Cisco Accelerates Globalization Strategy From India

Chile for technological innovation in the mining industry, Brazil for innovations in the forthcoming Olympic Games, and India as its worldwide centre for innovation. According to Cisco Executive Elfrink, Company’s 20% of its top leadership is now based in India and that is in line with company’s policy of being closer to where the innovation is taking place.

Cisco Systems is accelerating its globalisation strategy out of India, Economic Times reported. This is a huge boost for the Indian Economy as it has been entrusted by the leading supplier of networking equipment and network management on the economy showing signs of revival.

Earlier Accenture, IBM, Microsoft and Google has already built significant presence in India. Microsoft has one of its largest development centres in Hyderabad, India.

Microsoft has launched various products built from India; JC++ is one of first major product to be launched from India for Microsoft. The software giant has only stepped up high end product building works in the country, and Google learned and quickly picked it up. Google has Googleplex in Hyderabad, and it is believed to be one of the largest development centres for the Search Giant globally.

These developments have put India as one of the Technology hub of the World. Things can only get better from here.
