Obama’s Signing Statement on NDAA: I have the power to detain Americans

The more I look into this new bill signed by our President on New Years Eve the more I have to question it. What is the Law of America now? Do we Live under the Constitution still? Or this Law now passed by Obama? There is no possible way we can do both.

As Americans look upon the treacherous legislation passed under NDAA 2012, it it should first be remembered that the very bill President Obama threatened to veto was controversial due to the language the Obama White House itself pressured Congress to add to the bill, according to Sen. Carl Levin.

Today I have signed into law H.R. 1540, the “National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012.” I have signed the Act chiefly because it authorizes funding for the defense of the United States and its interests abroad, crucial services for service members and their families, and vital national security programs that must be renewed. In hundreds of separate sections totaling over 500 pages, the Act also contains critical Administration initiatives to control the spiraling health care costs of the Department of Defense (DoD), to develop counterterrorism initiatives abroad, to build the security capacity of key partners, to modernize the force, and to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of military operations worldwide.

For each of the past forty-eight years, Congress has passed the misnamed National Defense Authorization Act to set forth the budget of the Defense Department. President Obama just signed into law the latest version of the NDAA, but not without some controversy.

The House originally passed this 1145-page bill (H.R.1540) back on May 26 by a vote of 322-96. Only six Republicans voted against the bill (Justin Amash, John Campbell, Jason Chaffetz, John Duncan, Tom McClintock, & Ron Paul).

The 926-page Senate version of the bill (S.1867) was passed on December 1 by a vote of 93-7. Only three Republicans voted against the bill (Tom Coburn, Mike Lee, & Rand Paul). The Senate then incorporated the measure in a now 908-page H.R.1540 as an amendment.

Happy New Year. No more rights to a Fair Trial.

This is what I find very sad. This very Law that just past should be all over the Main Stream News. Yet, as I keep looking I see nothing on it whatsoever?
Whether or not you like Alex. He has this totally right. This is something that should be all over the News and it is not.
Wake Up America it is now law.
This new law breaks so many rights the Constitution gives the Citizens of the United States of America. I cannot for the life of me understand how or why this is not getting more coverage. This law is taking away your rights as an American, and this isn't even being talked about? Really?

Right to a fair trial In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed; which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defence.

WASHINGTON – President Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) into law today. The statute contains a sweeping worldwide indefinite detention provision. While President Obama issued a signing statement saying he had “serious reservations” about the provisions, the statement only applies to how his administration would use the authorities granted by the NDAA, and would not affect how the law is interpreted by subsequent administrations. The White House had threatened to veto an earlier version of the NDAA, but reversed course shortly before Congress voted on the final bill. “President Obama's action today is a blight on his legacy because he will forever be known as the president who signed indefinite detention without charge or trial into law,”

Specifically, Obama wrote:

My administration will not authorize the indefinite military detention without trial of American citizens … Indeed, I believe that doing so would break with our most important traditions and values as a nation.

But a closer reading shows that the signing statement is just smoke and mirrors.
Specifically, it was Obama - not Congress – who originally requested that an exception for American citizens be removed from the bill. As such, his professed reluctance is wholly disingenuous.
Moreover, Obama signed a bill which would allow future presidents to indefinitely detain U.S. citizens, and his signing statement in no way limits their power to run roughshod over our rights.

Federal Government Takes Final Step to Suspend Constitution

http://RTR.org | In what can only be considered a tragic irony, the U.S. Senate passed out of the final conference committee the controversial National Defense Authorization Act of 2012, coinciding with the 220th Anniversary of the ratification of the Bill of Rights. Section 1031 of the National Defense Authorization Act otherwise known as the NDAA, provides broad authority for the federal government to use the military in domestic operations in order to detain Americans indefinitely and without trial. Such a move not only whitewashes the natural rights of Americans, whereby even publicly criticizing the federal government can now rise to the purposefully vague definition of a "belligerent act", it also sits in direct violation of "Posse Comitatus" an 1878 law forbidding use of the military at home and against Americans. As Congressman Paul stated, the bill requires absolutely no supporting evidence to issue the order of detention, instead leaving it up to the whim of the Executive Branch to act as Judge, Jury, and in some cases having already decreed the power to assassinate Americans earlier in the year, executioner.

The danger behind allowing any law that includes such arbitrary terms, as "belligerent act" simply cannot be overstated as the Department of Homeland Security has already published multiple reports labeling those who support the Constitution or protest the FEDERAL RESERVE to be "domestic belligerents" and thus in the eyes of the federal government a threat to National Security.

Finally. It's nice to see the REAL NEWS about all this. It's not politics. It's about our Freedom and our Constitutional Rights as Americans. Not a Democracy. We are a Republic. Not a MOB, What is going to be the Media's excuse for this one? Republican, Democrats and The Church needs to wake up. Now is that time to do something instead of sitting around complaining calling them names, like is see so many doing right now. Stop believing the Media The first and second amendments go hand in hand. I wonder how many people know them both today?

While Average Americans sit around gripping about the other side of politics. A movement is happening where not just one side is voicing what they believe and know. While Many and I mean many people are trying to make this all about Political issues and elections. The reality is this. We all have a chance to stand up right now. Instead of gripping and calling people names online thinking it's about taking away your jobs. We should be out there teaching and showing the Truth in all this.
I see the Tea Party calling these people Mobs for going out for doing exactly what they are doing. Yet, I have also come to realize that the Tea Party somehow is making all this Political as well? The really Tea Party should be out in the middle of all this.

I have seen Christians complaining how Islam is in the streets praying. I'm not sure what they expect if they are not out in the Streets Praying in a time like this.

