Hamas Summer Camps Train Next Generation Terrorists

Israeli woman injured from Hamas Grad rocket f...Image via Wikipediahttp://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/144850
Hamas is reporting record turnouts for its summer camps for children in 2011.
The 'summer camps,' combining Islamic indoctrination, paramilitary training, and social activities are set to begin again this year as United Nation’s summer camps, considered competition by Hamas, are being openly denigrated by jihadistsChildren and adolescents are an important target demographic for Hamas, from which its future army of terrorists will be recruited. Summer camps are an important means for indoctrinating Gaza's youth with Hamas' jihadist ideology.
In 2010 Hamas ran camps for an estimated 100,000 campers, a number similar to 2009. The Islamic Jihad terror group ran 51 camps with 10,000 participating boys and girls.
Hamas spokesman Ismail Radwan reported the objectives of the camps were to raise a generation of children with 'genuine Islamic values.'
"Children working for the interests of their homeland and to educate them to the culture of the Islamic faith so they will remember their goals, including Jerusalem and the prisoners," Radwan said
In addition to indoctrination, Hamas terrorists give children paramilitary training. Banners are hung on the walls with slogans extolling jihad and 'death for the sake of Allah.'

Does Obama Think Jerusalem is Outside Israel?

Jerusalem on the mapImage via Wikipediahttp://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/144430
The United States State Department is standing behind the wording of an official statement that implied that Jerusalem – including its western parts - is not a part of Israel. Against the backdrop of President Barack Obama's speech calling on Israel to return to the 1949 Armistice lines, the statement's implications appear more alarming.
The May 18 statement was cited in a Weekly Standard column by Eliot Abrams, a former foreign policy advisor for presidents Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush.
Abrams wrote:
“In what country is the Knesset?… [I]t seems that this question has stumped the State Department. It does not know or will not say what country the Knesset is in, nor—one must assume—does it know what country the Prime Minister’s Office, the Israel Museum, or especially the Western Wall are in.
He quotes a “remarkable” press release from the State Department about the travels of Deputy Secretary James Steinberg, which says:
Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg visits Israel, Jerusalem and the West Bank [our emphasis, ed.] May 18-19, 2011. In Israel, Deputy Secretary Steinberg met with Israeli academic and student leaders. In the West Bank, he met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and other Palestinian officials. Among other issues, he discussed moving forward on Middle East peace as well as the recent fundamental changes in the region and the United States’ response to them.  On May 19, he will participate in the U.S.-Israel Strategic Dialogue. The Strategic Dialogue allows senior U.S. and Israeli leaders to discuss, on a regular basis and in depth, the many issues that affect our mutual security and partnership.
The wording of the statement seems to imply that Jerusalem is outside Israel. Since Steinberg’s visit included a meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon in the Foreign Ministry, which is in western Jerusalem,  the implication seems to be that western Jerusalem, too, is separate from Israel.
“I suppose the poor benighted Israelis believed they were hosting Steinberg in their country when he visited government offices,” Abrams wrote sarcastically. “But he knew better.  What makes this especially egregious is that Israeli government offices—where Mr. Steinberg would have had his official meetings—are actually in west Jerusalem, the portion Israel controlled even before 1967. Yet the Clinton State Department is apparently unwilling to call even that portion of the city ‘Israel.’”

