Televangelist Juanita Bynum Christians Debate on Tongues Prayer on Facebook

A typical Western image of the Pentecost. Ducc...Image via WikipediaI found this to be a very interesting Story. Typing in Tongues? Whether or not it is possible remains to be seen. After all the Bible does tell us about every Idol word we say is held accountable.

The issue of Tongues have been going on for many, many years now. In fact, all the way back to time the Disciples were in the upper room praying shortly after The Christ (Messiah) was crucified and rose from the dead while hundreds of people watched.
Many Churches throughout history try very hard to avoid Tongues in Scripture. Probably because many just don't understand it.

Simply put it's just your Spirit talking with God Himself all through the Holy Spirit, (The Comforter) through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ himself. (Still don't make sense?) Its an easy way for men and women to talk with God in words that we in our own language cannot describe. Yes, mankind does not have words for everything. Especially when it comes to spiritual things.

As they continue on, This was asked

6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me[a] in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

The document continues on about what they were going through at this time, Many confused yet still waiting. Finally as the next chapter comes into play something happened. TONGUES?

When this happen many understood what they said while many others sat around saying they were all drunk and out of their minds.  (This has not changed in over 2000 years)

41 Then those who gladly[g] received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them.

Today, Many still do there best to poke fun at those who speak in Tongues. Many churches ban this from being in there Churches. While many others believe it of the Devil. I've seen many try to teach all this by jumping around the Bible instead of reading the entire chapters as a whole. I'm not quite sure how anyone can tell what a whole book says by reading a couple of sentences from it. Yet this is the way they teach while many follow. 

Read the full chapters here. I cannot say whether or not we can type in Tongues. But, with God? All things are possible. My own personal thoughts? I think it's awesome. I love meeting people who speak in Tongues. This makes it much to know they do even ONLINE. 

I don't condemn them for it. But I do find it very interesting to see in an online community that loves the try teach us there is no God. This goes to show. God's people will do what God calls them to do now matter what you have to say about it. I love it.

Pentecostal televangelist and self-professed prophetess Juanita Bynum has sparked curiosity among some Internet users and the Christian community for several comments on the minister's Facebook page where she appears to type "in tongues."

In a series of posts published on Aug. 17, on one of Bynum's many Facebook pages, the minister typed messages where it was believed by commenters and critics that the she was praying in tongues.

In the first message time stamped 3:57 p.m., it appeared that Juanita Bynum II, the account holder for the Facebook page, started praying for Zachery Tims, the Florida megachurch minister who was found dead in a New York City hotel room on Aug. 12:

GOD WE PRAY FOR THE DESTINY CHURCH FAMILY....WE PRAY FOR THE STRENGTH OF PASTOR RIVA TIMS....MIGHTY GOD...GIVE US STRENGTH.....WE ARE THE BODY THAT FEELS THIS PAIN.....WE ALL FEEL IT.....COVER THE MINDS OF HIS CHILDREN...GRAB THEM UP IN YOUR ARMS LORD JESUS......BE A COMFORT TO THEM.....YOU ARE THE MANY BREASTED ONE....

The prayer continued in a second post with the same time stamp:

YOU ARE THE ROCK AND THE SHIELD AND THE ANCHOR.......WARD OFF ALL THE VULCHERS...WHO WILL COME FOR GREEDY GAIN AND NOT BE CONCERNED ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO ARE HURTING IN THAT CHURCH......SEND THEM HELP FATHER...SEND THEM SPIRITUAL HELP THAT WOULD HELP TO HEAL THEM AND RESTORE THEIR LEGS IN YOU GOD!!!!!

In the third post, published about a minute later, the "tongues" text started to appear:

Several prayer posts with intelligible spellings continued to appear and visitors to Bynum's Facebook page began questioning the text.
Bynum's prayer posts soon caught the attention of the media, with one reporter at a spirituality and faith website speculating that the minister was communicating "in tongues."

On one prayer post, visitor Cindy McCraw commented, expressing her agreement.
"I believe it's tongues (holy spirit). It's called praying in the Spirit," McCraw wrote.
Another visitor to the page expressed disbelief.
"Are you typing tongues? Or are my eyes playing tricks on me," questioned Damita Stargell.

