Gov. Perry: Feds Must Secure Borders, Deal With Illegals Already Here

Texas Republican Gov. Rick Perry describes the federal government’s commitment to securing the U.S. border with Mexico as “lacking and almost nonexistent." During a breakfast roundtable with reporters on Monday in Washington, D.C., he told Newsmax that he favors a two-pronged approach to immigration reform: border security first;
rick,perry,drug,cartels,mexico,border
then dealing with the millions of illegal immigrants who are already in the United States.
Perry was in the nation’s capital to promote his new book, "Fed Up! Our Fight to Save America from Washington." With a foreword written by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, the book makes the case for returning power to the states and to the American people through a constitutionally limited federal government.
The Constitution clearly does give some responsibilities to the federal government, Perry told Newsmax, adding: “Securing our borders is something they [the federal government] must do . . . Americans want to see that border secured and drug cartels pushed off that border.
“Then we can have a conversation about how we reform the immigration policies . . . I don't think the American people trust Congress to do them."

Driver's license changes taking effect

Real ID is here, and these poor people don't have a choice in the matter.
Joyce Williams stands in line with the newly required documentation she needs to renew her driver's license. This is her third try.

Driver's license changes taking effect

SOUTH SHORE - Anyone who walks into the Hillsborough County Tax Collector's Office to renew a driver's license is likely to find the requirements have changed quite a bit since their last trip.

Courtesy of the state's effort to comply with the federal Real ID Act, a number of original documents are now required to prove identity. For some, the documentation is simple: a Social Security card, birth certificate and two proofs of residency. For others, however, the list can also include marriage licenses and divorce decrees.
The Congressional act is designed to bolster national security, and Westberry said Real ID also protects people.

Immigration law and the truth behind it all

  • I would like to point out a few facts and hopefully I can get it all on this page about the immigration law Arizona is passing and the fight against it all.
To start it all off, President Bush came up with a United Nations Plan called Real ID.

Then Obama comes in with this so-called Change movement. After actually dedicating our Country to the United Nations Laws. He decides to go along with the same plans. He did however Change the name at least.

    Obama & Co. Want

A bipartisan group of U.S. Senators is teaming up with the Obama administration to legalize illegal immigrants and require biometric national ID cards for every American worker, prompting a swift and bipartisan backlash across the nation.

    National Biometric ID

"Our plan has four pillars: requiring biometric Social Security cards to ensure that illegal workers cannot get jobs; fulfilling and strengthening our commitments on border security and interior enforcement; creating a process for admitting temporary workers; and implementing a tough but fair path to legalization for those already here," wrote Graham and Schumer. "We would require all U.S. citizens and legal immigrants who want jobs to obtain a high-tech, fraud-proof Social Security card."
The national ID cards would include a "unique biometric identifier," according to Graham and Schumer. Some of the likely candidates include finger prints, retinal scans, or even the layout of a person's veins in the top of their hand. Employers who refuse to "swipe the card" would face "stiff fines" and "prison sentences," the Senators noted. "Our blueprint also creates a rational system for admitting lower-skilled workers," they added.

Yet they still seem to want to push this. All in the same plan that changed it's name from Real ID, to Pass ID, National ID, and Biometric ID. All named under the Obama Administration. To top it off. Digital Angel, Which has also been renamed several times. is joining in on all this as well. Now called Verichip. Also RFID tech which can be implanted into your skin. Note It is still very easy to hack into.

Now that you see all this, Back to the immigration status. This has been planned for a very long time now. Not just Bush, and Obama. But many others World wide.
If they open the borders be ready to be chipped one way or the other.
    Obama was called on this.

Be sure to see the links above, Now for the truth. This has been going on for years and today is see very few people talking about this. Yet it is why the Borders need to be secured. But then again, I guess people don't care about America being attacked anymore. Watch these below.

