Why are Your Children Still in Public School?

As a parent I have learned that I really have to watch out and do a lot of studying myself in order to make sure my children are not being fed wrong and purposeful information that seems to be a driven motive to to corrupt our children. Don't take my word for it. If you are a parent. You might want get more involved now in what your kids are being taught. It just may shock you.

One of my most frequent suggestions here at the CH 2.0 is for parents to get their children out of the public schools-preferably yesterday.  Today, here are two quick looks at reasons why that suggestion is still relevant.
First up, Soylent Green recently posted this story about training teachers to indoctrinate children.

When you go to their website, you can take a look at some of the workshops they’ve offered in the past. Here are some excerpts…

Examining Your Hidden Curriculum to Improve Social Justice in Your Classroom

This workshop will present a guided tour of the hidden ways we teach, such as what is on our walls and whose voices are heard through texts. Participants will map their own classrooms and in small groups develop a plan for positively using hidden curriculum to promote more social justice.

Learning Israel-Palestine: Connecting with Palestinian Youth and Uncovering Conflict in the Middle East

This session explores teaching the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with special emphasis on incorporating into the classroom the Global Citizen Corps two-way blog and live video conferencing program (formerly the Mercy Corps “Why Not” program), which connects U.S. students with youth in the Palestinian territories.

(Still) Rethinking Columbus: How the Columbus Myth Teaches Children that Racism and Colonialism Are OK — and some ideas on what to do about it

The Columbus-discovers-America myth is the first time in the curriculum that many children encounter different races confronting each other, different cultures confronting each other. Children begin to learn that social inequality is normal. In this workshop, through slides of children’s Columbus biographies, participants will examine deep biases that are imparted to students in literature and textbooks. We will also engage in classroom-tested methods to equip students to develop their critical reading abilities.

Why Obama Is Merging the EPA With Churches

Those who Love God, Get Ready. If this don't cause some kind of reaction in the separation of church and state. Then those who don't care have become very numb to the world around them.

If I had told you five years ago that this government would bypass the Congress — and thus you — and go through the EPA to get climate change done, by having them declare that when you exhale you poison the air, you wouldn't have believed it.

And, if I had added that the government is going to merge with churches under Democrats, you'd have said I was stark raving insane. That's is why I told you this, a couple of months ago:

GLENN BECK RADIO PROGRAM: I beg you, look for the words 'social justice' or 'economic justice' on your church Web site. If you find it, run as fast as you can. Social justice and economic justice, they are code words.

The president's council envisions the government and religion partnering to push the good news of global warming, climate change and green issues. Yes, the religion of environmental and social justice.

The council hopes the new EPA faith office will also help churches and other non-profits improve "access to financing,"

The Long Shadow Of The Progressives: Obama, Teddy Roosevelt & Living Wage

clipped from motorcitytimes.com

Progressives have been pushing for a living wage, social justice and a “whatever you think it says is o.k. with me” interpretation of the constitution for 100 years.

Obama (February 13th, 2008):

Since the Earned Income Tax Credit lifts nearly 5 million Americans out of poverty each year, I’ll double the number of workers who receive it and triple the benefit for minimum wage workers

Teddy Roosevelt (August 6th, 1912):

As a people we cannot afford to let any group of citizens or any individual citizen live or labor under conditions which are injurious to the common welfare. Industry, therefore, must submit to such public regulation as will make it a means of life and health, not of death or inefficiency. We must protect the crushable elements at the base of our present industrial structure.

The people themselves must be the ultimate makers of their own Constitution

Not again! Meet Obama's new controversial pastor

clipped from www.wnd.com

Rev. Jim Wallis, a member of President Obama's "faith council" who is described as a spiritual adviser to the president, is a socialist activist who has championed communist causes and previously labeled the U.S. "the great captor and destroyer of human life."

Wallis was in the news last week urging Christians to stop watching Fox News host Glenn Beck's program for Beck's remarks against churches that preach "social justice."

Wallis, however, is a long time socialist advocate and founder of a far-left magazine, Sojourners, that has championed communist causes.

He currently serves on Obama's White House Advisory Council on Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships. He reportedly is a spiritual adviser to Obama and has known the president for years.

Wallis began his activism as a protester and then later Michigan leader of the Students for a Democratic Society, the 1960's antiwar group from which Bill Ayers' Weatherman domestic terrorist organization splintered.
