Video: Hamid Karzai warns Nato not to act as occupier in Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan- Afghan President Hamid Kar...Image via Wikipediahttp://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/afghanistan/8547384/Hamid-Karzai-warns-Nato-not-to-act-as-occupier-in-Afghanistan.html
Speaking after a spate of civilian casualties caused by Nato bombing runs, Mr Karzai said: "I want to warn Nato forces that the repeat of their air strikes on Afghan homes are not allowed any more and will not be accepted by the people of Afghanistan, there is no reason for this kind of attack."
On Sunday a Nato raid on a compound in Helmand's Nawzad district led to the deaths of at least nine people, most of them children.
Mr Karzai warned that Nato would find itself unwelcome in his country if it did not treat their relationship with respect.
“Our treatment with Nato is from the point of view of an ally, if it turns to the other, to the behaviour of an occupation, that of course the Afghan people know how to deal with that," he said.
The argument over Nato tactics comes at a time of increased tension in Afghanistan with the Taliban launching a spring offensive in early May.

France24 - Bin Laden says France will pay a high price for its policies in Afghanistan

Bin Laden says France will pay a 'high price' for its policies in Afghanistan
In a purported audio tape aired on Al Jazeera television on Friday, al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden warned French President Nicolas Sarkozy that his refusal to withdraw troops from Afghanistan was a "green light" to kill French hostages.
By Elena CASAS (video)
FRANCE 24 (text)

Who are al Qaeda’s French hostages?
Intelligence agent Denis Allex (probably not his real name), was captured on 14 July 2009 in Somalia, possibly Mogadishu, by al Qaeda-linked militant group al Shabaab.
Five French nationals, a Togolese and a Malagasy – most of them employees of energy group Areva – have been held hostage since 16 September 2010, when they were kidnapped at a uranium enrichment site in Arlit, north Niger. They’re being held somewhere in the Sahel, possibly in Mali, by the al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb movement (AQIM).
n a message specifically targeting France, al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden warned that Paris would pay a “high price” for its policies and that the fate of French hostages would depend on the pullout of French troops from “Muslim lands”, in a purported audiotape broadcast on Arabic news network Al Jazeera on Friday. “We repeat the same message to you: The release of your prisoners in the hands of our brothers is linked to the withdrawal of your soldiers from our country," bin Laden said. "The refusal of your president [Nicolas Sarkozy] to withdraw from Afghanistan is the result of his obedience of America an

Virtual "bomb factory" found at home, prosecutors say
Home's renter pleaded not guilty to 28 charges involving explosive devices

— A North County man who prosecutors allege turned his rental home into a virtual “bomb factory” by manufacturing a large amount of highly dangerous and volatile homemade explosives pleaded not guilty Monday to a host of charges and was ordered held on $5 million bail.

Authorities discovered inside George Djura Jakubec’s home near Interstate 15 in Escondido “the largest quantity of this type of homemade explosives found in one location in the history of the United States,” Deputy District Attorney Terri Perez said.

Thirteen homemade grenades wrapped with shrapnel and nine completed detonators also were found. The grenades were not active, but the ingredients needed to make them so were found nearby, Perez said.

She told Vista Superior Court Judge Marshall Hockett that the three types of explosives found in the house or in the backyard are the types used extensively by insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Outside of court, Perez said investigators have not determined what Jakubec, 54, was planning to do with the weapons and explosives.

The explosives found at Jakubec’s home on Via Scott were Hexamethylene triperoxide diamine (HTMD), Pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN), and Erythritol tetranitrate (ETN).

