In a sane world certain things make sense. You fight to win. You fight because you are right. You do not let thugs; bandits, criminals and bullies dictate what you do or how you fight. This is particularly true when you are the United States of America. Yet the most powerful nation in the world is acting like a country that is either insane or has a suicide wish. Only a few short days ago, American forces killed the most wanted man in the world. After the raid that killed him, we took Osama bin Laden’s body with us, back to a U.S. Navy warship. Instead of cleaning him up, like we did the son’s of Sadam Hussein, so we could present proof positive that we had killed him; he was quickly buried at sea, allegedly in accordance with Islamic sensibilities. We are at war with at least radical Islam, if not Islam itself. We are told repeatedly that Bin Laden is not a true Muslim, yet we have to give him a Muslim funeral and the need to do that trumps all other considerations? Today, Obama has announced America will not release the photos of a dead Osama. Why? Once again, we are afraid of offending Muslim sensibilities. When have Muslims ever been afraid of offending American sensibilities? Again, the desire not to offend “Muslim sensibilities” over rules much more important considerations.
BAGHDAD – Iran's top diplomat on Saturday praised Iraqi authorities for launching a deadly raid on a camp of Iranian exiles considered terrorists by Tehran.
Iran's lone voice of support against a chorus of international criticism of the crackdown was another sign of the closer ties between the neighboring countries since the ouster of Saddam Hussein, who started the 1980-88 war between the two nations.
Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said the Iraqi army was right to storm Camp Ashraf, located about 60 miles (95 kilometers) northeast of Baghdad. The sprawling desert settlement is home to about 3,400 members of the People's Mujahedeen Organization of Iran, which seeks to overthrow Iran's leaders and is considered a terrorist group by Tehran.
Iraqi army forces stormed the camp before dawn on Friday after the exiles provoked soldiers.
"Under the Iraqi constitution, no terrorist group can use the Iraqi soil as a base to operate against neighboring countries," Salehi told a press conference in Tehran.
Therefore, he said the raid was legally necessary, and "needs to be praised."

What so many arguments today deal with is around the so called oil that media has played so many times when dealing with Iraq and the wars. Hear from the first President Bush and the people surrounding him at the time it all started.
So many seemed to have forgotten the entire dictatorship of Saddam Hussein and how evil and vicious this man was and the murders he inflicted on his own people.