Since the prayer posts have appeared, visitors have been debating whether it was possible for a Christian to write or type in tongues, since the Bible only depicts those inspired by the Holy Spirit speaking in tongues.

The shocking figures revealed at the “International Conference on Inter-religious dialogue between Christians, Jews and Muslims,” held in Hungary, show that a Christian is killed every five minutes somewhere in the world because of their faith.
Massimo Introvigne, representative of the OSCE (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) on Combating Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians, added that these figures did not include the victims of civil wars, or wars between nations, but only the people put to death because they are Christians.
According to the “Catholic Culture” publication, Introvigne said, “If these figures are not cried out to the world, if this massacre is not stopped, if it is not recognized that the persecution against Christians is the first worldwide emergency with regard to religious discrimination and violence, dialogue between religions will only produce wonderful symposia but no concrete results.”
Metropolitan Hilarion, who is the foreign minister of the Russian Orthodox Church, highlighted to the delegates that of the Christians being persecuted every year “at least one million” were children.

Got your permit to study the Bible?

As they murdered the Christians for believing in Jesus Christ instead of following Roman Catholics Doctrines. As Christians in America. This should be fought. Question is will they?

Recently, a California pastor and his wife were required by San Diego County officials to obtain a permit to hold a Bible study in their home.
"What?! Is this a joke?" I wondered as I heard the news for the first time. It was no joke. Rather it's a First Amendment nightmare and possibly a precedent of what's to come.
Are you prepared for a future in which you might someday hear the question, "Got your permit to study the Bible?"
On April 10 (Good Friday), a county code enforcement officer visited the home of David and Mary Jones after receiving a complaint about their Christian gatherings. The Jones' attorney Dean Broyles, president of The Western Center for Law & Policy, conveyed in disbelief, "The county asked [Mrs. Jones], 'Do you have a regular meeting in your home?' She said, 'Yes.' 'Do you say amen?' 'Yes.' 'Do you pray?' 'Yes.' 'Do you say praise the Lord?' 'Yes.'"
The officer then warned the family to "cease and desist" the "religious assemblies" or they would face fines up to $1,000 weekly (or more). Two days later, the county delivered a citation claiming that the Joneses were guilty of "unlawful use of land," mandating them to "stop religious assembly or apply for a major use permit."
At first I thought, "They must have a large congregation meeting in their home to warrant this type of citation and prompt this type of commotion," right? Actually, according to their lawyer, the Joneses have been hosting weekly Bible studies in their home for about five years with an average attendance of only about 15 people.
Attorney Broyles appropriately responded, "If the county thinks they can shut down groups of 10 or 15 Christians meeting in a home, what about people who meet regularly at home for poker night? What about people who meet for Tupperware parties? What about people who are meeting to watch baseball games on a regular basis and support the Chargers?"

Flashback Arab Festival 2009: Sharia in the US

What is Sharia law like? You may want to learn. Just to think if these people were in another Country they would have been beheaded for what they did here. Simply just taping how they are.

This is a video of Nabeel Qureshi and David Wood asking questions at Arabfest, Dearborn. The date is June 21st, 2009. There was a booth at the festival which had a banner titled "Islam: Got Questions? Get Answers." From their table, we picked up a pamphlet claiming that Islam promotes peace. We noticed that it was full of poor logic and errors, so we decided to make a video refuting it. We went to the booth that gave us the pamphlet to give them the opportunity to defend their claims. Security, however, stepped in and forced us to turn off our camera.

We left the booth, received advice from police, and found out that the actions of the security guards were illegal. We went back to the booth to record a potential answer again. Realizing that the Muslims present had no answer, we left.

When we came outside, we were asked some questions by two young men, who had been sent by security to entrap us. While we responded to them, festival security started assaulting us, as you will see in this video. The conclusion of this video is a mob of festival security attacking our cameras, pushing us back, kicking our legs, and lying to the police.

We ask you, is it a coincidence that the city with the highest percentage of Muslims in the United States is the city where Christianity is not allowed to be represented (let alone preached) on a public sidewalk? Is it coincidence that in this city, people will say "No way!" when we say "This is the United States of America"?

Is this what will happen when Islam takes over the United States?

