The fact is. Israel needs to protect it's people from these monsters. Yet the U.N. and the entire Islamic world would rather see them wiped out. So humanitarian of them all isn't it? And yet it's their own law. Go figure that one.

Israeli media reported that two homemade projectile landed in the coastal city of Asheklon on Saturday, causing no injuries or damage. Earlier, the Israeli news site Yedioth Ahronoth reported that a projectile landed in Nahal Oz, in northern Israel, with no casualties reported. Meanwhile, an unexploded projectile believed to have been launched on Friday was found near a kibbutz in southern Israel, the news site reported. One of the rockets that landed Saturday was not a so-called Qassam, but might have been a more advanced type of projectile which had been smuggled into Gaza, Israeli police officials told the Israeli daily Haaretz. China To Sterilise 10,000 To Curb Births

clipped from news.sky.com Health authorities are planning to sterilise nearly 10,000 people in southern China over the next four days as part of a population control programme. Some of the people in Puning City will be forced to have the procedure carried out against their will. Amnesty International says forced sterilisation "amounts to torture". Reports in the Chinese media say that Puning Health authorities in Guangdong Province have launched a special campaign to sterilise people who already have at least one child in order to ensure local birth control quotas are met. Chinese newspaper reports say that those who refuse to be sterilised have seen their elderly mothers or fathers taken away and detained. Hundreds of people in Puning are said to have been locked up. "Reports that relatives are imprisoned as a means of pressurising couples into submitting to surgery are incredibly concerning.

CNN President "Really Afraid Of" Social Networks

clipped from www.webpronews.com Over the years, there have been more than a few arguments about whether online news sites are killing newspapers.  Now, due to some almost startling comments made by the president of CNN, it looks like the next round of old media-new media disputes might concern social networks and cable news organizations. The competition I'm really afraid of are social networking sites.  That's an alternative that threatens to pull people away from us." Klein then explained, "The people you're friends with on Facebook or the people you follow on Twitter are trusted sources of information. . . .  Well, we want to be the most trusted name in news.  We don't want the 1,000 people you follow in Twitter to be the most trusted sources for you. . . .  So I'm far more worried about the 500 million people on Facebook than I am about two million people watching Fox." It implies - at the very least - that CNN anchors are going to spend a whole lot more time referencing Facebook and Twitter from now on
