Passwords to become fossils by 2017 RFID, Biometrics, HandScan ID cards

Traceless Biometrics Flowchart
Image via Wikipedia
As many of you already know I've spent a lot of time searching and studying this very topic. It seems the more it comes out the more hush, hush seems to come out on this very topic. Anyone that know anything about the Bible knows what this system actually is.
It's not rocket science to figure out what the technology brings. After all Eventually we will no longer be able to buy or sell without it right?
As I continue to keep you up to date in all this. Here are a few more articles below that just may interest you all.
But first I want to add this very scripture yet one more time for those that may not know it.
Revelation 13
15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or[f] the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.

Passwords to become fossils by 2017?

By | January 1, 2012, 8:30am PST
Summary: IBM’s predictions for the next five years — fossilized passwords and biometric scanning for all.

IBM recently released its annual tradition of five predictions for five years in to the future — among them, the belief that passwords will become redundant.
Generation Y, rejoice! No longer will you struggle with attempting to remember the password for your Facebook account, Twitter, Gmail, games networks — the list goes on. We’ve all had those moments, cursing under our breath, when after three attempts you are locked out just as you remember the actual word and number combination. Or even worse, forced to fill out mud-smear captchas until your eyes start to swim.
According to IBM, future generations won’t need to suffer this kind of hardship.

Will Biometrics Go Mainstream In 2012?

IBM thinks so, and the US-VISIT program may give a glimpse into the future. But what about data theft?

As a kid, I marveled at movies featuring retina or hand scanners, or instant DNA analysis to authenticate the bad guy to his vault. As an adult, I figured these devices would mean the end of passwords and spoofing and would bring the collision of sci-fi future and real-world security. Sadly, I still don't have a retina scanner at my desk. What I do have are so many passwords that I need a password manager to keep them straight.
I don't blame companies for hesitating to invest--biometrics systems still have problems, despite IBM’s prediction of advances. A prime example is how some fingerprint readers fell victim to the highly advanced gummy bear attack, in which a user acquires a gummy bear, applies it to the reader, and presses down. The sensor reads the fingerprint from the last user, which has now transferred to the gummy bear. The reader is defeated, the gummy-wielding attacker is authenticated as the previous user, and the system has become worthless. Organizations have been forced to replace hardware and software in light of this attack and revert to legacy methods, such as passwords, that are not vulnerable to rubbery candy.

ORONO, Maine — Hand scanners are now commonly used for students to gain entry to University of Maine dining halls as a way to foil the costly sharing of student identification cards.
The hand scanners, installed in Hilltop, Wells and York dining commons last semester, are mandatory for all students with an unlimited meal plan. Within the next few years the university plans to require their use by all students who eat at the dining halls.
The scanners were installed to keep costs down and eliminate the sharing of MaineCards, a practice that can cost UMaine up to $4,100 per card, the price of a meal plan for an academic year, according to Director of Auxiliary Services Dan Sturrup and Director of Dining Operations Kathy Kittiridge.
“The scanners were installed to ensure the integrity of our contracts so we can keep our prices low,” Sturrup said in an interview.
“If people are sharing meal plans, it increases food costs, which in turn increases the costs overall for students,” Kittiridge added.
The scanners cost UMaine $331 per unit. The total expense was about $5,000, including installation costs, which came directly out of the auxiliary services budget, according to Sturrup and Director of Technology Management Benny Veenhof.

Internet Giants Threaten Mass Blackout over SOPA

http://facecrooks.com/Internet-Safety-Privacy/internet-giants-threaten-mass-blackout-over-sopa.html
The Stop Internet Piracy Act – SOPA is to the Internet what a giant meteor would be to Earth. Hopefully, this particular meteor is still pretty rough around the edges and will miss its mark, but it is going to need your help to do it. Its presence alone is enough to make an entire hoard of netizens take up virtual torches and pitchforks. This isn’t just your regular angry Internet mob, as they’ve got the weight of some pretty huge corporate giants behind them. Wikipedia founder, Jimmy Wales, led the protest, threatening to shut down the Internet’s virtual Fount of Knowledge in protest to  SOPA. Wiki isn’t alone in the protest either. Google, Twitter, Foursquare, Zynga, LinkedIn, eBay, PayPal, Etsy, IAC, Mozilla, OpenDNS. Yahoo! and – yes – Facebook have also decided to join in on the protest. It’s going to be a huge sneak peek into what would happen in an Internet Armageddon.

