Prophecy, Doom and Gloom or a Promise Of Hope?

Image via WikipediaAs more and more people are joining in and following Today's World News. Many have replied in different ways. Some knowing the Promise God gave us are very excited about what is happening World Wide. Yet others, seem to focus more on what many call Doom and Gloom.

I want to dedicate this post to those. Who feel the fear and are scared at what they are seeing in Today's World News. With so much happening all at once. These past 2 years have been harder than ever to keep up with each Prophecy being fulfilled right before our very eyes. Don't believe it? Take a look at some of the news going on right now.

Now, why would anyone want to keep up with all this bad news? For one of the reasons would be what Jesus told us to do right before he left.

Mark 13
33 Take you heed, watch and pray: for you know not when the time is. 34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. 35 Watch you therefore: for you know not when the master of the house comes, at even, or at midnight, or at the cock-crowing, or in the morning: 36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say to you I say to all, Watch.

Matthew 24
43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

In order to understand why it is so exciting to see all these things happen such as this.

It seems many will not take the time to read through it all to see this part. The area of our Hope.
Matthew 24
²⁹ “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. ³⁰ Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. ³¹ And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

As we see so much of this happening we always need to remember. This life will have persecutions and trials. Nobody ever said that becoming a Christian would be easy. If they did tell you this. THEY ARE WRONG.
See Christian means to be Christ Like. or at least try to be. We look at the life of Jesus. He is our Roll Model so to speak. Remember they Murdered Him, though He did nothing wrong. Yet after 3 days He rose from the dead.

Mark 16

He Is Risen

 ¹ Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. ² Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. ³ And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?” ⁴ But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away—for it was very large. ⁵ And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.
⁶ But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. ⁷ But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”
⁸ So they went out quickly^[a] and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

This alone Give us the great news of redemption and our Salvation.

The Great Commission

   ¹⁴ Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. ¹⁵ And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. ¹⁶ He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. ¹⁷ And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; ¹⁸ they^[b] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Christ Ascends to God’s Right Hand

   ¹⁹ So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. ²⁰ And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen



I know many will try to claim that Jesus Words at the end here are not in there. But, I disagree. Takes a lot of nerve to try to removes Jesus' own Words. You will see why towards the end.

Anyway. This life is nothing to fear. There will be wars and earthquakes, disease and famine. Why? because of The Sin of the Nations not just now but throughout generations. We live in a world of sin. But, this is just our trial. .

1 Peter 1
16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”[c]
17 And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; 18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you 21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Our Hope in Christ is a Powerful thing.

The Comfort of Christ’s Coming

 13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.[b]
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

You see those who do not know The Christ, (Messiah) Jesus. All this stuff going on in the World Today is probably very scary. Why. Because the World in all it's teachings Through Science, Religions, Universities even Elementary Schools. teach no hope. Jesus and our Father in Heaven does.

We can either believe or not to believe what was written thousands of years ago. I do have this to say. If we fear here in America what the rest of the World is already going through. What Hope do we have?

Our hope is in Jesus The Christ. Our lives do not end here. This shell what we call a body will be removed and die. While we have a choice where we go after that. Sad part is our other choice is the same place satan decided to go. Hell or Sheol The Lake of burning fire and brimstone. Yes it's real.

As the World cries Peace, Peace we will not see that peace until Jesus Christ comes back to take His place here on Earth. Only then true Peace will come over the Earth.

The Great White Throne Judgment

¹¹ Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. ¹² And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God,^[c] and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. ¹³ The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. ¹⁴ Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.^{[d] 15} And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Yet it is still not the end. The Promise of Hope still comes later on. Though a thousand years of Peace is very cool. Our future Promise of Hope. where there are no more tears or pain or suffering.

Revelation 21

All Things Made New

 ¹ Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. ² Then I, John,^[a] saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. ³ And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. ⁴ And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
⁵ Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me,^[b] “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
⁶ And He said to me, “It is done!^[c] I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. ⁷ He who overcomes shall inherit all things,^[d] and I will be his God and he shall be My son. ⁸ But the cowardly, unbelieving,^[e] abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

We have a choice to make. It's up to you to either live in fear or the Hope of Jesus Christ. If you don't know Him yet, You may want to. He couldn't make it any easier. If you believe He is real and alive. He died for you. Your sins, it don't matter what you did. You can still be saved. Talk to him OUT LOUD. Tell him you want to know Him. Tell  him you want him in your life. and confess and accept him as your Lord and Savior. You have to mean it though. After that. Learn more find a good Bible believing church if possible anymore. But, at least Read the Bible. He will help you learn and do the rest. Pray until you know his voice. He will speak to you. May sound crazy. But, he is faithful to those who love him.
Sorry for making such a long post here. But I felt it to be very important with everything posted here on Todays World News Lately.

A Warning
