ...Speedy checks of biographic and biometric information against law enforcement databases will help ensure that only those applicants who qualify are granted authorization to remain. Providing eligible applicants with a secure, tamper-resistant credential will enhance border security and interior enforcement by allowing law enforcement to more readily identify and remove convicted criminals; national security and public safety risks; individuals who do not comply with the requirement to register; and other ineligible applicants... ...Specifically, to be eligible for initial registration for the legalization program and interim status as an LPI, each individual must: (1) complete an application supplying basic biographic and biometric information; (2) pass terrorism, criminal history, and other security checks; (3) pay all applicable fees, civil penalties, and taxes; and (4) have been continuously present in the United States since the date of enactment...

Blackwater Founder Assembling Secret Mercenary Obama's secret military operations

http://news.antiwar.com/2011/05/15/blackwater-founder-assembling-secret-mercenary-army-for-uae
For the second time this year, Blackwater USA founder Erik Prince has been tapped as the leader of a secret military being formed in the desert. In January he was reportedly at the head of a “anti-piracy milita” in northern Somalia. Now, he is in the United Arab Emirates.
The UAE confirmed Prince’s hiring, saying he was providing “operational, planning and training support” for them, but offering no additional details. Documents leaked regarding the deal with Prince’s new company, Reflex Responses, confirm that he is building up a new mercenary army for the emirates.
The mercenary force is largely composed of Colombians and reportedly also features a number of South African mercs who were involved in the Executive Outcomes corporate army of the 1990′s.
Officially the reason for the new mercenary army is “anti-terrorism” operations, but the force is also confirmed to be created to deal with “internal unrest.” A number of other nations in the region have faced pro-democracy uprisings in recent months, and the United Arab Emirates even provided troops to help Bahrain crush theirs.

At a covert forward operating base run by the US Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) in the Pakistani port city of Karachi, members of an elite division of Blackwater are at the center of a secret program in which they plan targeted assassinations of suspected Taliban and Al Qaeda operatives, "snatch and grabs" of high-value targets and other sensitive action inside and outside Pakistan, an investigation by The Nation has found. The Blackwater operatives also assist in gathering intelligence and help direct a secret US military drone bombing campaign that runs parallel to the well-documented CIA predator strikes, according to a well-placed source within the US military intelligence apparatus.

Secret Desert Force Set Up by Blackwater’s Founder

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/15/world/middleeast/15prince.html
The Colombians, along with South African and other foreign troops, are trained by retired American soldiers and veterans of the German and British special operations units and the French Foreign Legion, according to the former employees and American officials.
In outsourcing critical parts of their defense to mercenaries — the soldiers of choice for medieval kings, Italian Renaissance dukes and African dictators — the Emiratis have begun a new era in the boom in wartime contracting that began after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. And by relying on a force largely created by Americans, they have introduced a volatile element in an already combustible region where the United States is widely viewed with suspicion.
The United Arab Emirates — an autocracy with the sheen of a progressive, modern state — are closely allied with the United States, and American officials indicated that the battalion program had some support in Washington.
“The gulf countries, and the U.A.E. in particular, don’t have a lot of military experience. It would make sense if they looked outside their borders for help,” said one Obama administration official who knew of the operation. “They might want to show that they are not to be messed with.”
Still, it is not clear whether the project has the United States’ official blessing. Legal experts and government officials said some of those involved with the battalion might be breaking federal laws that prohibit American citizens from training foreign troops if they did not secure a license from the State Department.
Mark C. Toner, a spokesman for the department, would not confirm whether Mr. Prince’s company had obtained such a license, but he said the department was investigating to see if the training effort was in violation of American laws. Mr. Toner pointed out that Blackwater (which renamed itself Xe Services ) paid $42 million in fines last year for training foreign troops in Jordan and other countries over the years.
The U.A.E.’s ambassador to Washington, Yousef al-Otaiba, declined to comment for this article. A spokesman for Mr. Prince also did not comment.