Will Google, Facebook, others 'nuke' Internet over SOPA?

See this list of Companies here.

If Wikipedia Jimmy Wales' threat to turn off the crowd-sourced encyclopedia to protest the Stop Internet Piracy Act (SOPA) sent you into a cold sweat, you won't welcome this news.
Google, Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Zynga — and oh sweet baby Jesus no! — Etsy, along with other Internet-based companies take a "nuclear option" and "go simultaneously dark" in protest of the bill, and to "highlight the fundamental danger the legislation poses to the function of the Internet," ExtremeTech reports:
There’s been no formal decision on the matter, and the companies in question obviously risk consumer anger and backlash over any suspension of services. There is, however, safety in numbers — and a few simple sentences identifying why the blackout is in place will ensure that the majority of the rage flows in the proper direction.

New Pentagon defense strategy puts more focus on Asia?

http://news.yahoo.com/obama-plans-cut-tens-thousands-ground-troops-131927738.html
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama unveiled a defense strategy on Thursday that calls for greater U.S. military presence in Asia and envisions cutting troops in Europe as the Pentagon seeks to reduce spending by nearly half a trillion dollars after a decade of war.
Obama, in a Pentagon news conference alongside Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, released a strategy document that calls for the United States to maintain a force that can win one war while still having the capability to deter the objectives of an adversary in a second conflict.
That is a shift away from the military's often repeated goal of being able to fight and prevail in two wars in different theaters simultaneously.

Obama’s Signing Statement on NDAA: I have the power to detain Americans

United States Department of Defense

The more I look into this new bill signed by our President on New Years Eve the more I have to question it. What is the Law of America now? Do we Live under the Constitution still? Or this Law now passed by Obama? There is no possible way we can do both.

Obama’s Signing Statement on NDAA: I have the power to detain Americans… but I won’t

Aaron Dykes
Infowars.com
January 1, 2012
As Americans look upon the treacherous legislation passed under NDAA 2012, it it should first be remembered that the very bill President Obama threatened to veto was controversial due to the language the Obama White House itself pressured Congress to add to the bill, according to Sen. Carl Levin.
Below is the signing statement issued by the White House in full:
————-
THE WHITE HOUSE
Office of the Press Secretary
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 31, 2011
Statement by the President on H.R. 1540
Today I have signed into law H.R. 1540, the “National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012.” I have signed the Act chiefly because it authorizes funding for the defense of the United States and its interests abroad, crucial services for service members and their families, and vital national security programs that must be renewed. In hundreds of separate sections totaling over 500 pages, the Act also contains critical Administration initiatives to control the spiraling health care costs of the Department of Defense (DoD), to develop counterterrorism initiatives abroad, to build the security capacity of key partners, to modernize the force, and to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of military operations worldwide.

The Real Problem with the National Defense Authorization Act

January 2, 2012

By Laurence M. Vance
For each of the past forty-eight years, Congress has passed the misnamed National Defense Authorization Act to set forth the budget of the Defense Department. President Obama just signed into law the latest version of the NDAA, but not without some controversy.

The House originally passed this 1145-page bill (H.R.1540) back on May 26 by a vote of 322-96. Only six Republicans voted against the bill (Justin Amash, John Campbell, Jason Chaffetz, John Duncan, Tom McClintock, & Ron Paul).

The 926-page Senate version of the bill (S.1867) was passed on December 1 by a vote of 93-7. Only three Republicans voted against the bill (Tom Coburn, Mike Lee, & Rand Paul). The Senate then incorporated the measure in a now 908-page H.R.1540 as an amendment.

President Obama Signs Indefinite Detention Bill Into Law

This is what I find very sad. This very Law that just past should be all over the Main Stream News. Yet, as I keep looking I see nothing on it whatsoever?
Whether or not you like Alex. He has this totally right. This is something that should be all over the News and it is not.
Wake Up America it is now law.
This new law breaks so many rights the Constitution gives the Citizens of the United States of America. I cannot for the life of me understand how or why this is not getting more coverage. This law is taking away your rights as an American, and this isn't even being talked about? Really?
Take a look at what he is saying here. I will be posting more on this shortly. But first.

