clipped from mommylife.net Washington, DC, April 20, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A recent study by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has confirmed 1988 as a "change point" in the rise of Autism Disorder rates in the U.S. - a date that pro-life leaders say correlates with the introduction of fetal cells for use in vaccines.  While the EPA study does not speculate into the cause of the jump in autism rates, and makes no mention of aborted fetal cells, the researchers point out that it "is important to determine whether a preventable exposure to an environmental factor may be associated with the increase." Obama's ‘New’ Health Care Plan Would Use Tax Dollars to Pay for Abortions

clipped from cnsnews.com (CNSNews.com) – President Barack Obama unveiled his plan for health care reform on whitehouse.gov on Monday, but pro-life legislators and advocates said the “new” proposal mostly mirrors the Senate bill and, in particular, would allow for tax dollars to be used to fund health plans that cover abortion. “The health bill passed by the Senate in December (H.R. 3590) had become, by the conclusion of the Senate amendment process, the most expansively pro-abortion bill ever brought to the floor of either house of Congress since Roe v. Wade,” Douglas Johnson, legislative director for the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC), said in a statement issued on Monday.  “If all of the President's changes were made, the resulting legislation would allow direct federal funding of abortion-on-demand through community health centers, would institute federal subsidies for private health plans that cover abortion-on-demand

"When you dig around and look at [their] website and look at the medical services that they are providing, the priorities that they give are to -- quote -- "low-cost, quality sexual and reproductive healthcare," he states. The pro-life journalist says while Planned Parenthood does not further define on its website and in its literature what that entails, "we know from experience [that it] includes contraceptives, birth control and condoms -- and often, but not always, abortion."
