Texan calls for jail time for enforcing Obamacare

House votes by congressional district. Democra...Image via Wikipediahttp://www.antiobamablog.com/2010/12/texan-calls-for-jail-time-for-enforcing-obamacare
Texans take their rights seriously.
A bill that has been prefiled for the 2011 state legislative session creates penalties of up to $5,000 in fines and up to five years in jail for anyone guilty of the “felony” of attempting “to enforce an act, order, law, statute, rule or regulation” of Obamacare, the president’s plan that effectively nationalizes the health-care decision making process.
The plan by Texas Rep. Leo Berman, R-Tyler, effectively would nullify the federal health care legislation in his state.
At least, that is what the bill that “relates to federal health care legislation” says:
The federal Act:
(1) is invalid in this state;
(2) is not recognized by this state;
(3) is specifically rejected by this state; and
(4) is null and void and of no effect in this state.
It provides that “a person who is an official, agent, or employee of the United States or an employee of a corporation providing services to the United States commits an offense if the person enforces or attempts to enforce an act, order, law, statute, rule, or regulation of the United States in violation of this chapter.”
It explains that the “assumption of power by the federal government in enacting the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (H.R. 3590; Pub. L. No. 111-148) as amended by the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (H.R. 4872; Pub. L. No. 111-152) interferes with the right of the people of this state to regulate health care as they determine is appropriate, and makes a mockery of James Madison’s assurance in Federalist Paper Number 45 that the powers delegated to the federal government are ‘few and defined’ while those that remain in the state governments are ‘numerous and indefinite.’”
An analysis of the issue by Michael Maharrey of the Tenth Amendment Center explains that there already is a widespread dissatisfaction across the United States from the mandates of Obamacare.
“The passage of the health care act opened the eyes of many previously apathetic citizens, making them aware of the rapidly expanding scope and influence of the federal government and its intrusiveness into their everyday lives,” he explained.
http://www.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2010/11/20/the-lone-star-states-opportunity/
Madison agreed, Writing in Federalist 46, he laid out the blueprint for constraining overreaching federal power.
“Should an unwarrantable measure of the federal government be unpopular in particular States, which would seldom fail to be the case, or even a warrantable measure be so, which may sometimes be the case, the means of opposition to it are powerful and at hand. The disquietude of the people; their repugnance and, perhaps refusal to cooperate with officers of the Union, the frowns of the executive magistracy of the State; the embarrassment created by legislative devices, which would often be added on such occasions, would oppose, in any State, very serious impediments; and were the sentiments of several adjoining States happen to be in Union, would present obstructions which the federal government would hardly be willing to encounter.”
Texas has taken the first step. Now the people of Texas need to rise up and insist on passage of the bill. Ultimately, the people’s voice will carry the day.
The question remains, will they speak?

America's Most Stressful Cities 2010 - Yahoo! Real Estate

Tampa at nightImage by bwhistler via Flickrhttp://realestate.yahoo.com/promo/americas-most-stressful-cities-2010

Anxiety levels are running high in these metros.

Every day overwhelmed Las Vegas residents flood the Stress Management Center of Nevada, looking for relief from their problems. They often complain of irregular work hours that keep them away from their families, and tensions that result from family health crises.

In Pictures: America's Most Stressful CitiesAmerica's Most Stressful Cities

"Las Vegas has got its share of stressors," says Kathleen Grace Santor M.Ed., Ed.S., a therapist and yoga instructor who founded the center and has studied stress for 15 years. "The 24-hour day requires employees to work 24 hours a day. They're too busy, they have too much on their plate, and they're always hurried."
There's a good reason that Santor's business is brisk. Forbes found Las Vegas to be the most stressful city in the country, followed by Los Angeles, Calif., and Houston, Texas.
To pinpoint the most stressed-out cities, we measured the country's largest metropolitan areas on six metrics that can either cause or be caused by stress: high unemployment, long commute times, long work hours, limited access to health care, poor physical health and a lack of exercise.

Frayed nerves in Sin City

To 36 million tourists per year, Las Vegas is a place to blow off steam and get away from the pressures of daily life. But residents of the city are far from carefree. The housing crisis and recession hit the city hard, and it currently has a 14.5% unemployment rate, the highest of all the cities we studied.
Making matters worse is how few people are taking steps to relieve the pressure. Physical exercise is known to reduce stress, but Las Vegans exercise less than residents of any other big city--a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention survey showed that nearly 30% of all residents hadn't exercised in the past month.

One thing I have noticed in the Reality Report lately is mis-information being feed about the immigration law. They are doing the same thing all Media outlets are doing. Keeping it all one sided isn't really Reality now is it? I'm a big fan of the reality report. But I really think they need to dig deeper on this subject. IT'S NOT About RACE PEOPLE.
Illegal means from all races. Mexico is just the main desert highway for them to come through to Arizona. Need to know more about it?

In this post, I'm going to not only show you Nanotechnology, in pills and other forms but how your body can and will react to it all. At first glance one might thing this is a great idea. But, in reality the dangers to your body can and most likely be very dangerous to everything about how your body reacts to it.

Big Brother to track your medication compliance with electronic transmitters in pills

  • read more on www.naturalnews.com
(NaturalNews) Now that the U.S. government has achieved its monopoly over health care, new technologies are in the works that will allow the government to remotely monitor and track whether ordinary citizens are complying with taking medications prescribed by conventional doctors. One new technology described at the U.S. Senate Committee on Aging allows "pills to be electronically outfitted with transmitters" which would track the patient's compliance with medications and broadcast that information back to government health care enforcers who check for "compliance and efficacy."