Obama sharply increases secret military operations

http://www.wsws.org/articles/2010/jun2010/spec-j05.shtml
5 June 2010
The Obama administration has sharply increased the use of US Special Operations forces in secret military interventions around the world, according to a report Thursday by the Washington Post.
The Post reports that the administration has increased to 75 the number of countries where these elements, including US Army Delta Force and Green Beret troops, Navy Seals and other secretive units, are operating, compared to 60 at the beginning of 2009.
Funding for these operations has risen accordingly. The Obama White House has requested a 5.7 percent increase in appropriations for Special Operations in fiscal 2011, amounting to a total budget of $6.3 billion. It has also sought another $3.5 billion in contingency funding for Special Ops in 2010.
Citing senior US military and administration officials, the Post presents a telling picture of the Janus-like character of the Obama administration’s foreign and military policy: “Beneath its commitment to soft-spoken diplomacy, and beyond the combat zones of Afghanistan and Iraq, the Obama administration has significantly expanded a largely secret US war against al-Qaeda and other radical groups,” the newspaper states.
The article continues, “The surge in Special Operations deployments, along with intensified CIA drone attacks in western Pakistan, is the other side of the national security doctrine of global engagement and domestic values President Obama released last week.”
In other words, while mouthing phrases about diplomacy, universal values and the rule of law, Obama has presided over a dramatic escalation in the use of killing squads that have been responsible for assassination programs, torture and the murder of civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan. The use of these methods has been extended secretly to numerous other countries.

Obama violates War Powers Act?

President Obama just about to deliver his Janu...Image via Wikipediahttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OCAbgKfrBFw&feature=player_embedded#at=46
President Obama said the US would stay in Libya for days. Two months later, however, the War Powers Act says America needs to go to war or get out of North Africa. Can Obama circumvent the Constitution or is the Commander in Chief breaking the own laws he promises to uphold on the campaign trail? RT's Lauren Lyster investigates.

In Libya War, Obama Shows Disdain for War Powers Act

 http://www.progressive.org/wx052111.html
President Obama has again shown his disdain for the War Powers Act when it comes to Libya.

Under the War Powers Act, the President has 60 days to get authorization from Congress for any military involvement, and if he fails to get that authorization, he must end the involvement within 30 days.

The 60-day authorization period expired on Friday.

On Friday, President Obama belatedly and haughtily sent a letter to Congress seeking authorization. That letter said: "It has always been my view that it is better to take military action, even in limited actions such as this, with congressional engagement, consultation and support. Congressional action in support of the mission would underline the U.S. commitment to this remarkable international effort."

Note the phrase “it is better.” Obama acts as though getting approval from Congress is a mere option, not the law or the Constitution that he is obliged to follow.

If John McCain had been elected president in 2008 and had proceeded this way, Democrats would be up in arms, and progressives would be in the streets by the tens of thousands.

But the peace movement is quiescent, and almost all Democrats are silent (Sen. Harry Reid actually praised Obama’s consultation with Congress), except Dennis Kucinich.

Is President Obama About to Break the Law?

 http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2011/05/is-president-obama-about-to-break-the-law.html
From the beginning of the U.S. military intervention in Libya, the Obama administration has cited the 1973 War Powers Act as the legal basis of its ability to conduct military activities for 60 days without first seeking a declaration of war from Congress.

The military intervention started on March 19; Congress was notified on March 21.

Those 60 days expire tomorrow.

Last week, Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that President Obama “has been mindful of the provisions of the War Powers Resolution and has acted in a manner consistent with them. He will continue to do so.”

Steinberg said the administration is “mindful of the passage of time including the end of the two-month period, we are in the process of reviewing our role, and the president will be making decisions going forward in terms of what he sees as appropriate for us to do."

What is President Obama -– a former lecturer in constitutional law -- going to do? White House officials refused to say.

And the chorus of criticism -– from the right and left -- is rising.