This is just one of the Amendments In our Constitution.
Amendment VI
Right to a fair trial In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed; which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defence.

The ACLU post this the other day. Located here. http://www.aclu.org/national-security/president-obama-signs-indefinite-detention-bill-law

WASHINGTON – President Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) into law today. The statute contains a sweeping worldwide indefinite detention provision. While President Obama issued a signing statement saying he had “serious reservations” about the provisions, the statement only applies to how his administration would use the authorities granted by the NDAA, and would not affect how the law is interpreted by subsequent administrations. The White House had threatened to veto an earlier version of the NDAA, but reversed course shortly before Congress voted on the final bill. “President Obama's action today is a blight on his legacy because he will forever be known as the president who signed indefinite detention without charge or trial into law,”

Let's take a look at more of what our actually Laws of the Land has to say about this. Otherwise known as the Constitution of the United States of America. In the Bill of Rights.
http://www.ushistory.org/documents/amendments.htm

Amendment I

Freedoms, Petitions, Assembly
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Amendment II

Right to bear arms
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Amendment III

Quartering of soldiers
No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

Amendment IV

Search and arrest
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Be sure to read the rest of them at this link.
http://www.ushistory.org/documents/amendments.htm

What I find even worse is that it take News from other Countries to get more information on this. Does anyone else find something wrong with this picture?

Yet even more of this was talked about here. at.
http://zionistoutrage.com/2012/01/01/urgent-obama-nullifies-bill-of-rights-declares-all-of-america-a-military-battleground/

Urgent: Obama nullifies Bill of Rights, declares all of America a military battleground

While America was out partying last night, drinking it up and celebrating the end of 2011, Obama quietly signed the NDAA, the National Defense Authorization Act, which nullifies the Bill of Rights and declares America to be a “battleground” in which all American citizens can be arrested, imprisoned, tortured and even killed with no due process.

Also another site posted this much.

Obama’s NDAA Signing Statement is Just Smoke & Mirrors

 http://mountainrepublic.net/2012/01/02/obamas-ndaa-signing-statement-is-just-smoke-mirrors/
Specifically, Obama wrote:
My administration will not authorize the indefinite military detention without trial of American citizens … Indeed, I believe that doing so would break with our most important traditions and values as a nation.
But a closer reading shows that the signing statement is just smoke and mirrors.
Specifically, it was Obama - not Congress – who originally requested that an exception for American citizens be removed from the bill. As such, his professed reluctance is wholly disingenuous.
Moreover, Obama signed a bill which would allow future presidents to indefinitely detain U.S. citizens, and his signing statement in no way limits their power to run roughshod over our rights.

Federal Government Takes Final Step to Suspend Constitution

http://RTR.org | In what can only be considered a tragic irony, the U.S. Senate passed out of the final conference committee the controversial National Defense Authorization Act of 2012, coinciding with the 220th Anniversary of the ratification of the Bill of Rights. Section 1031 of the National Defense Authorization Act otherwise known as the NDAA, provides broad authority for the federal government to use the military in domestic operations in order to detain Americans indefinitely and without trial. Such a move not only whitewashes the natural rights of Americans, whereby even publicly criticizing the federal government can now rise to the purposefully vague definition of a "belligerent act", it also sits in direct violation of "Posse Comitatus" an 1878 law forbidding use of the military at home and against Americans. Here are Congressman Paul's remarks on the bill: [ROLL PAUL CLIP]

As Congressman Paul stated, the bill requires absolutely no supporting evidence to issue the order of detention, instead leaving it up to the whim of the Executive Branch to act as Judge, Jury, and in some cases having already decreed the power to assassinate Americans earlier in the year, executioner.

The danger behind allowing any law that includes such arbitrary terms, as "belligerent act" simply cannot be overstated as the Department of Homeland Security has already published multiple reports labeling those who support the Constitution or protest the FEDERAL RESERVE to be "domestic belligerents" and thus in the eyes of the federal government a threat to National Security.
