How To I.D. Genetically Modified Food at the Supermarket | FriendsEAT.com

Stem cell diagram illustrates a human fetus st...Image via Wikipedia Not sure what GM foods are? Genetically Modified, In other word Stem Cell research for those that are not sure what that means. I will take some time to point them out. First off, this article here shows how Obama as he went right into office in 2009 passed this law.
A conventionally grown banana would be: 4011
An organic banana would be: 94011
A genetically engineered (GE or GMO) banana would be: 84011

Obama to Reverse Bush Policy on Stem Cell Research

bloodPresident Barack Obama is overturning yet another policy of the Bush regime. This time, Obama will allow federal taxpayer dollars to finance embryonic stem cell (ESC) research. This is in fulfillment of his campaign promise to push more research to discover better treatments for illnesses ranging from paralysis to diabetes.

As some may think this a good thing, let me show you more. This is NOT just mixing plants or some scientific breakthrough. Some of these genes come from animals such as pigs and knowing the fact of aborted babies as Obama had passed right along with this bill, it not much to put 2 and 2 together.

There is a lot learn about it here as well. I cannot stress enough on this to do your own research. If you can actually say you trust ALL Governments and the scientists paid by these same Governments. Then, I guess you really don't care to be reading any of this anyway.
More on it here.

Genetically Modified Foods

 http://www.aaenvironment.com/GM.htm
The terms genetically-modified (GM) or genetically-engineered (GE) foods and genetically-modified organisms (GMOs) refer to crop plants created for human or animal consumption using the latest molecular biology techniques. These techniques of modern genetics have made possible the direct manipulation of the genetic makeup of organisms. Combining genes from different organisms is known as recombinant DNA technology and the resulting organism is said to be "genetically modified," "genetically engineered," or "transgenic." Cambridge Scientific Abstracts has an excellent introduction to this topic entitled: Genetically Modified Foods: Harmful or Helpful? (by Deborah B. Whitman, April 2000). Like most human planetary management issues today, such as global climate change, the GM foods issue is hugely complex. GM foods have great promise and great dangers. AAEA leans in the direction of aggressive market production with needed oversight regulations in a global management context. If all goes well, one thing is certain, we will have to feed about 12 billion people everyday in the next 50 years.
Good and evil are moral choices humans are free to make. As applied to technology, these moral choices present great opportunities and great dangers. We manipulate atoms to light our buildings and to make weapons of mass destruction. Companies produce chemicals to make our lives easier, but sometimes cut corners in the management, storage and disposal to maximize profits. We utilize coal, oil and gas for our cars, businesses and utility needs, but these same natural resources pollute our air and water without adequate protections. Twenty first century choices face us in stem cell research, cloning and genetically modified foods. Proponents and opponents present their cases and policy-makers are faced with protecting the public interest. Unfortunately, human history is littered with cases of indiscretions by people with evil intentions. It is within this context that we look at the case for genetically modified and engineered organisims and foods.

Tomato How To I.D. Genetically Modified Food at the Supermarket
Not many consumers realize that the FDA does not require genetically modified food to be labeled. That’s because the FDA has decided that you, dear consumer, don’t care if the tomato you’re eating has been cross bred with frog genes to render the tomato more resistant to cold weather. Some consumers may not be concerned with eating Frankenfood, but for those who are, here’s how to determine if the fruits and vegetables you’re buying are (GM) genetically modified.
Hat tip to Marion Owen for her valuable information. Here’s how it works:
Banana How To I.D. Genetically Modified Food at the SupermarketFor conventionally grown fruit, (grown with chemicals inputs), the PLU code on the sticker consists of four numbers. Organically grown fruit has a five-numeral PLU prefaced by the number 9. Genetically engineered (GM) fruit has a five-numeral PLU prefaced by the number 8.
For example:
A conventionally grown banana would be: 4011
An organic banana would be: 94011
A genetically engineered (GE or GMO) banana would be: 84011
These tips are specially important now that over 80% of all processed foods in the US are genetically modified. Many countries in the European Union have been banning GM products and produce (including Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary and Luxembourg).  We say “Eat healthy, buy or grow organic”.

Human-animal hybrids in life vs. death struggle

For those that didn't notice the very first laws past as Obama took office. You know those two major ones he couldn't wait to do as he slipped in. First Abortion, and then Stem Cell Research?
This is the results from both of those laws that everyone was so eager to bring to America.
Personally, I find it sick. Sacrificing babies for Scientific mutations. Why?

In what may seem more like a Hollywood science-fiction plot, as in the forthcoming movie "Splice," lawmakers are trying to prevent scientists from combining human and animal embryos to make "human-animal hybrids."

In "Splice," two scientists defy ethical boundaries and splice together human and animal DNA to create a new organism, also known as a chimera.

While the idea of such an experiment may seem far-fetched, scientists around the world have been dabbling in creation of human-animal hybrids for years.

Today, Ohio's Senate Health, Human Services and Aging Committee passed S.B.
243
– a ban on human-animal hybrids.

The bill prohibits "human cloning, the creation, transportation, or receipt of a human-animal hybrid, the transfer of a nonhuman embryo into a human womb, and the transfer of a human embryo into a nonhuman womb."

According to the report, researchers at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota were able to create pigs with human blood flowing through their bodies in 2004.

EPA: autism boom correlates w/aborted fetal DNA in vaccines

Human fetus, age unknownImage via Wikipedia
Still think Stem Cell research is a great idea? You may want to go to the link here and read the rest of this.
Also check out the rest of the links below for more information.
Things that the general public should be warned about while their kids are getting all those shots.

To top it off there are several links below the article here to help you study up more on this subject. People are being injected all the time. As more and children are being linked up to Autism through several doses at such a young age.
If you care about your children you might want to take some time and do some real research on this subject.

Washington,
DC, April 20, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) -
A recent study by
the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has confirmed 1988 as a
"change point" in the rise of Autism Disorder rates in the U.S. - a date
that pro-life leaders say correlates with the introduction of fetal
cells for use in vaccines
While the EPA study does not
speculate into the cause of the jump in autism rates, and makes no
mention of aborted fetal cells, the researchers point out that it "is
important to determine whether a preventable exposure to an
environmental factor may be associated with the increase."