US government hits debt ceiling, lighting 11-week fuse - Politics Wires - MiamiHerald.com

The western front of the United States Capitol...Image via Wikipediahttp://www.miamiherald.com/2011/05/16/2219825/us-government-hits-debt-ceiling.html
Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner informed Congress on Monday that the United States has reached its legal debt limit, setting off a ticking time bomb that could explode in less than three months if lawmakers can't bridge differences and allow more government borrowing.
In hitting the $14.3 trillion debt ceiling - the limit on how much the government can borrow - the Obama administration on Monday began temporarily halting payments to the retirement and federal pension accounts of federal workers and started borrowing from those funds, to be restored later.
Geithner sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., warning that the government can move money around for about 11 weeks but if a new debt ceiling isn't agreed to by Aug. 2, the U.S. government could effectively default on its obligations to its creditors. He warned of "catastrophic economic consequences for citizens" unless Congress raises the debt ceiling.
An increase of about $2 trillion is expected, enough to get the issue past the 2012 elections before Congress would have to lift it again.
Republicans who control the House of Representatives vow to link raising the debt ceiling to cuts in government spending of at least equal measure. In a combative statement Monday, House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, upped the ante.
"As I have said numerous times, there will be no debt limit increase without serious budget reforms and significant spending cuts, cuts that are greater than any increase in the debt limit." Boehner has called previously for $2 trillion in spending cuts as part of any deal to raise the debt ceiling.

Wisconsin Republican U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan, the chairman of the House Budget Committee, repeated the linkage in a speech Monday in Obama's adopted hometown.
"For every dollar the president wants to raise the debt ceiling, we can show him plenty of ways to cut far more than a dollar of spending," Ryan told the Economic Club of Chicago. "Given the magnitude of our debt burden, the size of the spending cuts should exceed the size of the president's debt limit increase."

Republicans rule out tax increases and any significant cuts in defense spending. The United States continues to fight wars in Iraq and Afghanistan paid for with borrowing, the only time in U.S. history that wars weren't offset at least partially with some sort of tax.
Democrats insist that Social Security is off the table, as is an end to Medicare, but they are open to changes in Medicare funding.
If Congress fails to raise the debt ceiling by Aug. 2, it would force the Obama administration to choose between paying creditors or paying for military operations, Social Security and Medicare payments, and other commitments.

Obama administration floats draft plan to tax cars by the mile

President Barack Obama with Senate Budget Comm...Image via WikipediaBe sure to click on the link below to see the full article.
http://thehill.com/blogs/floor-action/house/159397-obama-floats-plan-to-tax-cars-by-the-mile
The Obama administration has floated a transportation authorization bill that would require the study and implementation of a plan to tax automobile drivers based on how many miles they drive.
The plan is a part of the administration's Transportation Opportunities Act, an undated draft of which was obtained this week by Transportation Weekly.
The White House, however, said the bill is only an early draft that was not formally circulated within the administration.
“This is not an administration proposal," White House spokeswoman Jennifer Psaki said. "This is not a bill supported by the administration. This was an early working draft proposal that was never formally circulated within the administration, does not taken into account the advice of the president’s senior advisers, economic team or Cabinet officials, and does not represent the views of the president.”

News of the draft follows a March Congressional Budget Office report that supported the idea of taxing drivers based on miles driven.
Among other things, CBO suggested that a vehicle miles traveled (VMT) tax could be tracked by installing electronic equipment on each car to determine how many miles were driven; payment could take place electronically at filling stations.
The CBO report was requested by Senate Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad (D-N.D.), who has proposed taxing cars by the mile as a way to increase federal highway revenues.
Obama's proposal seems to follow up on that idea in section 2218 of the draft bill. That section would create, within the Federal Highway Administration, a Surface Transportation Revenue Alternatives Office. It would be tasked with creating a "study framework that defines the functionality of a mileage-based user fee system and other systems."

The administration seems to be aware of the need to prepare the public for what would likely be a controversial change to the way highway funds are collected. For example, the office is called on to serve a public-relations function, as the draft says it should "increase public awareness regarding the need for an alternative funding source for surface transportation programs and provide information on possible approaches."

