Sideshow; over Obamas legitimacy continues for some - CNN.com

One day after President Obama released his long-form birth certificate -- to end what he called a distraction of "sideshows" and "carnival barkers" -- some still question his eligibility to serve in the White House.
To be sure, some "birthers" have said that doubts about the president's birthplace are now over. But others are moving on to new conspiracy theories.
Now they're asking: Where are the president's college records, transcripts and financial statements? Where are his passport records? Why isn't information about his law license, or his parents' marriage and divorce, being made public? Was he adopted by his stepfather in Indonesia, negating his "natural-born citizen" status?
And, perhaps most unusually, some are now saying that the birth certificate still does not confirm that the president is eligible to serve in the White House.

"The key thing is not whether or not he was even born in Hawaii, but is he a natural-born citizen according to constitutional standards," Ciavolino told CNN.
"The concept of a natural-born citizen, as laid out in the Constitution, has not been well-defined by the courts at all," he said. Ciavolino questions if the president having an African father and American mother allows him to be president.
The 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution vaguely says that only "natural-born" citizens can become president. But some legal experts say Obama, under accepted legal understanding of the clause, is absolutely a natural-born citizen.

President Obama said yesterday that he released his long form birth certificate because he didn’t want the issue to obscure high minded debate. Of course, White House Dossier and its intelligent readers all know that this is cannot possibly be the case.
So I gathered a team of my best reporters and ordered them to find out the real reasons why Obama released the certificate. After exhaustive interviews with sources in the White House, on Capitol Hill, and in Hawaii, they reported back the top ten true reasons Obama put the certificate out.
They are as follows:
1. Needed it to try out for the 2012 U.S. Olympic team.
2. Kenya was preparing to open an “Obama Birthplace” tourist attraction.
3. Thought it might prove he is the Messiah.
4. It was actually Biden who requested it.
5. Even Michelle was starting to wonder.
6. It’s required for selection to the Hawaii Hall of Fame.

Donald Trump Scores an Important Victory... Over the Media

Donald Trump is a shameless self-promoter. His prowess as a developer and businessman has been greatly exaggerated. He has crawled around in the muck and mire of what now passes for popular culture, and deserves at least some of the blame for tawdry's victory over grace in that sphere. He is an outsized egotist (about on a par with Obama) whose passion for self-congratulation is the only reliable thing we know about him. And that his future candidacy for president may soon be taken seriously owes to no one so much as it does Barack Obama, whose own candidacy seriously eroded the standards for presidential qualification.

But Trump has achieved something important. His decision to focus like a laser on Obama's failure to produce a birth certificate has highlighted the absolute corruption of the American media on the subject of Obama, and the dangers of power granted in the absence of an unaligned press.
Given that Obama's primary claim to the presidency has been his compelling life story -- his biracialism, his international upbringing, especially the time he spent in Muslim lands -- the media has shown shockingly little interest in several pieces of information about Obama's life which might legitimately concern voters. Nowhere in his biographies, for example, does Obama mention his 1981 trip to Pakistan, where he stayed with influential political leaders from that country at a time when a State Department advisory warned U.S. citizens against travel to Pakistan. There has also been a strange disinterest in Obama's 2006 trip to Kenya where, as a sitting U.S. senator, Obama criticized the incumbent government (a U.S. ally) and barnstormed with a Marxist candidate he supported. So too, there has been nary a peep among media elites over Obama's funding of the radical "education" work of bomb thrower Bill Ayers, or his own work on behalf of the activist group ACORN, the now defunct largest purveyor of voter registration fraud in American history (and, apparently, an enabler of under aged prostitution.).

“Three weeks ago when I started, I thought he was probably born in this country,” Trump, who is very publicly mulling his own run for the Republican nomination for president in 2012, told TODAY’s Meredith Vieira. “Right now, I have some real doubts.”
In a wide-ranging interview that aired Thursday, Trump said he is not convinced that the birth certificate that Obama has produced, certified by the state of Hawaii where Obama was born and acknowledged as legitimate by most scholars, is enough proof. He says he has dispatched his own investigators to Hawaii. “I have people that actually have been studying it and they cannot believe what they’re finding,” he said.
“His grandmother in Kenya said he was born in Kenya, and she was there and witnessed the birth. He doesn’t have a birth certificate or he hasn’t shown it,” Trump told Vieira. “He has what’s called a certificate of live birth. That is something that’s easy to get. When you want a birth certificate, it’s hard to get.”
Each state is responsible for issuing its own birth certificates and the state of Hawaii, which issued Obama’s, stands behind it. In many states, this document is referred to as the certificate of live birth. Independent analysts have also confirmed the authenticity of Obama’s birth certificate. Several leading Republicans, including Karl Rove, have dismissed the controversy. Glenn Beck, the conservative television and radio personality, last week accused Trump of taking the birth certificate issue too far. But the so-called “birther movement” has continued to raise questions about the president’s birth. And Trump has enthusiastically joined them.

As so many people have followed the SEIU's claims that its all about race. I would like to show you all what it is really about. Watch these videos and see how much things are being misused and on Tax payers money.
Also, the American People who are citizens have less of a chance to get any help in this Country that what is for some of these that have no citizenship whatsoever.
I've worked hard in the past paying into these services. When I lost work I am all of sudden not eligible.The number 1 reason for being ineligible? Because We Are Married!
No joke, This is exactly what we were told time and time again. We might qualify if my wife was to leave me though. Now answer me this. Why is it so easy for them. Non Citizens, But those of us born here cannot get any help even though we pay for it?