  • There is so much more on this subject yet Nobody seems to want to talk about actually securing the borders from these very real threats. Notice that these from Iran, Pakistan, Iraq, Afgan and so on are not coming here to get a higher paying job. Nor are they here for a better life away from Mexican Government.
We have a Government pushing the fact to let these people in. An excuse for Real ID or now Biometric ID, Verichip now Positive ID.
    See here from this page.
    http://www.positiveidcorp.com/about-us.html
Arizona stopped this crazy plan to literally have everyone chipped. Either by card or implant. This is also the reason O's Administration is so mad.
Look up the NWO, Or New World Order. These are age old plans so harshly being pushed on we the people today.
I feel that even Mexico needs to wake up to this fact. They have already taken action on these cards and is in process today.
For them it is a way of life to be able to come here to work. On the other hand it is very dangerous to be letting Millions of terrorist in our borders everyday as well.
For Mexico. Be very aware of what these plans are. If you are coming here for freedom. You may want to think twice about getting any kind of card they are planning for force you to have.
If they are forcing it on us. They will force it on you as well.
The immigration law is NOT about Racial Profiling. Nobody is out to just pull you over and invade your homes. Just as we need papers to be a citizen and go to school. The same applies for everyone else. That is it.
Read the Bill for yourself and stop letting the Media lie to you.

Checks and Cash Slowly But Surely Disappearing

    clipped from spectrum.ieee.org

The Washington Post is reporting that the US Department of the Treasury will be announcing later today that most federal benefits payments from Social Security to Veteran disability checks will be made by electronic direct deposit beginning 1 March 2013. Businesses using Federal Tax Deposit Coupons will also need to go the electronic tax payment route.

The Treasury says that the move will save $400 million in processing, postage and paper over five years.

The Post story also says, "Americans who enroll on or after March 1, 2011, for benefits payments will receive them by direct deposit or be enrolled in the government's Direct Express Debit MasterCard program if they do not provide bank account information."

In related news, the London Telegraph reported last week that the UK Payment Council expects that cash will be used for less than half of all consumer transactions in the UK by 2015

Obama & Co. Want National Biometric ID

Schumer and GrahamA bipartisan group of U.S. Senators is teaming up with the Obama administration to legalize illegal immigrants and require biometric national ID cards for every American worker, prompting a swift and bipartisan backlash across the nation.

The proposal would unconstitutionally force nearly all Americans to obtain the new “tamper proof” Social Security cards while purporting to require that all employers purchase new $800 ID scanners. It would also provide a “path to citizenship” for the estimated 12 million to 20 million illegal immigrants currently living in America.
Citizens must unite to defeat this effort. If Obama and his allies like Senator Graham manage to force this monstrosity on the American people, the last remaining semblances of freedom will be in critical danger. Americans already said no to amnesty under former President George W. Bush. Why would adding an unconstitutional national ID scheme with biometric data make it any more desirable?

    Lawmakers Eyeing National ID Card

Passport USAImage by clappstar via Flickr

Daniel 7:25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand For a time and times and half a time.

Revelation 13:16-18 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,
and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

    clipped from www.wired.com

Lawmakers are proposing a national identification card — what they’re calling “high-tech, fraud-proof Social Security cards” — that would be required for all employees in the United States.

Graham, left, and Schumer, are calling for national ID cards to combat illegal immigration.

“We would require all U.S. citizens and legal immigrants who want jobs to obtain a high-tech, fraud-proof Social Security card. Each card’s unique biometric identifier would be stored only on the card; no government database would house everyone’s information,” they said. “The cards would not contain any private information, medical information or tracking devices. The card would be a high-tech version of the Social Security card that citizens already have.”

“Because of the ID card’s proposed universality, it will likely be requested and required by airlines, insurance agencies, health care providers, mortgage lenders, credit card companies, and so forth,” he said.

And this so-called mission creep is no fantasy.

Obama signs jobs bill, says more must be done

Official presidential portrait of Barack Obama...Image via Wikipedia

    clipped from news.yahoo.com

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama on Thursday signed into law a package of tax breaks and spending designed to give the nation a jobs boost by encouraging the private sector to start hiring again.