» Obama Pushes Chinese-Style Internet ID System

http://www.infowars.com/obama-pushes-chinese-style-internet-id-system
• IDPs issue credentials, the information objects used during a transaction to provide evidence of the subject’s identity The credential may also provide a link to the subject’s authority, roles, rights, privileges, and other attributes
• The credential can be stored on an identity medium: a device or object (physical or virtual) used for storing one or more credentials, claims, or attributes related to a subject Identity media are

★ 22 ★
available in many formats, such as smart cards, security chips embedded in personal computers, cell phones, software based certificates, and Universal Serial Bus (USB) devices Selecting the appropriate identity medium and credential type is implementation-specific and depends on the risk tolerance of the participating entities
A new program being touted by the Obama administration as a solution to online identity theft actually increases the risk of identity theft while providing the government with a national ID system through the backdoor, paving the way for a world wide web in which users will need government permission to access the Internet.
The so-called “National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace,” created by NIST under the auspices of the U.S. Commerce Department, purports to offer an “identity ecosystem” under which Americans will be able to protect their information not with passwords but with a “single credential” stored on a smart card, a cell phone, a keychain fob or some other kind of gadget. This will then be used to access a myriad of data, including tax returns, health information, bank accounts and more, amounting to a passport for your entire life.
Companies like Siemens developed credit card-sized gadgets years ago that enable fingerprints to be used to approve online transactions and the technology is already well established. A series of workshops are planned for June to September during which the government will nail down specifics with companies who are on board with the project and pilot projects will be launched next year.
The program bears more than a passing resemblance to a 2007 proposal by China that threatened to force bloggers to register their real identities and personal details via a single centralized ID system as a means for the Communist government to control information and punish dissenters.
That idea was scrapped for being too draconian, but the Obama administration is pushing ahead with its own Internet ID system in pursuit of a wider cybersecurity agenda that Senator Joe Lieberman has publicly stated is aimed at mimicking Chinese-style censorship of the world wide web, casting doubt on assertions in the government PR video for the program embedded above that claim, “there is no central database tracking your actions”.
The irony of the fact that the program will be managed by a government that has routinely stolen and lost personal information (including that related to personal health data) through both malevolence and incompetence is not addressed in the propaganda video. Remember cash for clunkers? This is the same government that openly admitted it had seized control of data on Americans’ computers who used the cars.gov website.
Although the program will initially be voluntary, its widespread adoption by numerous internet hub giants will eventually make its use necessary for conducting any kind of transaction, creating profiles or engaging in any interactive process on the web.

Moreover, should there be a major cyber attack that cripples the web and leaves sensitive information vulnerable, the Obama administration would have all the political capital it needs to turn the “voluntary” program into a compulsory requirement for anyone who wishes to use the Internet. Given the fact that the Stuxnet worm attack was admittedly launched by the United States and Israel, the culprits are likely to be closer to home than we think.
“Although the White House is describing the NSTIC plan as “voluntary,” federal agencies could begin to require it for IRS e-filing, applying for Social Security or veterans’ benefits, renewing passports online, requesting federal licenses (including ham radio and pilot’s licenses), and so on. Then obtaining one of these ID would become all but mandatory for most Americans,” writes CNet’s Declan McCullagh.
“Taken to its logical conclusion, the program, “Could become the virtual equivalent of a national ID card,” he adds.
Despite government assurances that the “conspiracy theory set” are wrong in highlighting privacy concerns, critics have labeled the plan an effort to impose a national ID card via the backdoor.

FBI dedicates $1 billion to massive biometrics identification program | The Raw Story

Diagram of the "Human Identification at a...Image via WikipediaGet ready folks. Seems that WE THE PEOPLE no longer have a say in any of this.Criminal background or not. This is invasion of ALL Privacy and should not be in the hands of any Government. Yet here it comes.
Imagine doing no harm or having a bad background. Then a computer glicth hits the system. (Which happens everyday) And your name pops up as a wanted fellon. You go to prision, Why? Because the computer says so. That's what this system is. And again very easliy hacked. Because it is digital. All digital computers are easily hacked.
This is what we call no more Freedom.
http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/03/24/fbi-dedicates-1-billion-to-massive-biometrics-identification-program