30,000 move on to Liberty Plaza! No Arrests

Anyone that has kept up with Today's World News should know by now this was going to come. It was just a matter of time. If the people who think they run this Country don't wake up to the fact the People have had enough. This just may get a bit ugly. We have watched world wide the people in Egypt, Libya, Damascus, Iran, among many others. Did people actually think it wasn't going to happen here? This is just the beginning.
Wall Street. The Banks and the Government seem to not even care about any of this. Even though thousands are out in numbers all over the Country? What's really going on?
I cannot count how many posts I've shared on the events the led up to this. Some may say "Your Crazy, The Government isn't hiding anything, It's not the banks. and so on. Or what about the Tea Party? They are crazy to right? Wake up People. It's about America and it values and Morals. Being a Free Nation Matters to these people. A Nation under control and dictatorship will only make it even worse.

We were born Free.

I will do my best to try to keep up with the events going on here. Sorry for not posting lately. It gets a bit frustrating when it seems Nobody wants to know the truth anymore.

Today was a big day for Occupy Wall St. More people then ever before showed up for the march that may very well leave a foot print in history. More than 30,000 people from Foley Square to Zuccotti Park. The numbers of people has increased from 500 during the day to now 30,000 in just a matter of one week. The atmosphere was more exhilarating than anyone has experienced. Multiple people said they could feel the energy and it made them feel as if they were in a euphoric state of mind.
The march to Foley Square consisted of about 2,000 people. The goal was to march to the park and meet up with everyone from the unions. A total of 30 unions supported us today. Not only did we meet everyone from the unions but the city of New York itself. Speeches from all the union representatives helped get the crowd excited and build the energy. Back at headquarters the crew is scrambling to make sure everything stays in order and the cameras are rolling. Access to the city cameras was obtained and used to monitor the march. Once Foley Square was finished the NYPD blocked off traffic for the enormous crowd that walked down Broadway. Once everyone was at Zuccotti Park we all sang and danced to the beat of drums and bellowing voices.

A new angle on Occupy Wall Street reveals the strong micro community that has formed there.

Journalist Luke Rudkowski was attacked by police Wednesday night while trying to document the Occupy Wall Street arrests in NY. NYPD used pepper spray, batons, and brute force to move protesters away from the entrance to Wall Street after many tried to push through police barricades. Rumors immediately circulated that police provocateurs dressed as protesters were to blame for the incident.

Lucifer Satan Statue behind MSNBC and Education Nation?

Image via WikipediaI will be posting a lot more on this, but I am very surprised that nobody seems to be talking about this statue behind MSNBC's Education Nation. It's constantly being showed World Wide on the News the past week or so. Yet, It's a statue and yet a Golden Statue of Lucifer.

I have a lot of information on this, and I'm a bit surprised that not many people even know about it.
I will post a few links here and will post a bit more on this very soon. I find it very odd that this is now our education of America. Not only that this should be making many mad. Yet I still hear nothing about it?

We see the same traits in those who are the chief disciples of the devil this day. They too are corrupted by the abundance of their trading. They seek to enrich themselves, and they esteem themselves worthy of a much higher position than that of other men. The Rockefellers are Luciferians, championing this fallen angelic being as a bringer of wisdom and knowledge to mankind. Their esteem of Lucifer is revealed in the artwork found at Rockefeller Center.

Prometheus Bringing Sacred Fire to Man

The statue of Prometheus bringing fire down from heaven and giving it to mankind, is one of the most evident pieces of art found on the Rockefeller Center complex. It is a re-telling of the story of Lucifer who offered to mankind the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. An Internet website shares the following commentary on this statue found on the Rockefeller property.

This statue depicts Prometheus, a Titan of Greek mythology known for his great intelligence. He has however betrayed the god Zeus by stealing fire and giving it to mankind. He is credited to have taught mankind the arts of civilization such as writing, mathematics, agriculture, medicine, and science. Zeus then punished Prometheus for his crime by having him bound to a rock while a great eagle ate his liver every day only to have it grow back to be eaten again the next day.

Paul Manship’s sculpture featured in the Sunken Plaza of the Rockefeller Center portrays Prometheus holding the fire stolen from Zeus and gliding towards humanity. He lies inside a ring in which are outlined the signs of the Zodiac. Behind the statue is an inscription saying:

“Prometheus, teacher in every art, brought the fire that hath proved to mortals a means to mighty ends.”

Substitute the name Prometheus for Lucifer, and you will perceive the true substance of this monument. Lucifer was judged by God, not for a benevolent act on behalf of mankind. Lucifer’s fall actually occurred prior to Adam and Eve’s residency in Eden. It is described by the prophet Isaiah

"How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, you who have weakened the nations! Rockefeller Center

This complex of 19 commercial buildings is situated between Fifth and Seventh avenues in New York City and is famous for its Art Deco style. It is one of the last building projects in the United States to have incorporated a program of public art. The submissions chosen all fit a particular philosophy and some artists have been asked to change their work so it fits the theme of the Rockefeller center which is: Luciferianism.

Luciferianism

The Devil—Lucifer—is a force for good (where I define ‘good’ simply as that which I value, not wanting to imply any universal validity or necessity to the orientation). ‘Lucifer’ means ‘light-bringer’ and this should begin to clue us in to his symbolic importance. The story is that God threw Lucifer out of Heaven because Lucifer had started to question God and was spreading dissension among the angels. We must remember that this story is told from the point of view of the Godists (if I may coin a term) and not from that of the Luciferians (I will use this term to distinguish us from the official Satanists with whom I have fundamental differences). The truth may just as easily be that Lucifer resigned from heaven.

Modern Luciferianism takes its roots from Gnostic teachings as well as ancient Egyptian and Babylonian paganism. God of the material world is seen as a stubborn and sadistic figure who seeks to keep mankind into perpetual darkness while Lucifer is the savior of humanity by giving it the gift of knowledge.
