Congress borrowed $1 trillion to for a so-called stimulus bill. You remember, the stimulus that was going to save our economy and we needed to pass it right away or the economy will collapse.
Not surprisingly, all the stimulus did was save Federal and State employees jobs, and not much more. Via Power Line:
Our benchmark results suggest that the ARRA created/saved approximately 450 thousand state and local government jobs and destroyed/forestalled roughly one million private sector jobs. State and local government jobs were saved because ARRA funds were largely used to offset state revenue shortfalls and Medicaid increases rather than boost private sector employment. The majority of destroyed/forestalled jobs were in growth industries including health, education, professional and business services.

As each day passes lately, I'm finding myself slowing down on the news articles here. Mostly because I'm having such a hard time wanting to post these with the Scriptures told thousands of years ago in the Bible.
Global Government, is yet another huge step in this same area that totally follows precisely with what so many Prophets throughout the Bible have spoke of.
Many try to claim well we have heard all before and we are still here. This goes to show they have been warned because it is told it would happen and somebody actually taught them the Bible at some point in there lifetime. Now if they actually paid any attention to it. They would see that it if finally happening right now.

Vice-President Hamid Ansari on Monday said it is imperative to restructure institutions of global governance in view of the interlinked, economic and financial, security, and environmental threats emerging sharply in the recent times, which impact the capacity of players on the global stage.
Speaking here on the theme "Challenges of Global Governance in the 21st century"
Ansari said that he intended to refer to "the overlapping, even interlinked, economic and financial, security, and environmental threats that have emerged so sharply in the past year or so. They are interlinked and impact the capacity of players on the global stage."
"They also reflect on national and global governance, demonstrate the limitations of national governance and the inadequacy of existing global mechanisms," he said.
Global Governance is today understood as a minimum acceptable framework of norms, principles and rules needed to tackle global problems and achieve global objectives

Those who just sit back and ignore this will usually say, oh yeah there go the conspiracies again, and won't take the to time watch this. They go on in there little brainwashed mind set and ignore the world around them.
I feel sorry for people like this. They are in the middle of it and don't even know it.

I am confident that Arizona’s utilities would be happy to take those electrons off your hands. If, however, you find that the City Council lacks the strength of its convictions to turn off the lights in Los Angeles and boycott Arizona power, please reconsider the wisdom of attempting to harm Arizona’s economy.
An Arizona utility commissioner said he's willing to pull the plug on Los Angeles if the city goes through with a boycott of his state.
In a letter to the city of LA, a member of Arizona's power commission said he would ask Arizona utility companies to cut off the power supply to Los Angeles. LA gets about 25 percent of its power from Arizona.
The commissioner's power grid play is in response to the city's approval of a resolution directing city staff to consider which contracts with Arizona can be terminated.
If an economic boycott is truly what you desire, I will be happy to encourage Arizona utilities to renegotiate your power agreements so Los Angeles no longer receives any power from Arizona-based generation.
On Tuesday, Berkeley became the latest California city to boycott Arizona. The City Council voted unanimously to restrict staff from traveling to the state on city business.
Americans who wanted to fulfill their "California dreams". But those days are long gone. Now, the state of California has become an economic nightmare. In fact, many would argue that California has now become the epicenter of the economic collapse of the United States. Everything that once made California great is now being swamped by a tidal wave of unemployment, foreclosures, crime, budget cuts, traffic, taxes and natural disasters. There is a reason why every year now many more people leave the state of California than move into it. The state of California is suffering a slow economic death, and if something is not done it could end up being one of the biggest financial disasters in history.
The economic crisis of the past several years has hit California so incredibly hard that it is hard to describe. According to the U.S. Labor Department, the unemployment picture in the state continues to deteriorate, with an overall unemployment rate of 12.5 percent in January.

Is the United States experiencing an "economic crisis" or an "economic consolidation"? Did the financial problems of the last several years "happen on their own", or are they part of a broader plan to consolidate financial power in the United States? During that era, the big financial powers cut off the flow of credit, hoarded cash and reduced the money supply. Suddenly nobody had any money and the economy tanked. The big financial powers were then able to swoop back in and buy up valuable assets and real estate for pennies on the dollar. So are there signs that such a financial consolidation is happening again?
But now the big financial powers are reducing their lending, hoarding cash and shrinking the money supply.
The real estate market will continue to suffer because banks are raising their standards and are lending less money.

“We’re in serious trouble and it falls to us to get the nation back on track. This march is a wake-up call to everyone in Washington that the American people won’t be ignored any longer,” said Mr. Hoagland.
Though sponsored by Americans for Fair Taxation, the Online Tax Revolt is neutral on tax policy It is open to all who are fed up and want real tax reform.
It said that "Strive", the Environmental Protection Agency/Economic and Social Research Institute report published last week, shows the impact of the tax varies from €25 per household per year (inner city) to €275 in some rural areas.
Mr Downey said the €330 million that the carbon tax siphons out of the economy will be at the expense of jobs, as companies introduce cuts to meet the bill.

President Barack Obama's top economic advisers offered a cautious forecast on Thursday that U.S. job gains for 2010 will average 95,000 a month, with analysts expecting hiring to expand by spring.
"These job projections are very reasonable, but they are also very disappointing since they imply the unemployment rate will remain very high for a very long time," said Larry Mishel, the president of the Economic Policy Institute, a liberal research group. "This is because we need to create at least 100,000 jobs each month in order to absorb new workers and keep the unemployment rate from rising. It suggests that policy is not being aggressive enough to drive down unemployment."
Another reason for a continued high unemployment rate, the council report said, is the huge jump in productivity - worker per-hour output. Companies are doing more with fewer workers. Given their uncertainty about the future, employers are likely to remain cautious about hiring.
