$7-a-gallon gas? The easiest way to break America literally. We'd be working just to have gas in the car. Who cares about paying rent.

That's a Harvard University study's estimate of the per-gallon price of the president's global-warming agenda. And Obama made clear this week that this agenda is a part of his plan for addressing the Gulf mess. So what does global-warming legislation have to do with the oil spill? Good question, because such measures wouldn't do a thing to clean up the oil or fix the problems that led to the leak. The answer can be found in Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel's now-famous words, "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste -- and what I mean by that is it's an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before." That sure was true of global-warming policy, and especially the cap-and-trade bill. Emanuel was wrong. The administration shouldn't view each crisis -- including the oil spill -- as an opportunity to be exploited, but as a problem to be addressed. And America can't afford $7-a-gallon gas.

Pelosi: Vote For ObamaCare and We’ll Give You Water And Work

Now with homelessness on the rise and the farmers enraged at how the government destroyed farming in the area, here come the bribes. We’ll give you water and Jobs if you vote for Obamacare! You can almost hear the bribe coming out of the mouth of Pelosi or Rahm Emanuel.  How sickening how 2 Democratic Congressman named Dennis Cardoza and Jim Costa who were both either undecided on Obamacare or against it are now going to vote Yes.  Now thanks to their area being desperate for jobs and water they are going to vote Yes on the destruction of the United States and our Constitution.  Now they are for ObamaCare.

Obama Poised to Use Executive Power to Muscle Through Domestic Agenda

clipped from www.foxnews.com Faced with a resurgent GOP and a largely stalled legislative agenda, President Obama is planning to use his executive powers to forge ahead with his domestic initiatives, including on energy, the environment and the economy, The New York Times reported. "We are reviewing a list of presidential executive orders and directives to get the job done across a front of issues," White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel told the newspaper. The president has a range of powers -- from executive orders to agency initiatives -- that don't require legislative action, Obama was threatening to use his executive power this month to install nominees whose confirmations had been delayed by senators. But he dropped his threat to use recess appointments after Republicans released their holds and allowed 27 nominees to be voted on and confirmed. Click here to read the full New York Times story.