It's the first of several such measures Democrats have promised this election year to address the public's top worry: jobs. The measure includes about $18 billion in tax breaks and pumps $20 billion into highway and transit programs.

    Barack Obama

Under the new law, businesses that hire anyone unemployed for at least 60 days would be exempt from paying the 6.2 percent Social Security payroll tax through December. Employers also would get an additional $1,000 credit if new workers remain on the job a full year. Taxpayers will have to reimburse Social Security for the lost revenue.

The new law also extends a tax break for small businesses buying new equipment and modestly expands an initiative that helps state and local government pay for transportation and infrastructure projects.

Social Security to Start Cashing Uncle Sam's IOUs

    clipped from www.foxnews.com

This year, for the first time since the 1980s, when Congress last overhauled Social Security, the retirement program is projected to pay out more in benefits than it collects in taxes — nearly $29 billion more.

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. – The retirement nest egg of an entire generation is stashed away in this small town along the Ohio River: $2.5 trillion in IOUs from the federal government, payable to the Social Security Administration.

It's time to start cashing them in.

For more than two decades, Social Security collected more money in payroll taxes than it paid out in benefits — billions more each year.

"This is not just a wake-up call, this is it. We're here," said Mary Johnson, a policy analyst with The Senior Citizens League, an advocacy group. "We are not going to be able to put it off any more."

This RIDE May Be a Scary One

Bild des Scheckkartenführerscheines Österreich...Image via Wikipedia

Don't just tell me, show me. That seems to be the latest Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mantra as it seeks to turn more American employers into federal immigration officers. The newest tentacle on this well-fed octopus is a partnership between United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA).

RIDE's premise is very simple. In addition to verifying a person's eligibility to work in the U.S. by tapping into the Social Security database, participating employers may now punch a few more numbers to help them determine if the applicant's face matches DMV's records and if the driver's license or ID is being used fraudulently. DHS is quick to add that this program has nothing to do with the Real ID Act of 2005.

Every one of the 50 states is free to adopt the system or ignore it. So far, only Arizona has agreed to participate. California has said no thank you, for now. This voluntary program,

Senate rejects $250 checks for elderly

    clipped from news.yahoo.com

    WASHINGTON (Reuters) –
A measure to give some 57 million elderly people, veterans and persons with disabilities a $250 check was rejected by the Senate on Wednesday, a setback for the powerful seniors' lobby.

President Barack Obama has called for Congress to approve the payments to make up for their benefits not increasing this year, but the Senate defeated it 50 to 47.

The payments would have added $13 billion to a $108 billion job-creation package pending in the Senate.

Congress approved payments last year as part of the $862 billion stimulus package.

Social Security payments for the elderly and disabled will stay flat this year for the first time since 1975 because they are tied to consumer prices, which decreased amid the worst economic recession in 70 years.

"It is wrong to turn our backs on seniors in this moment of economic difficulty," said Independent Senator Bernie Sanders, who sponsored the amendment.

Obama sets up deficit panel without help from Hill

Official presidential portrait of Barack Obama...Image via Wikipedia

    clipped from news.yahoo.com

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama signed an order Thursday unilaterally creating a bipartisan commission to rein in unruly deficits after Congress rejected a similar body with considerably more enforcement power.

The federal deficit hit a record $1.4 trillion last year and could grow larger this year as the struggling economy puts a big dent in tax collections.

But the executive commission is a weak substitute for what the president really wanted: a panel created by Congress that could force lawmakers to consider unpopular remedies to reduce the debt, including curbing politically sensitive entitlements like Social Security and Medicare.

Though Obama's commission will lack any requirement for Congress to act on its advice, it could provide the president some political cover with an electorate that is increasingly concerned about the massive deficit. And that has some Republicans looking to paint the executive commission as little more than a political calculation.