"Emerging technologies allow pills to be electronically outfitted with transmitters to communicate with the user's wristwatch that shows that the pill has been consumed,"

Parents who currently attempt to protect their children from toxic medical therapies such as chemotherapy could be closely monitored by government medical enforcement agents. If you try to flush dangerous pharmaceuticals down the toilet instead of actually taking them, the lack of an electronic tracking signal will let your health care observers know you didn't really take the pills.

Did you get your happy chemicals today?

At the click of a mouse, in other words, Big Government could mass medicate the entire nation. Imagine the entire population being dosed with "happy chemicals" in the days before an important vote. Or imagine the population being medicated with "anger hormones" following some staged false-flag attack, all designed to create outrage so that the politicians can sweep in with yet more "solutions" that destroy civil liberties.

If potential benefits of molecular nanotechnology (MNT) sound too good to be true, there is one caveat — the potential dangers of molecular nanotechnology. When nanofactories can arrange atoms into structures — playing with the building blocks of life itself, or in this case nanoblocks -- theoretically anything allowable by the laws of physics can be created fast and cheap. Requirements include a few square feet for the nanofactory, the software, and an electrical outlet.

Doctors Threaten to Pull Out of Texas Medicaid

Cuts to the reimbursements given to doctors who treat patients covered by the state's low-income health care program are raising fears that already declining physician participation will fall even further, according to a published report.
    Uzi-pas
The health care and insurance industries fear that a 1 percent cut in Medicaid fees scheduled to take effect Sept. 1 will be the first in a series of cuts as state agencies are asked to trim their two-year budgets by 10 percent to help cover an expected $18 billion revenue shortfall, The Dallas Morning News reported Sunday.
About 3.3 million poor and disabled Texans depend on Medicaid for health care, but less than a third of the state's 48,700 practicing doctors accept patients covered by the federal program, according to Texas Health and Human Services Commission. And some doctors who do participate in the program limit the number and kind of patients they accept.

"They're going to try to expand the rolls of Medicaid ... and at the same time they want to reduce the reimbursement to doctors," he said. "With the (pay) trend going downwards, I don't see additional physicians signing up. It's just not going to happen."

Oil Spill Brings Chris Matthews's Socialist Side Out

clipped from www.stumbleupon.com
This guy is a real piece of work.  He can no longer keep his socialist side in check.  I mean he's talking about the same actions that Hugo Chavez took when he nationalized the oil industry in his country.
Obama has already nationalized healthcare to a certain degree, he is in the process of nationalizing the banks, and he nationalized the auto industry (so the taxpayer could pay the union pensions).  What's next, nationalizing the energy industry with a sham of a bill that kills jobs and helps allies of President Obama reap huge profits in a carbon exchange scheme.  Oh wait, they're working on that one now in Congress.
If you really care about the "people" you should stop misleading them with your socialist garbage and start talking about the success stories of capitalism.
I have had enough of these progressives who are really socialists calling themselves Democrats attacking our capitalist system

Pataki Says Obamacare Can Be Repealed

clipped from newsmax.com

Former New York Gov. George Pataki is leading a national effort to repeal Obamacare.

In an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, Pataki said he is launching the effort because the recent healthcare plan signed into law by President Barack Obama imposes the heavy hand of the federal government into the healthcare decisions of all Americans, contrary to the great traditions of the United States.

The group’s main priority is to encourage Americans to go to the RevereAmerica.org website to sign an online petition where concerned citizens can voice their desire to repeal Obamacare.

Pataki argues that many of the claims of Obamacare are not true. For example, he says the oft-made claim by Democrats that individuals will be able to keep their current healthcare plan if they like it, is not true.

“It’s not what they said it was, and they thought the American people would roll over and accept it once they rammed it through.”

Taxed Enough Already!

Most Americans don't even realize how many kinds of taxes they pay.  Before reading the rest of this article, try to estimate how many different kinds of taxes that Americans pay each year.  Five?  Ten?  Twenty?  Well, below we have listed over 50 different kinds of taxes that Americans pay.  It is no wonder the Tea Party movement is growing so fast!
"We Are Being Taxed Enough Already!"

When you add all the taxes together, a significant percentage of Americans end up paying well over 50 percent of their income in taxes of one form or another.

And the list above does not even include all of the new taxes that are in the new health care law that was just rammed down the throats of the American people.

When you add up all the taxes in that bill, it amounts to the largest tax increase in the history of the United States.

The truth is that unless we vote out all of the Republicans and all of the Democrats that have been taxing us to death, they will keep right on doing it.

Medical Schools Can't Keep Up

clipped from online.wsj.com
[RESIDENCY]
The new federal health-care law has raised the stakes for hospitals and schools already scrambling to train more doctors.

Experts warn there won't be enough doctors to treat the millions of people newly insured under the law. At current graduation and training rates, the nation could face a shortage of as many as 150,000 doctors in the next 15 years, according to the Association of American Medical Colleges.

A shortage of primary-care and other physicians could mean more-limited access to health care and longer wait times for patients.

Doctors' groups and medical schools had hoped that the new health-care law, passed in March, would increase the number of funded residency slots, but such a provision didn't make it into the final bill.