Obama Insists Israel Withdraw to Fantasyland and Netanyahu Objects

Map of Israel, the Palestinian territories (We...Image via Wikipediahttp://www.whitehousedossier.com/2011/05/19/obama-insists-israel-withdraw-fantasyland
Sometimes I get the impression with President Obama that his wishes and plans steam forward in one lane, while reality marches along in another altogether separate one.
We see this, for example, on the budget deficit, where the president notes the peril it poses, and then goes right ahead and throws around billions in “emergency” stimulus money that take years to dole out. Or adds a trillion dollars in new spending to make his health care dream a reality.
And we saw it again today, in Obama’s latest Middle East Big Think speech.
Despite the coming new regime in the Palestinian Authority, which will include Hamas, Obama has gone along his merry way and made a key concession to the Palestinians, as if Israel’s peril had some how lessened rather than grown.
By making it U.S. policy that the 1967 borders are the STARTING POINT for negotiations, Obama put Israel on the defensive in its fight for security and for its cultural – and the Christian cultural – heritage in Jerusalem.
The statement overturns assurances by George W. Bush to Israel in a 2004 letter that stated a return to the 1967 borders was in fact NOT the policy of the United States. This assurance was made in return for a concrete step, the withdrawal of Israel from Gaza. The concrete step cannot be reversed. The assurance could be reversed by an unreliable ally. Today, it was.
It was a DEAL. A deal is a deal, right? Wrong.
Obama today said the status of Jerusalem is up for grabs. But by declaring as the starting point the 1967 border – under which the Old City portion of Jerusalem and its holy sites were in Arab hands – Israel now has give concessions to keep Jerusalem whole, not get concessions in return for giving it away. And as a practical matter, putting Old City Jerusalem in the hands of the Palestinians at the start of the negotiations means they will never relinquish it.
How well the Arabs will protect Jewish and Christian holy sites there is anyone’s guess.
And by the way, go to Google and take a look at a map of the 1967 borders.
http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Peace/borders.html

It doesn’t take some kind of Napoleonic military genius to figure out that the borders are completely indefensible. Israel, again, will have to bargain from a position of weakness – the ’67 borders – to “swap,” as Obama put it, enough of its land for West Bank land to find a marginally secure arrangement of territory.
Look at what the Gaza giveaway has gotten Israel. Missiles regularly lobbed deep into its territory and a funnel for terrorists and arms. What will happen when it releases the West Bank?
The Palestinians don’t want the West Bank. They want it all. They want Tel Aviv. The West Bank will be a ballast used for pushing the Jews into the sea.
Sure, Obama says the Palestinians will have to find a way to reassure Israel with Hamas now at the table. And he promises Israel secure borders. But these are nebulous words, negotiable stuff. The 1967 borders line he read today is policy.

The Good News is Netanyahu looks like he objects to this.

Netanyahu Objects to Obama's Backing of 1967 Borders

 http://www.newser.com/story/118982/benjamin-netanyahu-on-twitter-israel-pm-criticizes-president-obamas-mideast-speech.html
(Newser) – Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has tweeted its response to President Obama’s Middle East speech—and the prime minister isn’t happy with Obama’s support for a peace plan based on Israel’s 1967 borders. “The viability of a Palestinian state ... cannot come at the expense of the viability of the one and only Jewish state,” the office said in one of a series of tweets compiled by ABC's Political Punch blog. Another said Israel wants Obama to reaffirm a letter from George W. Bush in 2004 that did not call for a return to the 1967 borders.

Allen West: Obama's Recognition of Pre-1967 Borders 'Beginning of the End' for Jewish State

Conservatives led by Florida Republican Allen West Thursday were quick to blast President Barack Obama's game-changing recognition of a Palestinian state existing along Israel's pre-1967 borders — a decision that many described as an existential threat for the Jewish state.

"Today’s endorsement by President Barack Obama of the creation of a Hamas-led Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders, signals the most egregious foreign policy decision his administration has made to date, and could be the beginning of the end as we know it for the Jewish state," said West, R-Fla., one of the leading Tea Party thinkers in the House Republican freshman class," West said in a prepared statement.

"From the moment the modern day state of Israel declared statehood in 1948, to the end of the 1967 Six Day War, Jews were forbidden access to their holiest site, the Western Wall in Jerusalem’s Old City, controlled by Jordan’s Arab army.

"The pre-1967 borders endorsed by President Obama would deny millions of the world’s Jews access to their holiest site and force Israel to return the strategically important Golan Heights to Syria, a known state-sponsor of terrorism," said West, a career military veteran of the war in Iraq.

"Resorting to the pre-1967 borders would mean a full withdrawal by the Israelis from the West Bank and the Jewish neighborhoods of East Jerusalem. Make no mistake, there has always been a Nation of Israel and Jerusalem has been and must always be recognized as its rightful capital.

"In short, the Hamas-run Palestinian state envisioned by President Obama would be devastating to Israel and the world’s 13.3 million Jews. It would be a Pavlovian style reward to a declared Islamic terrorist organization, and an unacceptable policy initiative.

"America should never negotiate with the Palestinian Authority- which has aligned itself with Hamas. Palestine is a region, not a people or a modern state. Based upon Roman Emperor Hadrian's declaration in 73 AD, the original Palestinian people are the Jewish people.

