We live in an age when paranoia is running wild. #1 Are you ready for "electronic skin tattoos"? One team of researchers has created an extremely thin, extremely flexible "smart skin" that will open up a whole new world of possibilities. Wearing "skin-mounted electronics" might seem like a great idea to tech geeks, but it also could create a whole lot of new problems. The following is how an article in one UK newspaper described this new breakthrough....

The "epidermal electronic system" relies on a highly flexible electrical circuit composed of snake-like conducting channels that can bend and stretch without affecting performance. The circuit is about the size of a postage stamp, is thinner than a human hair and sticks to the skin by natural electrostatic forces rather than glue.

Yes, this kind of technology would be a great way to connect wirelessly to the Internet and it would be helpful for doctors that need to monitor their patients, but the potential for abuse is also there.
Once this type of technology becomes widespread, governments will be able to monitor the location and activities of their citizens like never before.
In addition, this type of technology could one day become mandated by governments. For example, someday you may be required to have an "electronic skin tatoo" in order to prove your identity or to participate in commerce.
Also, it is not too far of a stretch to imagine that "skin-mounted electronics" could be used to control large populations. Just remember, if you connect yourself physically to the Internet, that also means that the Internet is connected to you.
#2 According to a shocking document obtained by Oath Keepers, the FBI is now instructing store owners to report many new forms of "suspicious activity" to them. According to the document, "suspicious activity" now includes....

• paying with cash
• missing a hand or fingers
• "strange odors"
• making "extreme religious statements"
• "radical theology"
• purchasing weatherproofed ammunition or match containers
• purchasing meals ready to eat
• purchasing night vision devices, night flashlights or gas masks

According to WorldNetDaily, this document is part of a "series of brochures" that will be distributed "to farm supply stores, gun shops, military surplus stores and even hotels and motels."
#3 The U.S. military has developed an invisible "pain ray" that is remarkably effective. The following is how a recent article posted on Alternet described this weapon....

It sounds like a weapon out of Star Wars. The Active Denial System, or ADS, works like an open-air microwave oven, projecting a focused beam of electromagnetic radiation to heat the skin of its targets to 130 degrees. This creates an intolerable burning sensation forcing those in its path to instinctively flee (a response the Air Force dubs the "goodbye effect").

In October 2010 FBI agents raided the homes of far left activists in Chicago and Minneapolis who were linked to the Marxist FARC terrorists and Islamic radicals as part of a terrorism investigation.

Hatem Abudayyeh is the executive director of the Arab American Action Network (AAAN). Hatem Abudayyeh has been with the Arab American Action Network (AAAN) since 1999, and was appointed Executive Director in 2003. The Arab American Action Network was founded by former PLO operative and close Obama family friend Rashid Khalidi. Obama was a director of the Woods Fund from 1994 through 2001, when the board approved a $40,000 grant to the Arab American Action Network.
In 2003 Barack Obama was an honored guest at a dinner sponsored by the AAAN for former PLO-operative Rashid Khalidi. During the dinner a video was taken that shows Barack Obama celebrating with members of this Palestinian group who are openly hostile towards Israel. Barack Obama even gave a toast to a Rashid Khalidi at this going away party. The LA Times will not release the video from this Jew-bashing dinner.
Not only was Hatem Abudayyeh’s radical organization given $40,000 by Barack Obama and the Woods Fund but his organization also collected nearly half a million in taxpayer money.

Sarasota and Pasco County Florida Sheriffs targeted by CAIR

Florida has historically been the center for jihadi activities since 1990. Eleven of the nineteen 9/11 hijackers trained in Florida before the attack. Three of the pilots including Mohammed Atta, the leader of the 9/11 attack, learned how to pilot the jet aircraft used on 9/11 at a flight school located in Sarasota, Florida. The Islamic Society of Sarasota-Bradenton helped raise funds for the terrorist group HAMAS two years ago.
Given all of this you would think that Sheriff Tom Knight's efforts to train his deputies on how to recognize shariah Islamists would be welcomed by everyone, especially Muslims, who have been the victims of attacks around the world. Well not so. The Council on American Islamic Relations in Tampa (CAIR-Tampa) wants this type of training to stop all across Florida. They have singled out Sheriffs Tom Knight from Sarasota and Bob White from Pasco County. What is their crime? Their efforts to protect and defend citizens against acts of terrorism by training their deputies on how to recognize suspicious activity.
According to the CAIR-Tampa website:

"Law Enforcement Trainings about "Radical Muslims" - We reference two examples of a cottage industry made up of anti-Muslim groups and individuals, who sell themselves as "experts" on radical Islam and Muslims, and then offer trainings to law enforcement agencies throughout Florida. Sarasota County Sheriff's Office has already done this and now Pasco County Sheriff's Office may be doing the same. The DHS representative at the meeting was aware of this and has pledged to contact the Sheriff's offices with alternative trainings by the DHS."