The Unknown Soldiers

Five coalition troops have been killed so far on Sunday, according to
NATO
, in the fight against insurgents and terrorists in Afghanistan. In an interview with
The Washington Post
published the same day,
this is how
Afghan President Hamid Karzai thanked the men and women of our allied forces for their sacrifices to combat the evil threatening his land and the world.
"The time has come to reduce military operations," Karzai said. "The time has come to reduce the presence of, you know, boots in Afghanistan . . . to reduce the intrusiveness into the daily Afghan life."
If you are a regular or even occasional reader of
The Unknown Soldiers
, you know that I rarely write about politics, as I strongly believe the subject is a distraction from the heroism of our men and women on the battlefield. Yet when a world leader, especially representing the very nation for which over one thousand Americans have died to liberate, it is impossible to sit on the sidelines.
How dare President Karzai refer to our troops, who help build schools, roads, and hospitals, not
to mention confront the terrorists killing and maiming innocent civilians, as intrusive to Afghans. If American Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, and Airmen are displaying 'intrusiveness,' what does he think
of the brutal militants planting bombs in villages, oppressing women, and using children as human shields?

Afghan Police Unit Defects to Taliban - NYTimes.com

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/02/world/asia/02afghan.html?_r=1&partner=rss&emc=rss

KABUL, Afghanistan — For months, American and Afghan officials have been promoting a plan to persuade masses of rank-and-file Taliban fighters to change sides and join the government. The tactic, known as “reintegration,” is one of the big hopes for turning the tide in the war.
Naweed Haqjoo/European Pressphoto Agency
Musa Khan Akbarzada, provincial governor in Ghazni, said a search was under way for missing officers.

But the Taliban, it appears, have reintegration plans of their own. On Monday morning, they claimed to have put them into effect.
In Khogeyani, a volatile area southwest of the capital, the entire police force on duty Monday morning appears to have defected to the Taliban side. A spokesman for the Taliban said the movement’s fighters made contact with the Khogeyani’s police force, cut a deal, and then sacked and burned the station. As many as 19 officers vanished, as did their guns, trucks, uniforms and food.
Even the local police chief, who missed the attack, said he suspected a defection en masse.
“This was not an attack, but a plot,” said Mohammed Yasin, the chief of the Khogeyani police force. “The Taliban and the police made a deal.”
A spokesman for the Taliban, Zabiullah Mujahid, said the Afghan officers decided to defect after “learning the facts about the Taliban.”
“We never force people to join us,” said Mr. Mujahid, whose name is fictitious. “The police joined us voluntarily and are happy to work with us, and to start the holy war shoulder to shoulder with their Taliban brothers.”

President Bill Clinton’s Senior Military Aide Robert “Buzz” Patterson tells Newsmax that a fundraiser and “close acquaintance” of Barack Obama should be prosecuted for treason for aiding America’s enemies.
Patterson, a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and best-selling author, also says morale among American forces in Afghanistan is poor and the troops have “absolutely no faith” in their commander-in-chief Obama’s intention of winning the war.
Patterson’s latest book is “Conduct Unbecoming: How Barack Obama Is Destroying the Military and Endangering Our Security.” In an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, he was asked why he believes Obama is damaging the military.

OUR SOLDIERS HAVE BOUNTIES ON THEIR HEADS.... $1,000 PER AMERICAN SOLDIER. $6,000 PER AMERICAN VEHICLE... PAY ATTENTION AMERICA. These are our sons, daughters, husbands, brothers, fathers.... - Constitutional Emergency

At least five Iranian companies stationed in Afghanistan are covertly funding Taliban militants, paying them salaries of $233 a month with a
$1,000 bonus for killing an American soldier, according to the Sunday
Times of London.
Blowing up a US military vehicle is worth $6,000, making insurgents better paid than any Afghan police officer or soldier.
"Iran will never stop funding us, because Americans are dangerous for them as well," said a Taliban treasurer, who travels from the
mountainous Wardak province to an Iranian construction company that
operates out of Kabul to pick up the cash.