The Federal Bureau of Investigations announced recently that it is dedicating up to $1 billion for a Lockheed Martin-developed system that will enable on-the-fly analysis of detailed identification information that can be instantaneously shared with law enforcement all around the world.
It's called the "Next Generation Identification System" (NGIS), and if you're a fan of television dramas like the CBS crime drama NCIS, it may sound pretty familiar.
The FBI says their forthcoming system is an "incremental" upgrade to their currently-existing "Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System" (IAFIS), but it's more than just an upgrade: it's a revolution in law enforcement technology that's bound to draw comparisons to the "Total Information Awareness" (TIA) project Congress ostensibly shut down in 2004.
The TIA project, however, was broader in scope, targeting private individuals all over the world instead of just suspected criminals or terrorists.
While the initial stage of NGIS deals solely with fingerprints, the FBI said it will eventually upscale to include detailed biometrics like retina prints, facial mapping, palm prints, voice mapping and handwriting analysis, among other likely sources of data.
"[NGIS] represents a quantum leap in fingerprint identification that will help us in solving investigations, preventing crime, and apprehending criminals and terrorists," an agency spokesman announced earlier this month.
One aspect of the program that's likely to draw a sharp reacting from civil liberties advocates is the provision of electronic fingerprint scanners to state and local police agencies.
The FBI says these scanners will be used to collect biometric data from "suspects," as opposed to those convicted of crimes. That data would then be sent wirelessly to the NGIS, where it can be accessed by law enforcement anywhere.
A sub-database, called the "Repository for Individuals of Special Concern," will also be created to track wanted criminals, registered sex offenders and "suspected terrorists."
That's another facet of the project which may give civil liberties advocates even more cause for alarm, considering the Obama administration's recent revisions to how Americans suspected of terrorism should be treated by law enforcement.

US To Sell $60B In Advanced Arms To Saudi - Politics News Story - WSOC Charlotte

King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz. (2002 photo)Image via Wikipediahttp://www.wsoctv.com/politics/25445601/detail.html
The Obama administration notified Congress on Wednesday that it plans to sell up to $60 billion in advanced weaponry to Saudi Arabia in one of the largest-ever single U.S. arms sales, a deal intended to counter the rising influence of Iran.
State Department and Pentagon officials told lawmakers that the sales that will include 84 new F-15 fighter jets, upgrades to 70 existing Saudi F-15s, 190 helicopters and a wide array of missiles, bombs and delivery systems, as well as accessories such as night-vision goggles and radar warning systems. The sale, first revealed in September, has been in the works for months and is designed to strengthen the defense forces of Saudi Arabia, a longtime U.S. ally, and counter Iran as a regional power in the Persian Gulf. "This proposed sale has tremendous significance from a strategic regional perspective," said Andrew Shapiro, the assistant secretary of state for political and military affairs who announced the deal. "It will send a strong message to countries in the region that we are committed to support the security of our key partners and allies in the Arabian Gulf and broader Middle East," Shapiro told reporters. "And it will enhance Saudi Arabia's ability to deter and defend against threats to its borders and to its oil infrastructure, which is critical to our economic interests."

RFID is a good tool in many ways. But, NEVER for a personal ID System.
From Biometrics, Fingerprints, eye scans, Facial and voice recognition to RFID's Positive ID Chip implants. I can never be a good Idea whatsoever to have all of your information in any central database.

The proposed system for authenticating people, organizations and infrastructure on the web at the transactional level will require an identity ecosystem. By Mathew J. Schwartz
    InformationWeek
    June 25, 2010 08:00 AM
The Obama administration is set to propose a new system for authenticating people, organizations and infrastructure on the Web. The online authentication and identity management system would be targeted at the transactional level -- for example, when someone logs into their banking website or completes an online e-commerce purchase.
Making such a system effective, however, will require creating an "identity ecosystem," backed by extensive public/private cooperation, said White House cybersecurity coordinator Howard Schmidt, delivering the opening keynote speech at the Symantec Government Symposium 2010 in Washington on Tuesday.

  • read more on www.worthynews.com
The report builds on the Obama-commissioned Cyberspace Policy Review, which analyzed the government's information and communications infrastructure defensive capabilities. One of the report's recommendations was to "build a cybersecurity-based identity management vision and strategy that addresses privacy and civil liberties interests, leveraging privacy-enhancing technologies for the nation."
Simply issuing a Web-friendly biometric identification card to everyone in the country, of course, wouldn't necessarily make anyone or anything more secure, including online transactions

  • White House Releases Draft Digital Identity Strategy

Rather than mandating a national online ID, the proposed strategy urges development of secure, standard, interoperable framework for online transactions. By J. Nicholas Hoover
    InformationWeek
    June 25, 2010 03:36 PM
The White House on Friday released a draft strategy aimed at helping increase the trustworthiness of digital identities and online transactions.
The 39-page National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace defines and urges development of a high-level framework and eventually an interoperable "environment" for identification, authentication and authorization during the course of online transactions that the White House calls the Identity Ecosystem.