The expert they are referring to is Sam Kharoba, President and founder of the Florida based Counter Terrorism Operations Center. Sam felt compelled after 9/11 to defend America against future attacks by shariah Islamists. A former computer programmer he developed a software program to help law enforcement do online searches using Muslim names and aliases.  Sam, using his skills, began teaching law enforcement, the military and other security agencies how to recognize individuals and groups who have become radicalized to the point of taking action against civilians or facilities. His lecture series has been embraced by those in the counter and anti-terrorism business nationally.
As has been reported, CAIR has been identified by the FBI as a front group for the Muslim Brotherhood. CAIR leaders have been linked to the Department of State designated terrorist organization HAMAS. CAIR's efforts have been and remain focused on keeping the U.S. Department of Homeland Security from doing its job. CAIR is in the forefront of efforts to ham string law enforcement. They do this by providing "Muslim sensitivity" training. This is akin to the Mafia training the FBI on "Italian sensitivity".
CAIR-Tampa has joined with other CAIR chapters nationwide to prevent Americans Muslims from talking to the FBI. On their website the following warning appears:

"There have been recent concerns over the recent "foiled plots" by the FBI. Particularly, CAIR criticizes the FBI for its use of agent provocateurs specifically targeting American Muslims and entrapping them in "manufactured" crimes they never intended to commit in the first place.

While there is a legitimate use of informants by law enforcement agencies, a fine line is crossed when those agencies target a specific community and create the crime they are trying to prevent. In many cases where the FBI has "foiled a plot," they have actually provided the motivation and the necessary resources to carry out the crime through agent provocateurs."

The Federal Bureau of Investigations announced recently that it is dedicating up to $1 billion for a Lockheed Martin-developed system that will enable on-the-fly analysis of detailed identification information that can be instantaneously shared with law enforcement all around the world.
It's called the "Next Generation Identification System" (NGIS), and if you're a fan of television dramas like the CBS crime drama NCIS, it may sound pretty familiar.
The FBI says their forthcoming system is an "incremental" upgrade to their currently-existing "Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System" (IAFIS), but it's more than just an upgrade: it's a revolution in law enforcement technology that's bound to draw comparisons to the "Total Information Awareness" (TIA) project Congress ostensibly shut down in 2004.
The TIA project, however, was broader in scope, targeting private individuals all over the world instead of just suspected criminals or terrorists.
While the initial stage of NGIS deals solely with fingerprints, the FBI said it will eventually upscale to include detailed biometrics like retina prints, facial mapping, palm prints, voice mapping and handwriting analysis, among other likely sources of data.
"[NGIS] represents a quantum leap in fingerprint identification that will help us in solving investigations, preventing crime, and apprehending criminals and terrorists," an agency spokesman announced earlier this month.
One aspect of the program that's likely to draw a sharp reacting from civil liberties advocates is the provision of electronic fingerprint scanners to state and local police agencies.

The FBI says these scanners will be used to collect biometric data from "suspects," as opposed to those convicted of crimes. That data would then be sent wirelessly to the NGIS, where it can be accessed by law enforcement anywhere.
A sub-database, called the "Repository for Individuals of Special Concern," will also be created to track wanted criminals, registered sex offenders and "suspected terrorists."
That's another facet of the project which may give civil liberties advocates even more cause for alarm, considering the Obama administration's recent revisions to how Americans suspected of terrorism should be treated by law enforcement.

David Brian Stone, 45, his wife, Tina Stone, 44, and David Stone's two adult sons allegedly conspired with five other members of the fringe Christian militia group called the Hutaree to kill a Michigan law enforcement officer and then ambush the officer's colleagues who would have gathered for the funeral, according to court documents. All were indicted by a federal grand jury of seditious conspiracy, attempted use of weapons of mass destruction, teaching the use of explosive materials and possessing a firearm during a crime of violence. They appeared in court this morning but no pleas were made.

On Sunday, the FBI confirmed that federal law enforcement agents were conducting activities in Washtenaw and Lenawee counties over the weekend in connection to Hutaree, a Christian militia group. FBI Special Agent Sandra Berchtold told The Detroit News the federal warrants in the case are under court seal and declined further comment. Lackomar said he was told there were five arrests Saturday and another five early Sunday. The FBI declined to comment. One of the Hutaree members called a Michigan militia leader for assistance Saturday after federal agents had already began their raid, Lackomar said, but the militia member -- who is of Islamic decent and had heard about the threats -- declined to offer help.

US raid over Mexico killings

More than 15,000 people have died in drug-related violence in Mexico over the past three years [AFP] Officials said the goal of "Operation Knockdown" was to generate leads in the investigation into last week's killings in Ciudad Juarez. "We believe that major intelligence can be collected here on the US side by going after and getting these members of Barrio Azteca, and that's what they're doing down in El Paso," Rusty Payne, a spokesman for the US Drug Enforcement Administration, told AFP news agency. The military has led many of the arrests, and in some towns, army officers have taken over as police chief.