MONEY MAN: The regime of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (right) is paying to attack GIs in Afghanistan.
"The money we get is not dirty. It is for jihad," he said.
The treasurer said he has picked up almost $79,000 in the past six months.
Afghan intelligence and Taliban sources told the Times that the firms -- set up with foreign aid money within the past six months -- provide
cash for a network of district Taliban treasurers to pay battlefield
expenses and bonuses for killing the enemy and destroying their
vehicles.
The Iranian companies win contracts to supply materials and logistics to Afghans involved in reconstruction. The money often comes in the form of aid from foreign donors.
Profits are transferred through poorly regulated Afghan banks -- including Kabul Bank, which is partly owned by President Hamid Karzai's brother Mahmood
-- to Tehran and Dubai.
From there, the money returns to Afghanistan through the informal Islamic banking system known as hawala.
"This means the companies involved in funding the insurgency can cover their tracks easily. It makes it harder for us to trace the cash flow,"
a senior Afghan intelligence official said.
He said the Iranian companies had been formed with the intention of winning contracts funded by foreign aid so that donors' cash could be channeled
into the insurgency.
The Iranian embassy in Kabul refused to respond to the allegations.

* Bilderberg 2010: What we have learned

Check out the link for the entire article.
clipped from www.guardian.co.uk
The lines have been drawn. Whose side are you on?
Weary and bramble-scratched, elated by the press coverage, and sick of riot vans and lukewarm Spanish omelette baguettes, we return from Bilderberg 2010 with the following thoughts uppermost in our tired mind:
• 'Global cooling' is on the cards
Check out the agenda for Bilderberg 2010: "Financial reform, security, cyber technology, energy, Pakistan, Afghanistan, world food problem, global cooling, social networking, medical science, EU-US relations." That list is a window into your future. Don't think for one minute that it isn't. And don't ignore it, because it isn't ignoring you.
If I had to pick the point when Bilderberg finally broke through into mainstream news, it would be when the BBC News Blog published a round-up of Bilderberg reports. Twelve months ago, this would have been barely conceivable. This year, Kissinger must be spitting chips.
Do this: Look at the list of participants and ask yourself one simple question: what's their bottom line?

Obama’s New World Order

Seal of the President of the United StatesImage via Wikipedia

Not sure why this president is so hell bent on Global Control and Enforcement. So much so that he can't even concentrate on the major problems of the Only Country hes is supposed to be running.
Global Government. New World Order, and trying to get The U.S. to be under UN's laws. I just don't get it.

To better understand this article you may want to take the time and read through it all at the link below. New World Order is no Joke. Plus, it's meant to take away all Rights we have as a Nation and our Constitutional laws.
clipped from www.humanevents.com

President Obama released his blueprint last week for pursuing a new world order that offers no compelling vision to guide the ship of state. Rather it dangerously shifts our military’s focus from counterterrorism to nation building and subordinates aspects of our foreign policy to international organizations like the United Nations.

Obama’s assessment of the current strategic environment is bleak. “We live in a time of sweeping change where events far beyond our shores impact the safety, security, and prosperity of Americans,” Obama writes.

Obama’s nation building plan is a whole of government effort. He intends to assemble a civilian expeditionary capacity to join the military in nation building as we have seen in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Obama’s plan is to fight the last war over again—terrorism and insurgencies—an option the American people should reject.
The UN has proven to be a corrupt anti-Western arena for the world’s malcontents to waste our money on radical and inefficient programs.

UN urges end to CIA drone attacks

This is why a One World Government is not only a very bad idea, but extremely worse for countries to own their own land. Free from other countries dictatorships.

Is it OK that the drone hurt innocent people? NO, War is not pretty no matter how anyone looks at it.
What they really want here is our soldiers to die.

You know they should have thought about all this before they attacked America and continue to do so.
Hmmm? There's a thought for you.

A United Nations human rights official has called for the US to end the CIA's control over a programme of drone attacks that has killed hundreds of people in northwest Pakistan.

Philip Alston, the special rapporteur on extrajudicial executions, issued a report on Wednesday which concluded that the US spy agency does not provide enough transparency or accountability for the programme.

Alston praised a recent military investigation that blamed human error for the death of 23 civilians in a drone attack in Afghanistan's Uruzgan province in February.

'Playstation mentality'

Alston also said that CIA agents could be prosecuted for carrying out drone attacks, because - unlike military personnel - they do not have immunity for their actions.

"CIA personnel could be prosecuted for murder under the domestic law of any country in which they conduct targeted killings, and could also be prosecuted for violations of applicable US law," Alston wrote.