And where is the multi-millionaire Obama in all this? His Aunt, whom he spoke lovingly about in his book, STILL does not work, STILL receives disability, still claims to have "no money".

Finally, during the week of 14-18th of January 2010, just on the eve of my
winter tour to the US, Rachel picked up a Nile TV broadcast in which Egyptian
Foreign Minister Abul Gheit said on the "Round Table Show" that he had had a one
on one meeting with Obama who swore to him that he was a Moslem, the son of a
Moslem father and step-son of Moslem step-father, that his half-brothers in
Kenya were Moslems, and that he was loyal to the Moslem agenda. He asked that
the Moslem world show patience. Obama promised that once he overcame some
domestic American problems (Healthcare), that he would show the Moslem world

Adul Gheit claimed Obama told the Arabs to show patience. Obama
promised that once he overcame some domestic issues, like the Health
care reform, he would show the Muslim World how to deal with Israel.

DC Knows that Obama is Ineligible for Office

Note that the language which certifies that Barack Hussein Obama meets all constitutional qualifications is missing in the DNC documents filed in 49 of the 50 states. The certification of constitutional qualification for the office of president was filed only in Hawaii. That text is missing in the DNC certification filings for all other states.

Whereas the RNC filed the exact same certification document, including the constitutional text for John McCain in all 50 states, Obama was technically certified in only one state, Hawaii. A mere inconvenient technicality, I’m sure…

Members from all three branches of the Federal government already know that Barack Hussein Obama is ineligible for the office of President. National leaders, to include members of the US Supreme Court, already know that Barack Hussein Obama is not a “natural born citizen” of the United States of America, and therefore, is ineligible for the office he currently holds. What they don’t know is how long it will take for most Americans to figure it out, or what to do about it.

Michelle Obama states that Kenya is Barack’s “home country.” She knows, after twenty years with Barack. The Ambassador or Kenya has confirmed the same His family friends all know it, and are in fact quite proud of the fact that Americans had no hesitation in electing a “black man from Kenya” as President of the United States.

A number of citizens have already been arrested and jailed for asking these questions.

A Kenyan lawmaker told the nation's parliament last month that Barack Obama was born in Africa and is therefore "not even a native American."

During debate over the draft of a new Kenyan constitution, James Orengo, the country's minister of lands and a member of parliament for the Ugenya constituency, cited America's election of a Kenyan-born president as an example of what can be accomplished when diverse peoples unite:

"If America was living in a situation where they feared ethnicity and did not see itself as a multiparty state or nation," Orengo posited, "how could a young man born here in Kenya, who is not even a native American, become the president of America?"

Orengo held up the U.S. as a country no longer "living in the past," since Americans elected a Kenyan-born president without regard to "ethnic consideration and objectives."

Warships blasting Somali pirates out of water

NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) — An international fleet of warships is attacking and destroying Somali pirate vessels closer to the shores of East Africa and the new strategy, combined with more aggressive confrontations further out to sea, has dealt the brigands a setback, officials and experts said Thursday.

The new tactics by the European Union naval force comes after Spain— which currently holds the EU's rotating presidency, and whose fishing vessels are frequent pirate targets — encouraged more aggressive pursuit of pirates and the coalition obtained more aircraft and other military assets, said Rear Adm. Peter Hudson, the force commander.

The EU Naval Force attacked 12 groups of pirate vessels, which normally includes several skiffs and a mother vessel, this month, more than last year. Half of those attacks were on the high seas and half close to shore, reflecting the new strategy to intercept pirates before they reach deep water and international shipping lanes.

Somali Islamists ban UN food from rebel-held areas

NAIROBI, Kenya – An extremist Islamic group is blocking food deliveries to hundreds of thousands of hungry Somalis, officials said Monday, after the militants accused aid agencies of secretly supporting those who have renounced Islam.

Britain also said Monday it will ban Somalia's most dangerous extremist Islamic group, al-Shabab, an action already taken by the U.S. State Department in 2008 when it designated the group a terrorist organization. Al-Shabab is believed to have links with al-Qaida.

On Sunday, al-Shabab said it would prohibit the U.N.'s World Food Program from distributing food in areas under its control because it says the food undercuts farmers selling recently harvested crops.

It also accused the agency of handing out food unfit for human consumption and of secretly supporting "apostates," or those who have renounced Islam.

The U.S. and other governments have been talking about how to ensure that does not happen

She and other family members were not immediately aware that he had been killed. “We waited for him that day, but he did not turn up,” said Hassan, who has since fled to Nairobi. “The following day, on Jan. 2, I was informed by the fellowship that my husband had been killed.” Ali led an underground church. Christian sources said members of al Shabaab, said to have links with al Qaeda terrorists, had been monitoring Ali and his wife for indications that they had left Islam. Al Shabaab extremists killed him after word of the planned party leaked to them, Hassan said. Article II, Section 1 of the founding document, as it’s pretty clear on eligibility for the nation’s top executive position:

“No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.”
