White House Blasts Franklin Graham for Birther Comment

The White House angrily lashed out Monday against renowned evangelical leader the Rev. Franklin Graham for questioning President Obama's birthplace.

Graham’s sin? The son of the Rev. Billy Graham questioned on ABC’s “This Week” why the president has refused to produce and show a copy of what Graham described as his birth certificate.

Obama, Graham said, "has some issues to deal with" when it comes to his birth certificate.

"It's unfortunate that a religious leader would use Easter Sunday to make preposterous" statements, White House press secretary Jay Carney responded Monday, according to The Hill.

In 2008 during Obama's campaign for president, he released a document known as a “Certification of Live Birth.” The document, which is not considered a birth certificate, indicated Obama was born in Hawaii.

But Obama has stubbornly refused to release his full Birth Certificate, detailing such information as the actual location in Hawaii he was born, the time of birth, and the attending physician.

The younger Graham has irked the Obama White House before — the Pentagon revoked his invitation to a prayer ceremony last year after it was revealed he called Islam an "evil" religion in 2001, The Hill noted. He also claimed last year that Obama was born a Muslim.

Franklin Graham: World’s Christians in Grave Danger

But, many today actually live a Tribulation lifestyle that the news doesn't seem to ever want to speak about. Check this out about the Muslim Brotherhood. You might be surprised. But, then again maybe not.

The Muslim Brotherhood, with the complicity of the Obama administration, has infiltrated the U.S. government at the highest levels and is influencing American policy that leaves the world’s Christians in grave danger, warns internationally known evangelist Franklin Graham

“The Muslim Brotherhood is very strong and active here in our country,” Graham tells Newsmax. “We have these people advising our military and State Department. We’ve brought in Muslims to tell us how to make policy toward Muslim countries.

“It’s like a farmer asking a fox, ‘How do I protect my hen house?’"

That same Muslim Brotherhood is fomenting much of the rebellion and the deteriorating social order roiling the Middle East, forcing millions of Christians to flee for their lives, says Graham, son of beloved evangelist Dr. Billy Graham, and founder of The Samaritan’s Purse international charity.

“Under [Egypt’s Hosni] Mubarek and [Jordan’s] King Hussein and other moderate leaders, Christians had been protected,” Graham says. 11 million Christians live in Egypt and I ear for them, because if the Muslim Brotherhood comes to power, you’re going to see a great exodus of Christians. Same thing in Tunisia and Lebanon. I fear for the church because the Muslim Brotherhood is going to be a very terrible thing.”

Obama Admin to Defend Day of Prayer in Court

clipped from www.cbn.com The U.S. Justice Department has filed an appeal against the ruling by a Wisconsin Judge who said the annual Day of Prayer event is unconstitutional. Some legal analysts believe the case could go all the way to the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, the army is considering disinviting Evangelist Franklin Graham from speaking at the Pentagon's National Day of Prayer event. Some muslims have protested because of comments Billy Graham's son made in the past calling Islam "wicked" and "false." "I want them to know that they don't have to die in a car bomb, don't have to die in some kind of holy war to be accepted by God. But it's through faith in Jesus Christ and Christ alone," Graham said. "But when you look at Islam, I love the people of Islam but the religion, I do not agree with the religion at all. If you look at what the religion does for just to women, women alone, it is just horrid." Graham also said it is up to the military to decide if he will speak at the prayer event on May 6.