Grave robber chase reveals ancient Holy Land church

Map of Israel, the Palestinian territories (We...Image via WikipediaNow this I found interesting. Here is a group trying to find ways to rip off grave and find yet more proof that everything in the Bible is not just true but very real in our History.
So many out there trying to claim its all make believe. One of those are the very people who found this. lol
http://www.vancouversun.com

Like many ancient structures, it was built on even older foundations dating back to the Roman Empire and the period of the second Jewish Temple. It includes a subterranean complex of caves and tunnels used by Jewish rebels fighting the Romans in the Bar Kokhba revolt of 132 AD.

JERUSALEM – The pursuit of a gang of grave robbers has led to the discovery of an ancient church outside Jerusalem that may contain the burial place of the biblical prophet Zechariah, Israeli authorities said Wednesday.
The hill-top church was destroyed by an earthquake some 1,300 years ago and lay partly buried until detectives from Israel's Antiquities Authority, pursuing a gang of antiquity thieves, noticed an elaborate doorpost poking through the earth. The robbers got away -- they were caught a few months later at a site nearby -- but after weeks of digging, archaeologists uncovered the remains of the church. It was about the size of a basketball court and contained fallen marble pillars and a nearly pristine 10-metre-long mosaic floor.
Beneath the church's altar is a burial chamber that the Antiquities Authority said may have been the tomb of the prophet Zechariah, known from the eponymous book in the Bible, written around 520 BC.
The claim, which a number of experts have based on Christian sources and an ancient diagram known as the Madaba Map, has not been proved and is still being studied, they said.
"It's been years since we've made a find like this," said Amir Ganor, head of the Antiquities Robbery Prevention unit.
Ganor is an archaeologist who carries a handgun. His team spends much of its time trying to catch thieves, spending nights lying in ambush or setting up stings for crooked antiquities dealers.
The thieves often vandalize or destroy archaeological remains before Ganor's unit can catch them.
But in this case, he said, a group of Palestinians from the West Bank who were plundering ancient coins revealed the location of the lost church, some 40 kilometres south of Jerusalem.

Rabbi calls for sacrifice on Temple Mount - Israel Jewish Scene, Ynetnews

South-west qanatir, Temple Mount, Jerusalem, I...Image via WikipediaIsn't it amazing to know that a Third World War could be started over a Sacrifice made on the same place it used to be held at? To see how the aggression that comes from Islam amazes me how we claim to have some kind of World Gov but only on small people like the tiny state of Israel. It goes to show Islam will go to war for anything they really don't have to have a reason, and its OK to the so called peace makers of the World? Seems the leaders of this world never advanced after High school.

http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4051918,00.html
The annual attempts to resume the Passover sacrifice received a first significant rabbinical backing recently. Safed's Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, a prominent religious Zionism leader, has called on the public to perform the sacrifice mitzvah on the eve of the Jewish holiday, in about two weeks.

Speaking during a Halacha lesson in Jerusalem last week, the rabbi warned that Jews evading the mitzvah were risking "Kareth" - a supernatural punishment for transgressing Jewish Law.

Full story
According to Rabbi Eliyahu, there is a halachic, legal and public possibility to offer a Passover sacrifice these days. During the lesson, he quoted senior rabbinical authorities, adding that Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Kalisher – one of the founders of modern and religious Zionism – had asked the Turkish sultan to allot an area on the Temple Mount for the erection of an altar for a Passover sacrifice.

The Safed rabbi went on to say that the Passover sacrifice could be slaughtered in front of the Dome of the Rock plaza, although the Temple no longer exists and the people of Israel are defined as "tameh met" (in a status of impurity which comes from contact with a dead body).

In order to overcome the greatest obstacle, beyond the political problem, an altar must be erected, the rabbi said. He also called for the preparation of "priesthood clothes", which are the only ones in which Kohanim (priests) can perform their work at the Temple.

Mission possible

Addressing the legal aspect, Rabbi Eliyahu claimed that every person has the right to perform the commandment of his religion according to his own understanding. He added that petitions filed with the High Court of Justice against the sacrifice were accepted only because the police were unprepared to secure the ceremony.

"It's perfectly clear that if the public pressures its representatives in the government or in the Knesset, everything will change. If the judges have ruled that the police must secure simpler protests, why not the Passover sacrifice?"