A sobering report circulating in the Kremlin today from President Medvedev's meeting with other World leaders at the G8 summit in Muskoka, Ontario states that President Obama has warned his counterparts that the Gulf of Mexico oil disaster "will most likely kill millions, perhaps tens of millions" of people during the coming year.
Fueling Obama's dire assessment of this "Gulf Apocalypse", this report says, are the oil and toxic rains now being reported to be falling throughout the US Gulf Coast region due to the fracturing of the Gulf of Mexico seafloor allowing untold millions of gallons of oil and millions of cubic feet of methane gas to escape unchecked into our World's seventh largest body of water, not to mention the millions of gallons of dangerous disbursements being used that is poisoning everything in its path.
I'm pregnant. Can the oil harm me or my unborn baby?
Although the oil may contain some chemicals that could cause harm to an unborn baby under some conditions, the CDC has reviewed sampling data from the EPA and feels that the levels of these chemicals are well below the level that could generally cause harm to pregnant women or their unborn babies. The effects that chemicals might have on a pregnant woman and her unborn baby would depend on many things: how the mother came into contact with the oil, how long she was in contact with it, how often she came into contact with it, and the overall health of the mother and her baby.
People, including pregnant women, can be exposed to these chemicals by breathing them (air), by swallowing them (water, food), or by touching them (skin). If possible, everyone, including pregnant women, should avoid the oil and spill-affected areas. Generally, a pregnant woman will see or smell the chemicals in oil before those chemicals can hurt her or the baby. The EPA and CDC are working together to continue monitoring the levels of oil in the environment. If we begin to find levels that are more likely to be harmful, we will tell the public. Important to note about in this report is that Obama's warning that "millions could die" from this disaster has been further confirmed by the American engineer who helped lead the team to put out the Persian Gulf oil fires set by Saddam Hussein in the first Iraq war and had warned a full 12 months before the April sinking of the Deepwater Horizon that BP was drilling into a huge methane deposit that if released would be beyond catastrophic, it would be biblical in its scale of destruction.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on Monday released new data from the agency's latest research trip through the Gulf of Mexico, showing concentrations of oil below the surface at more than 3,600 feet below the surface, about 7.5 nautical miles southwest of the BP's blown-out well.
The Thomas Jefferson research ship found evidence of depleted oxygen, a potential sign of microbes digesting oil, in the area. Acoustic and fluorometric instruments likewise indicated the presence of oil. Water samples taken on the trip have not been analyzed.
Since the leak began April 20, attention has been focused on surface oil washing up on environmentally fragile shoreline ecosystems. But "plumes" or "clouds" of oil hovering in the water column below the surface, where myriad marine life eat, breed and swim, has as much or more potential to cause ecological damage to the Gulf, scientists have warned.
The first evidence of undersea concentrations of oil was revealed by University of South Florida scientists, and was subsequently confirmed by NOAA. Monday's results generally coincide with previous data.
Not being explained to the American people about NOAA's findings is that the live video feed of this spill being shown to them of this spill contains oil and methane gas being expelled at pressures estimated to be at 100,000 pounds per square inch (psi) and cannot in any way being associated with the massive underwater oil plumes found by the Thomas Jefferson nearly 8 kilometers away.
"We're going to have to evacuate the gulf states," said Matt Simmons, founder of Simmons and Co., an oil investment firm and, since the April 20 blowout, the unflagging source of end-of-the-world predictions. "Can you imagine evacuating 20 million people? . . . This story is 80 times worse than I thought."
To the greatest consequence of this catastrophe upon the American people, an FSB appendix to this report warns that the US Soldiers currently deployed throughout their island territory of Puerto Rico are in fact being trained in how to "suppress and contain" large concentrations of people and being "recycled" to military bases throughout the State of Florida where they will soon be joined by an estimated 28,000 NATO allied troops where both will join up with an estimated 7,000 pre-positioned UN marked vehicles for purposes "still not known or clearly stated by the US".

BABYLON, Iraq - A U.S.-funded program to restore the ruins of Iraq's ancient city of Babylon is threatened by a dispute among Iraqi officials over whether the priority should be preserving the site or making money off it.
Local officials want swift work done to restore the crumbling ruins and start building restaurants and gift shops to draw in tourists, while antiquities officials in Baghdad favor a more painstaking approach to avoid the gaudy restoration mistakes of the past.
"I'm optimistic because what is happening in Babylon is the proper and scientific step and, God willing, the work in Babylon will open up new horizons," said Qais Hussein Rashid, head of Iraq's impoverished antiquities department.
Of all the battered ruins, the temple has the most potential, with its arched rooms and courtyards holding altars to the gods.

Doom for Worshipers of the Beast
9Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11“And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” 12Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.
13And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on!’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “so that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow with them.”
If you really want see more about Babylon being broken down and how God's judgments happen. You would be amazed and this prophecy in Isaiah. Read Chapters 21, 22 and 23 you can go on and on.
(Caution to those who think God has no Judgments and think that the evil of this world has no punishment coming.) It's happened before, and what is coming will be much worse.

And all the images of her gods are shattered on the ground.”

He is going to render recompense to her.
7Babylon has been a golden cup in the hand of the LORD,
Intoxicating all the earth.
The nations have drunk of her wine;
Therefore the nations are going mad.
8Suddenly Babylon has fallen and been broken;
Wail over her!
Bring balm for her pain;
Perhaps she may be healed.
14The LORD of hosts has sworn by Himself:
“Surely I will fill you with a population like locusts,
And they will cry out with shouts of victory over you.”
25“Behold, I am against you, O destroying mountain,
Who destroys the whole earth,” declares the LORD,
“And I will stretch out My hand against you,
And roll you down from the crags,
And I will make you a burnt out mountain.
29So the land quakes and writhes,
For the purposes of the LORD against Babylon stand,
To make the land of Babylon
A desolation without inhabitants.

41“How Sheshak has been captured,
And the praise of the whole earth been seized!
How Babylon has become an object of horror among the nations!

