Feds Issue Terror Watch for the Texas/Mexico Border

Why should America secure it's borders? Hmmm? Let me count the reasons why. Because they haven't in the past. We could be looking at the many things to make it worse. Here is just one article to show a bit more.

clipped from www.foxnews.com The Department of Homeland Security is alerting Texas authorities to be on the lookout for a suspected member of the Somalia-based Al Shabaab terrorist group who might be attempting to travel to the U.S. through Mexico, a security expert who has seen the memo tells FOXNews.com. The warning follows an indictment unsealed this month in Texas federal court that accuses a Somali man in Texas of running a “large-scale smuggling enterprise” responsible for bringing hundreds of Somalis from Brazil through South America and eventually across the Mexican border. Many of the illegal immigrants, who court records say were given fake IDs, are alleged to have ties to other now-defunct Somalian terror organizations that have merged with active organizations like Al Shabaab, al-Barakat and Al-Ittihad Al-Islami. The DHS alert was issued to police and sheriff’s deputies in Houston, asking them to keep their eyes open for a Somali man named Mohamed Ali who is believed to be in Mexico

Somali Christian Killed

clipped from www.persecution.com On May 4, members of the Islamic extremist group al-Shabaab killed an underground church leader in Xarardheere, Mudug region, Somalia, according to Compass Direct News. The extremists, who were battling a rival rebel group for control of the area, were searching house to house for enemy fighters when they arrived at the home of 57-year-old Yusuf Ali Nur, a school teacher and underground church leader. They suspected that Yusuf was a Christian, so they shot him multiple times at close range, killing him. Yusuf is survived by his wife and three children, ages 7, 9 and 11. Al-Shabaab, which is linked with al-Qaeda, has reportedly vowed to rid Somalia of Christianity. In recent months, several Somali Christians have been killed by the group in execution-style murders, including one murder as recently as late March. The Voice of the Martyrs encourages you to pray that Yusuf’s loved ones will trust in God’s unfailing love.

Somali terrorist believed on Mexican border

Somalis with ties to a terrorist organization are believed to be plotting to illegally enter the United States after being mistakenly released from custody in Mexico, a confidential federal law enforcement report said.

The report, obtained by the Washington Examiner, said that 23 Somalis who entered Mexico illegally earlier in the year were caught there, then released in late January.

Only 16 of the 23 people were identified by both Mexican and U.S. law enforcement officials, while the "other 7 are unknown," the report says.

Included in the group is Mohamed Osman Noor, 35, of Somalia, who U.S. officials suspect has strong ties to Al-Shabaab Mujahideen, an Islamist insurgency group in the ongoing war in Somalia with ties to al Qaeda.

What so many seem to not understand lately is this is a very serious matter. It is also the reason Arizona had to do something about it.

From News channel 2 in Atlanta. Agents in New Mexico and Arizona are catching thousands of OTM's (other than Mexicans). Border patrol and ranchers are finding muslim prayer shaws, muslim jackets with "martyr" patches on them. "There are people who mean to do us harm who cross our borders every day"

Bombs Kill 30 at Mogadishu Mosque

clipped from www1.voanews.com Two bomb blasts ripped through a mosque in Somalia's capital Saturday, killing at least 30 people and wounding up to 70 others. The explosions were at the Abdala Shideye mosque in Mogadishu's main Bakara market, an area controlled by militant Islamist groups al-Shabab and Hizbul Islam. The mosque is often used by al-Shabab leaders to deliver speeches. Witnesses said one of the group's high-ranking officials, Fuad Mohamed Qalaf, was inside the mosque at the time of the bombings. Qalaf, who is the target of international sanctions, was reported to have escaped with only minor injuries. Al-Shabab militants arrived after the explosions and blocked access to the area. No one claimed responsibility for Saturday's attack. It was the second bomb attack on a mosque in Bakara this week.