Eliyahu rejected the claim that it was impossible to resume the mitzvah publicly. Addressing the international diplomatic ramifications, he said, "We are being threatened that any movement on our part on the Temple Mount will launch the third world war… (But) we can free our souls of the horror of the gentiles, just like we freed ourselves before the Exodus."

After attack on Jews, Obama gives condolences to Palestinians

A map of the Gaza StripImage via WikipediaAt first, I thought maybe he just don't know what's going on. Then I thought maybe he's doing it on purpose. Now? I think it's official. He's an idiot.

http://www.wnd.com/?pageId=278641
JERUSALEM – President Obama's official statement on today's bombing at a crowded bus stop in Jerusalem included a clause expressing his "deepest condolences for the deaths of Palestinian civilians in Gaza yesterday."
The statement seems to draw a moral equivalence between today's attack in Jerusalem, in which Jewish civilians were targeted, and the death of four Palestinian civilians who were killed in an Israel Defense Force strike targeting a site used yesterday by militants in Gaza to launch mortars at nearby Jewish population centers.
Gazan terrorist groups routinely use civilian zones, including apartment buildings and hospitals, to launch rockets and mortars aimed at Jewish neighborhoods near the Gaza Strip.
The IDF said in a statement the army here believed it was targeting a terrorist rocket team and did not know civilians were in the area.
A 59-year-old woman was killed in today's blast in Jerusalem, with at least 38 people wounded in attack.
(Story continues below)
The full White House statement from Obama following today's bombing read: "I condemn in the strongest possible terms the bombing in Jerusalem today, as well as the rockets and mortars fired from Gaza in recent days. Together with the American people, I offer my deepest condolences for those injured or killed.
Continued the statement: "There is never any possible justification for terrorism. The United States calls on the groups responsible to end these attacks at once and we underscore that Israel, like all nations, has a right to self-defense.
"We also express our deepest condolences for the deaths of Palestinian civilians in Gaza yesterday. We stress the importance of calm and urge all parties to do everything in their power to prevent further violence and civilian casualties."

South under fire: While Jerusalem residents are recovering from Wednesday's terror attack, at least five mortar shells were fired from the northern Gaza Strip at southern Israel.
Sappers who examined the shells said some of them contained phosphorus, which is banned for use by international law. Officials are also looking into the possibility that a Qassam rocket was fired as part of the barrage.
No injuries or damages were reported in the attack.

'Netanyahu has already divided Jerusalem!'
A prominent Israeli activist told participants in the 8th annual Jerusalem Conference on Tuesday that while the world bickers over future control of Jerusalem, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has in fact already divided the city.
Aryeh King of the Israel Land Fund charged that today eight neighborhoods on the eastern side of Jerusalem are off-limits to Jews.
He presented video evidence of Israeli police preventing Jewish motorists from entering the neighborhoods in question. Jews entering these neighborhoods by special permission require an Israeli army escort.
King also noted that Palestinian Authority police officers are operating freely in these neighborhoods with no opposition from Israel.
“The Likud government, the present government of Israel, already divided Jerusalem,” King told Israel National News following the presentation.

God's Holy Mountain

Nearly the same place at the time of Herod I. ...Image via Wikipedia

God's Holy Mountain

  • More than just talk on the Third Temple being built. A way for all sides to come and worship on Holy Ground. Could it actually happen this time?

  • The stream and a possible extension of the Temple Mount.
The stream and several geographical anomalies indicate the prophetic rather than precise physical character of this image. These elements are described below followed by additional detail about the stream and a possible extension to the Temple Mount.
The artistic image on the enclosed card depicts a rebuilt Jewish Temple in peaceful proximity to the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosque and other existing Islamic and Christian shrines in Jerusalem, in fulfillment of the prophecy: "On that day God will be One and His Name One" (Zechariah 14:9).

  • This is a vision about transforming the Temple Mount from a place of contention to a place that is truly God's Holy Mountain, a house of prayer for all people (Isaiah 56:7). It is a vision of fulfilling the ultimate mission of Judaism, Christianity and Islam and the original purpose of the Temple, for the entire world to worship the One God together in peace. This vision is proposed by observant Jews, supported by background papers researched over five years and presented here. Of particular importance is one, published in Tehumin, the leading periodical of halachah (Jewish law) in Israel, about the Role of the Prophet in specifying a precise location on Mount Moriah for a rebuilt Temple.