She has been engulfed with its tumultuous waves.
43“Her cities have become an object of horror,
A parched land and a desert,
A land in which no man lives
And through which no son of man passes.
44“I will punish Bel in Babylon,
And I will make what he has swallowed come out of his mouth;
And the nations will no longer stream to him.
Even the wall of Babylon has fallen down!
45“Come forth from her midst, My people,
And each of you save yourselves
( So much happens in this entire chapter. I just wanted to point out just a few of the Judgments for doing so much evil throughout the Nations)
War, Fire and Flooding. Making the land desolate.
Now. isn't this already desolate?

2And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird. 3“For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the passion of her immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed acts of immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich by the wealth of her sensuality.” Some translation say luxuries.
4I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues; 5for her sins have piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6“Pay her back even as she has paid, and give back to her double according to her deeds; in the cup which she has mixed, mix twice as much for her.
7“To the degree that she glorified herself and lived sensuously, to the same degree give her torment and mourning; for she says in her heart, ‘I SIT as A QUEEN AND I AM NOT A WIDOW, and will never see mourning.’ 8“For this reason in one day her plagues will come, pestilence and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for the Lord God who judges her is strong.
Lament for Babylon
9“And the kings of the earth, who committed acts of immorality and lived sensuously with her, will weep and lament over her when they see the smoke of her burning, 10standing at a distance because of the fear of her torment, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’
11“And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her, because no one buys their cargoes any more— 12cargoes of gold and silver and precious stones and pearls and fine linen and purple and silk and scarlet, and every kind of citron wood and every article of ivory and every article made from very costly wood and bronze and iron and marble, 13and cinnamon and spice and incense and perfume and frankincense and wine and olive oil and fine flour and wheat and cattle and sheep, and cargoes of horses and chariots and slaves and human lives.
(Many have claimed this is America and the Catholic Church.)
What many do not understand is the link between the Roman Catholic and Islam. I won't get into that now though.
In order for Babylon to have these kinds of Riches to be destroyed forever. Wouldn't they need to Rebuild it first? No matter what so many claim today. The more I see today's news the more interesting it gets and lines up perfectly with the Entire Bible.
Since Saddam already tried to rebuild Babylon. That king was taken out. The riches? America didn't take them they still remain. Many still trade. With the rebuilding of Babylon in real life as the news article here.

BAGHDAD — Millions of Iraqis voted in national elections on Sunday despite bomb and grenade attacks in a test of democracy and Iraq's ability to take over security from American troops.
Election observers said the most open and competitive election since the overthrow of Saddam Hussein went smoothly. People emerged smiling from polling stations with purple-stained fingers, the signature Iraqi method to prevent vote fraud, and said they hoped for a better future.
"We have suffered from the security situation, the lack of jobs and poor basic services," said Usra Abdullah, 48, in Baghdad. "If it means that I die while casting my vote then I die."
Poll openings at 7 a.m. were met with numerous blasts. In an explosion near Sadr City, rescue workers said they could hear women and children under the debris screaming for help. The Interior Ministry said at least 35 people had died in the violence.
Iraqis living in the United States also voted in six U.S. cities over the weekend.
"BAGHDAD – Suicide bombers struck near three hotels popular with Western journalists and businessmen Monday just as Iraq announced the execution of Saddam Hussein's notorious cousin known as "Chemical Ali." At least 37 people were killed and more than 104 injured, security officials said. The blasts — coming in a span of about 15 minutes in downtown Baghdad — came shortly before state television announced that Ali Hassan al-Majid had been hanged. There was no claim of responsibility for the latest major attacks in Baghdad — about six weeks after a series of blasts killed 127 and brought outcry against Iraq's government for repeated security lapses as U.S. troops withdraw. Government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said the latest bombings "represent an extension" of the activities of insurgents linked to Saddam's regime. But he stopped short of declaring the blast as possible revenge for the execution. The first explosion struck at about 3:40 p.m. local time in the parking lot of the Sheraton Hotel, toppling high concrete blast walls protecting the site and damaging a number of buildings along the Abu Nawas esplanade across the Tigris River from the Green Zone. Two other blasts followed minutes later, striking near the Babylon Hotel and Hamra Hotel, which is popular with Western journalists and foreign security contractors. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media. According to initial tallies, 15 of the victims were at the Hamra, 14 at the Sheraton, and the remaining 8 died at the Babylon, including two policemen."