1st Amendment protects military funeral protesters

Shirley Roper-Phelps, a prominent member of th...Image via WikipediaI normally don't post stuff like this, but in this case I just had to say something. On one had I'm glad to see the courts actually standing up for the Constitution for the first time in what seems a very long time now.
On the other hand, the Westboro Baptist Church in this case have got to be doing one of the stupidest things I have ever seen a Church do.

Their signs DO NOT reflect Christianity in any way shape or form. Nor, do they reflect anything that has to do with Christ and their actions are far from doing anything that has anything to do with the Bible itself.

These people disgust me. they make me sick and I cannot believe they actually have the guts to call themselves Christian.


Here they live under the same banner of the United States of America, Protesting the very people who are protect their rights to do what they are doing. I would love to see how far they would make it doing this in any other Country other then the U.S.A.

Knowing many soldiers out there Fighting and more that have returned myself. I feel the need to share to them again. These people DO NOT reflect Christianity. As a Christian I will say this to the soldiers out there. Ignore these people. God Loves you no matter what you have done out there. Jesus died for those terrible things WE ALL have done. So that we may choose Him and be able to go Home. When He rose from the dead, He now has that power to remove all sin for us to do so. Including you and them.

That said. The Westboro Baptist Church. Knock it off. Stop protesting funerals like a bunch of idiots. You are not reflecting Christ, or God or the Bible with any of your actions. It's people like you all that give Christianity a very bad name, and you wonder why people don't want to be saved?
THEY DON"T WANT TO TURN OUT LIKE YOU!

Is our Country in need of God? Yes. But, it has nothing to do with any sign these people are showing and being rude to the people who fight to protect the very thing they are out there doing.
To the Military, You Rock! I thank God and Pray for you all everyday.May God bless you all and help you through everything you have to face and go through.

WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court ruled Wednesday that the First Amendment protects fundamentalist church members who mount anti-gay protests outside military funerals, despite the pain they cause grieving families.
The court voted 8-1 in favor of the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kan. The decision upheld an appeals court ruling that threw out a $5 million judgment to the father of a dead Marine who sued church members after they picketed his son's funeral.
Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the opinion for the court. Justice Samuel Alito dissented.
Roberts said free speech rights in the First Amendment shield the funeral protesters, noting that they obeyed police directions and were 1,000 feet from the church.
"Speech is powerful. It can stir people to action, move them to tears of both joy and sorrow, and — as it did here — inflict great pain. On the facts before us, we cannot react to that pain by punishing the speaker," Roberts said. "As a nation we have chosen a different course — to protect even hurtful speech on public issues to ensure that we do not stifle public debate."
Alito strongly disagreed. "Our profound national commitment to free and open debate is not a license for the vicious verbal assault that occurred in this case," he said.
Matthew Snyder died in Iraq in 2006 and his body was returned to the United States for burial. Members of the Westboro Baptist Church, who have picketed military funerals for several years, decided to protest outside the Westminster, Md., church where his funeral was to be held.
The Rev. Fred Phelps and his family members who make up most of the Westboro Baptist Church have picketed many military funerals in their quest to draw attention to their incendiary view that U.S. deaths in Afghanistan and Iraq are God's punishment for the nation's tolerance of homosexuality.

Obama, "I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior"

All I can do is shake my head and wonder. If this is actually true, how in the world can he pass so many laws and push so many anti-biblical movements and organizations throughout the past 2 years?
So many times I have tried to understand how in the world can any man pass and push laws through to take away not just our Freedoms but our Rights given to us by the Forefathers of our great Nation.
Written in the Bible and the Constitution of the United States of America?

I'm not going to go into much detail on all this YET! Those who know Our Lord Jesus Christ, have seen what this man has done so far.
Though I pray for him daily still. I still have the Hope that somehow he may wake up and see what he has done. I know that God wishes no one to burn with satan. That includes Obama. Though I also know that the Antichrist can never be saved.
I can only hope and pray his words here might be true somehow and not just written on a piece of paper as he reads it here. If Obama is truly saved. We will be able to tell by the fruit that he bears forth.

In this case Mr. Obama. Your Actions the next 2 years will show us all how much of Jesus Christ is in you. I so want to see the Christ in you more than the Excutive, dictatorship orders you have been shoving among the American People.
In this speech, Obama says point blank. "I came to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior? Take the time as a Christian and see it for yourself.