  • The strategy does not attempt to reconstitute the ghost of failed national identity card efforts nor create any new government-run database of all American citizens' identities, but, rather, appears aimed at driving the creation and use of a framework or blueprint within which online identities can be interoperable, secure and useful across the Web.

  • The strategy has several over-arching goals, including the design and implementation of the so-called Identity Ecosystem, a campaign to educate the public and improve confidence and willingness to participate in it, and long-term management of the Identity Ecosystem.

  • The strategy, sparked by the Obama administration's Cyberspace Policy Review issued last May, has thus far been developed by the White House, in concert with industry, government agencies and privacy advocates, collecting more than 4,000 comments already from those constituent groups.
If the strategy sounds somewhat broad and vague, it's because it is. The White House notes that the global nature of the Internet forces this to be an international effort, and implies that the importance of stakeholder acceptance in such a broad effort means that any successes will come only through cooperation with both industry and the public. That almost necessitates something on a grand scale.

  • The White House expects to get the President's seal of approval on the final plan by October, which is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. In the interim, the Department of Homeland Security will be collecting public comment on and ideas for the strategy through July 19 on a crowdsourcing site powered by IdeaScale.

Oil Volcano Pressure Too Strong For Containment

clipped from www.rense.com

It has been estimated by experts that the pressure which
blows the oil into the Gulf waters is estimated to be between 20,000 and
70,000 PSI (pounds per square inch). Impossible to control.

What US Scientists Are Forbidden To Tell The Public About
The Gulf

What you are about to read, is what the scientists
in the United States are not allowed to tell you in great fear of the Obama
administration.

The flow of oil and toxic gases is bringing
up with it... rocks and sand which causes the flow to create a sandblasting
effect on the remaining well head device currently somewhat restricting
the flow, as well as the drilled hole itself.
It
is difficult to know how much water will go down to the core and therefore,
its not possible to fully calculate the rise of the floor.
Depending on the height of the

Obama Denies Visas To Israeli Scientists But Allows Terrorist Professor

Be sure to check out the entire article at the link.
clipped from www.uncoverage.net
The Obama administration’s sick and backwards foreign policy cannot be gilded any longer. Barack Obama has an immature and arrogant disdain for our long-time ally Israel yet “drops trou” for Islamic radicals who intend harm to our country.  This president is now a wide-open, unrepentant  Islamic jihad sympathizer. There can be no doubt.  Whether Obama means intentional harm by these policies, or is content with benign negligence, cannot be known.

Fast on the heels of his outrageous and shameful disrespect of Israeli Prime Minister during a state visit last week is the latest example of Israel-bashing and Muzz-love:

This is a new policy decision of the Obama administration. Up until now, it was routine for Israeli nuclear scientists and technicians to receive such visas and to study at US universities.

Meanwhile, guess who’s coming to dinner in the most terrorist-loving community in the USA?

Tariq Ramadan will be featured speaker at this weekend’s “Muslim-fest” in Detroit.

Bin Laden: Americans Will Die if Alleged 9/11 Mastermind Is Executed

Al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden threatened in a new audio recording released Thursday to kill any captured Americans if the U.S. executes the accused mastermind of the Sept.11 attacks or any other Al Qaeda suspects.

The U.S. is still considering whether to put Khalid Sheik Mohammed and four of his fellow plotters on military tribunal for their role in the Sept. 11 attacks. The Obama administration is also looking into recommendations for civilian trials, and is expected to announce a decision soon.

In a brief 74-second audio tape aired on Al-Jazeera television, bin Laden said if the U.S. decides to execute any Al Qaeda suspects in its custody -- and explicitly mentioned Mohammed -- his terror network would kill American captives.

The terror leader said such a decision "would mean the U.S. has issued a death sentence against whoever of you becomes a prisoner in our hands."
