Obama Declares War on Gadgets, Except for Himself

He also says we should use less energy in our homes by replacing normal light bulbs with ones that use less energy, by buying smaller TV’s and by generally reducing the quality of our lives. After all, to fight this life threatening problem we all have to take a step back. Except for him, that is. He uses about the same amount of energy every year as whole villages. US President Barack Obama “With iPods and iPads and Xboxes and PlayStations, — none of which I know how to work — information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation,” Obama said. Obama’s real problem isn’t with the iPod and iPad, but with the fact that citizens are now more easily informed than ever before. After all, as every other leftist he needs them to be as uninformed