Build on the Rock

28 And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, 29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

As much as I keep saying Obama could be one of the greatest Presidents ever. I find the only way that could ever happen now is to remove most of what he has done already and start living by the Actions Jesus Christ shows us all. As a leader of a Nation built on Christ Himself. Shouldn't we have more freedoms in schools, businesses, churches, parks and throughout the entire nations laws to help our society come back to Christ more than making it more being removed from all the above and more? Shouldn't God's own laws be a major priority as it was back when this Nation was started?
What's worse is since Obama has taken office. We find Islam having much more freedoms of Religion that More Christians loosing all freedoms. If this is true. Stop covering up Christ because islam might be offended. Start reading not just the Old Testament but the New as well.

Know this Mr. Obama. I will continue to pray for you. It's up to God and yourself to really begin to act on it. We can hope and pray that you are really listening to Christ and not just acting like you are.

NAIROBI, Kenya (CDN) - A 17-year-old girl in Somalia who converted to Christianity from Islam was shot to death last week in an apparent “honor killing,” area sources said.
Nurta Mohamed Farah, who had fled her village of Bardher, Gedo Region to Galgadud Region to live with relatives after her parents tortured her for leaving Islam, died on Nov. 25. Area sources said they strongly suspected that the two unidentified men in Galgadud Region who shot her in the chest and head with a pistol were relatives or acting on their behest.
“Reports reached the relatives in Galgadud that Nurta Farah had converted to Christianity,” one source said. “The suspicion that the family is responsible is a solid one. The sister was killed in Abudwaq, a district in Galgadud Region, and the place where the incident took place is about 200 meters from where the sister was staying with relatives.”
Relatives buried Farah, sources said. Her parents had severely beaten her for leaving Islam and regularly shackled her to a tree at their home, Christian sources said. She had been confined to her home in Gedo region in southern Somalia since May 10, when her family found out that she had embraced Christianity, said a Christian leader who visited the area.

LONDON – A new report from London-based theology think tank Theos has criticized attempts to restrict the influence of religious beliefs on education.

"Doing God in Education" is authored by Professor Trevor Cooling, director of the National Institute for Christian Education Research at Canterbury Christ Church University.
He calls attempts to ban religious faith from shaping education misguided and harmful.
In particular, he challenges the prevailing assumption that education should be based on human knowledge and rationality because they are objective and independent of the “clutter” of religious beliefs.
Professor Cooling warns that such a position only privileges secular worldviews and so-called “commonsense” values in the classroom.
“The problem with this position is its dependence on the particular humanist belief that religion is ‘clutter’ when it comes to knowledge. It is not therefore fair or inclusive to base public education on this approach because it unjustifiably privileges a secular view of knowledge,” he states.

I want to begin with a verse that so many seem to skip today. As Jesus knew it was time to go, he made sure to prepare those who follow Him.

Luke 22 35 And He said to them, “When I sent you without money bag, knapsack, and sandals, did you lack anything?”
So they said, “Nothing.”
36 Then He said to them, “But now, he who has a money bag, let him take it, and likewise a knapsack; and he who has no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one. 37 For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For the things concerning Me have an end.”
38 So they said, “Lord, look, here are two swords.”
And He said to them, “It is enough.”

In this part I want to point out mainly just one of the major issues that follow all of Socialism. Besides Abortions, Food control by governments, taking from those who work for a living and saying it's all for the greater good of all mankind. This list goes on and on.

Pastor Yanked From Capitol Over 'Jesus' Prayer

A North Carolina pastor was relieved of his duties as an honorary chaplain of the state house of representatives after he closed a prayer by invoking the name of Jesus.
“I got fired,” said Ron Baity, pastor of Berean Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. He had been invited to lead prayer for an entire week but his tenure was cut short when he refused to remove the name Jesus from his invocation.
Baity’s troubles began during the week of May 31. He said a House clerk asked to see his prayer. The invocation including prayers for our military, state lawmakers and a petition to God asking him to bless North Carolina.”
“When I handed it to the lady, I watched her eyes and they immediately went right to the bottom of the page and the word Jesus,” he told FOX News Radio. “She said ‘We would prefer that you not use the name Jesus. We have some people here that can be offended.’”