  • We believe, however, that this vision is possible according to halachah based upon the Role of the Prophet in determining the location of a rebuilt, Third Temple on Mount Moriah. It is thus possible that a prophet could rule according to the vision proposed and therefore acceptable according to Jewish law to contemplate and discuss this vision.

  • In Ezekiel's prophecy (47:1-12) a stream of water is mentioned, which will flow from the threshold of the Temple as a small spring but soon becomes miraculously a great river that reaches the Dead Sea and gives life to it. This future stream is also mentioned in the Mishnah (Midot 2:6) that enumerates the gates in the first court of the Temple and mentions among them the "Gate of Water." Rabbi Eliezer Ben Ya'acov adds there that "from it the water in future will gurgle and flow underneath the threshold of the Temple."

  • We present this vision in humility for contemplation and discussion. Should it be the will of God, we hope that one day it will be realized (See The Jewish Temple and God's Holy Mountain).

  • In the painting, the stream allows ambiguity concerning the location of the Temple. The Temple could be standing on the original area of the Temple Mount, or else could be located on an extension to the mount, perhaps on manmade earthworks or as a consequence of a miraculous earthquake, depicted also in prophecy (Zechariah 14:4). It should be noted that according to various Jewish sources (e.g. Ezekiel 40-43, Talmud Baba Batra 75b) the Temple Mount area will be expanded by 36 times, in order to include all the nations there (see the Malbim's commentary on Ezekiel 42:20). In the Talmud, halachic methods to sanctify extensions to the Temple's holy area, are discussed.

  • There is much more to these posts. See the links to read it all.
    Could it actually be possible?

Jerusalem Is The Eternal Capital of Israel

This has got to be one of the greatest things I have seen in my lifetime. For those that don't get it. I don't expect you to. But to see Israel back home celebrating 3000 years since just King David alone. Celebrating their home. And again fulfilling God's promises once again. Is just an awesome site to see today. Lord knows it's about time.

clipped from wejew.com

It has now been over 3,000 years since King David declared Jerusalem as Israel's capital. And it has been 43 years since God returned Jerusalem to the Israeli people for the final time. In this celebratory video, see how Israel marked Jerusalem Day 2010.

Zechariah 8:8 - I will bring them back, And they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. They shall be My people And I will be their God, In truth and righteousness.

Excitement on Temple Mount as Rabbi Prostrates Himself

IMG_0931Image by tmesis via Flickr

A large group of hareidi-religious Jews ascended the Temple Mount Tuesday and received friendly service from the police there – unlike the harsh police treatment that Jews typically receive on the Mount in recent years. One of the Jews was even allowed to fully prostrate himself in prayer, facing in the direction of the location of the ancient Temple – which is now occupied by a Muslim mosque.

Unlike previous Jewish ascensions to the Mount in the recent past, and in contrast to this group's last ascension on Passover, in which their entry to the Mount was blocked, police on the Mount were courteous and friendly.
They were gripped by excitement when one of the rabbis prostrated himself facing the presumed location of the Temple's Holy of Holies in ancient times. Police allowed this religious act as well.
The rabbis say they intend to bring ever-larger groups of Jews to the Mount with the purpose of eventually holding a Passover sacrifice there.

PM Urged to Place Temple Mount on Heritage List

HEBRON, WEST BANK - DECEMBER 05: An Israeli p...Image by Getty Images via Daylife

As Jerusalem Day approaches, redoubled efforts are underway to increase Jewish awareness of the Temple Mount and to have the site included on the National Heritage Sites list.

Highlights of the campaign include a visit by 43 rabbis to Judaism’s holiest site on Monday and a petition to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to include the location on his recently-formulated list of National Heritage sites.

Elkin and others led to the inclusion of the Machpelah Cave (Tomb of the Patriarchs) in Hevron and Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem. These are the only two sites on the National Heritage Sites list that are located in areas liberated by Israel during the Six Day War of 1967.
3,100 signatures at http://www.gopetition.com/online/35455.html.
“The Temple Mount is the holiest site in the world for the Jewish people,” the petition states, “yet the Muslim authorities, aided by Israel Police, systematically deny the right of religious expression on the Mount to all non-Muslims
