Signs of the times? Bible Prophecy happening now?

The Golan Heights, map with Norwegian text.Image via WikipediaAs we continue to read through the chapters of Isaiah and many others. Like Daniel 11 and 12, Joel 3, Revelations, Matthew 24 and so many others. It's a wonder how so many have not seen what is happening in the world today.
Are we actually seeing the signs of the times? Is Bible Prophecy actually happening right now? As much as I would love to post every chapter in the Bible from what is happening throughout the world right now. I just don't have the room on just one Blog. Egypt right now along with the Global cause of the U.N. Seem to be right inline with every thing the Bible says.

Isaiah 19

1 The burden against Egypt.

      Behold, the LORD rides on a swift cloud,
      And will come into Egypt;
      The idols of Egypt will totter at His presence,
      And the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst.
       2 “ I will set Egyptians against Egyptians;
      Everyone will fight against his brother,
      And everyone against his neighbor,
      City against city, kingdom against kingdom.
       3 The spirit of Egypt will fail in its midst;
      I will destroy their counsel,
      And they will consult the idols and the charmers,
      The mediums and the sorcerers.
       4 And the Egyptians I will give
      Into the hand of a cruel master,
      And a fierce king will rule over them,”
      Says the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
       5 The waters will fail from the sea,
      And the river will be wasted and dried up.
       6 The rivers will turn foul;
      The brooks of defense will be emptied and dried up;
      The reeds and rushes will wither.

Daniel 11
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Daniel%2011&version=NKJV
40 “At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. 41 He shall also enter the Glorious Land, and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon. 42 He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; also the Libyans and Ethiopians shall follow at his heels. 44 But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many. 45 And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him.

The Destruction of Jerusalem

20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Syria Blocks New Border Protest as Death Toll Rises to 23

Be sure to see the enitre article at the link below.
http://www.foxnews.com/world/2011/06/06/israeli-troops-gird-for-more-syria-border-violence/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+foxnews%2Fworld+%28Internal+-+World+Latest+-+Text%29&utm_content=Google+Feedfetcher
Syrian police blocked dozens of pro-Palestinian protesters from approaching the Israeli frontier on Monday. The toll of demonstrators killed trying to break through into the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights rose to 23.
Syrian police set up a pair of checkpoints, including one a half-mile (kilometer) from the border. Nearly 20 protesters, some waving Syrian flags, began walking down a hill leading to the border when two police officers blocked their advance by extending their arms.
Protesters passed Syrian and U.N. outposts without impediment on Sunday and during a similar border rush three weeks ago, and it was not clear why Syrian security forces intervened Monday.
The repeated attempts to challenge the borders play into widespread Israeli fears that the Palestinians will not make do with a state on lands captured in 1967, but want to take over all of historic Palestine, including present-day Israel.
Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak suggested that the Syrian regime might have instigated Sunday's border unrest -- and similar unrest three weeks ago -- to deflect attention from its crackdown on its own protesters. At least 35 Syrians died in a government crackdown in the country's north over the weekend.
Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor said Israel would file a complaint to the U.N. later Monday "concerning the Syrian regime's cynical manipulation of its own citizens in order to generate violent incidents on the border."

Commentary
It appears the third intifada may have started as Israel was attacked from Lebanon and Syria, plus there was violence within Israel. What we need to watch is does this have "legs" or will it die out? There was a real boldness to attack Israel. Some event will cause the point of no return.
God bless you.

***Analysis: 'Nakba Day' just the beginning 05/15/11 This is an excellent article. It appears that this event is a warm up for September!
"Events that involve enraged masses have a dynamic of their own, especially in the Middle East. They are akin to molten lava, shot out from the belly of a volcano with unexpected force and a destination unknown This is what Sunday's "Nakba Day" events – that even the Palestinian Authority, Hamas and Lebanon never intended to see spin out of control – have demonstrated."
Israel-Palestinian violence erupts on three borders 05/15/11 "Violence erupted on Israel's borders with Syria, Lebanon and Gaza on Sunday, leaving at least eight dead and dozens wounded, as Palestinians marked what they term "the catastrophe" of Israel's founding in 1948."

Israel warns Syria it would lose future war

This is like reading something straight out of the Bible.
clipped from news.yahoo.com

JERUSALEM – Israel's outspoken foreign minister harshly warned Syria Thursday against drawing the Jewish state into another war, saying the Syrian army would be defeated and its regime would collapse in a future conflict.

Lieberman's exceptionally sharp words followed Syrian President Bashar Assad's accusation on Wednesday that Israel was the one avoiding peace, and the Syrian foreign minister's earlier threat that Israeli cities would be attacked in a future conflict.

"Our message must be clear to Assad: 'In the next war, not only will you lose but you and your family will lose power,'" he added.

Syria demands the return of the Golan Heights — the strategic plateau Israel captured in the 1967 Mideast war — as the price of any deal.

"We must make Syria recognize that just as it relinquished its dream of a greater Syria that controls Lebanon ... it will have to relinquish its ultimate demand regarding the Golan Heights," Lieberman said.

Arming of Hezbollah Could Spark Israel-Syria War: US Official

Kibbutz Meggido.Image via Wikipedia

  • "In an interview with Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai published on Sunday, a US official who spoke on condition of anonymity said that “if Syria supplies Hezbollah with surface-to-air missiles (SA-2), war will break out and Tel Aviv will directly strike Damascus.” In addition, the official said Syria trained Hezbollah members in Damascus on how to use the SA-2 missiles. Israel has previously warned the country not to supply Hezbollah with the missiles, according to the US source. “Any possible military attack by Hezbollah against Israel will be met by a ‘harmful war’ on Lebanon. Israel made a mistake in 2006 by not striking Syria during the war with Lebanon, and any new attack from Hezbollah against it will not spare Damascus from a strike,” he added. Israel’s top priority, the official said, is preventing Syria from supplying Hezbollah with the SA-2 missiles. “During the 2006 war in Lebanon, Damascus told Tel Aviv it wanted peace and was not going to side with Hezbollah,” the official alleged. Following the war, however, the United Nations and international intelligence community have been monitoring attempts to smuggle weapons from Syria to Hezbollah, he added. The official also compared South Lebanon after the 2006 war to the situation in the Golan Heights in Syria, which he said has enjoyed a calm climate after a cease-fire agreement was signed between Israel and late Syrian President Hafez al-Assad in 1974. He said Hezbollah’s desire to liberate the Shebaa farms, which is occupied by Israel, does not justify military attacks against the entity. “Launching war with Tel Aviv is not an excuse for Hezbollah.” The official said he does not think a war will break out anytime soon, “unless Syria crosses the line.” End item/ 129"
