Iranian Video Says Mahdi is 'Near' Rise of Babylon and Persia

Greater Middle EastImage via Wikipediahttp://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2011/March/Iranian-Regime-Video-Says-Mahdi-is-Near-

Iranian Video Says Mahdi is 'Near'

New evidence has emerged that the Iranian government sees the current unrest in the Middle East as a signal that the Mahdi--or Islamic messiah--is about to appear.

CBN News has obtained a never-before-seen video produced by the Iranian regime that says all the signs are moving into place -- and that Iran will soon help usher in the end times.
While the revolutionary movements gripping the Middle East have created uncertainty throughout the region, the video shows that the Iranian regime believes the chaos is divine proof that their ultimate victory is at hand.
'The Coming is Near'
The propaganda footage has reportedly been approved at the highest levels of the Iranian government.
It's called The Coming is Near and it describes current events in the Middle East as a prelude to the arrival of the mythical tweflth Imam or Mahdi -- the messiah figure who Islamic scriptures say will lead the armies of Islam to victory over all non-Muslims in the last days.

"This video has been produced by a group called the Conductors of the Coming, in connection with the Basiji -- the Iranian paramilitary force, and in collaboration with the Iranian president's office," said Reza Kahlil, a former member of Iran's Revolutionary Guards who shared the video with CBN News.
Kahlili, author of the book, A Time to Betray, worked as a double agent for the CIA inside the Iranian regime.
"Just a few weeks ago, Ahmadenijad's office screened this movie with much excitement for the clerics," Kahlili told CBN News. "The target audience is Muslims in the Middle East and around the world."

Libya Fighting Group joins al Qaeda UN, Obama Fighting Alongside Al-Qaeda in Libya

The leader de facto of Libya, Muammar al-Gaddafi.Image via Wikipediahttp://www.longwarjournal.org/archives/2007/11/libyan_islamic_fight.php#ixzz1I6fFYlp6
As Sahab banner announcin the Zawahiri and al Libi tape welcoming the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group into al Qaeda.
Al Qaeda continues to consolidate its organization in Northern Africa. The Libyan Islamic Fighting Group was officially welcomed into the al Qaeda fold by al Qaeda's second in command Ayman al Zawahri and al Qaeda in Afghanistan commander Abu Laith al Libi in a statement released on the Internet.
"Today, with grace from God, the Muslim nation witnesses a blessed step," Zawahiri stated. "Honorable members of the Fighting Islamic Group in Libya announce that they are joining the al Qaeda group to continue the march of their brothers...
Zawahiri called for the overthrow of the governments of Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco, and named the leaders of these governments in his speech. "O nation of jihad, support your sons so that we defeat our enemies and rid our homeland of their slaves." Zawahri also criticized Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi for surrendering its nuclear and chemical "weapons and equipment to ... crusader masters," Reuters reported.
LIFG-banner.gifAl Qaeda in Afghanistan's leader, Abu Laith al Libi, who is Libyan, also spoke on the recording. "We announce we are joining al Qaeda as loyal soldiers," al Libi said. "The tyrant of Libya is pushing the country into a new quagmire ... He suddenly discovered ... that America the guardian of the cross is not an enemy."
He also urged Libyans to join the fight against Qaddafi, the United States "and their brothers the infidel of the West."
UN, Obama Fighting Alongside Al-Qaeda in Libya
During his March 23 show blasting U.S. intervention in Libya, Fox News personality Glenn Beck also claimed that the American military could very well be helping al-Qaeda there. Citing an article in Time magazine, Beck said the Obama administration actually knows the terror group is in the fight and that the terrorists will try to exploit the power vacuum after the Libyan dictator falls.

“This is exactly what we said would happen,” Beck explained. “Time mentioned that we may actually be helping the terrorists with this air campaign.... This scenario just doesn't seem to make sense to me.”

Of course, it’s extremely hard to know what is actually going on in Libya at the moment, or what the true purpose of U.S. and international military intervention really is. Analysts have all sorts of different views.

There are those who believe President Obama and the UN when they claim “humanitarianism” is truly the goal. Others — ranging from liberty-minded U.S. Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) to socialist despot Hugo Chavez of Venezuela — think it could be about oil. Glenn Beck and others have claimed it could be about setting the stage for a future international invasion of Israel to enforce UN resolutions.

And there are plenty of reasons for the confusion. For example, al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden, wanted by the FBI in connection with two American embassy bombings, have not always been the enemies of the U.S. government. In fact, the U.S. government — by its own admission — actually armed, trained, and funded bin Laden and his Muslim warriors in Afghanistan just a few decades ago. Many of those fighters eventually went back to Libya, where they are battling Gadhafi today.

“Al Qaeda is not a centralized organization, but rather a gaggle or congeries of fanatics, dupes, psychotics, misfits, double agents, provocateurs, mercenaries, and other elements,” noted investigative reporter Webster Tarpley in a piece entitled “The CIA's Libya Rebels: The Same Terrorists who Killed US, NATO Troops in Iraq.”

No Threat From Japanese Radiation Spread Across U.S.

I have noticed that I see so many different views on this subject. Yet, It's still up in the air and nobody actually knows for sure what the harm is that can be done. I do know this much though. Chernobyl was an actual melt down and did destroy a lot with Radiation. I do like what they have to say about it here.
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/03/28/threat-japanese-radiation-spread

Traces of radioactive material from the endangered Japanese nuclear plant are being detected from coast to coast in the United States and in Iceland, but amounts continue to be far below levels that would cause health problems.
The development of super-sensitive equipment to detect radiation is both a blessing and a curse, allowing scientists to monitor materials released in nuclear accidents, but also causing unnecessary worry, said Kathryn Higley, director of the nuclear engineering and radiation health physics at Oregon State University.
Traces of radioactive cesium and iodine are being reported from Nevada to Vermont, South Carolina to Massachusetts, thanks to equipment that Higley says can detect material "many orders of magnitude below what would be hazardous."
The traces of radiation outside of Japan are "absolutely of no concern," added Ahmed Hassanein, head of nuclear engineering at the Purdue School of Nuclear Engineering.
Curiously, one spot where extremely small amounts of the radioactive isotopes were detected was Las Vegas' Atomic Testing Museum, about 65 miles from the desert site where the United States tested atomic bombs in the 1950s.
Ted Hartwell, manager of environmental monitoring at the Desert Research Institute, said he's certain the isotopes came from Japan because they're not usually detected in Nevada. But he said the readings were far below levels that could pose any health risks.
Gerhard Wotawa of Austria's Central Institute for Meteorology and Geodynamics, said the amounts of radiation detected so far were a fraction of what people are normally exposed to, adding that doctors, pilots and others are often confronted with much higher concentrations.
He also said that several types of material flung into the air at the Chernobyl plant 25 years ago are not turning up in the aftermath of the Fukushima accident because there has been no explosion to propel these heavier elements in the atmosphere.

The Power of Bloggers

Image representing MyBlogLog as depicted in Cr...Image via CrunchBaseFor so many of us out there just like this page blogs are one of the best way to help inform people and to keep up with the news around the World. This is just one of the ways so many companies through Net Neutrally and controlling the net that many plan on shutting down yet even more of our freedoms. This was news to me. I didn't realize that Yahoo was part of it. So I figured I would send this out in case some of you didn't know either.

Rightthing
BLOGGERSUNITE
"United We Stand, Divided We Fall" - Aesop
You don't need me to tell you that the world has its share of major catastrophes and disasters.
The people of Japan are in desparate need of our help & bloggers and other social media partiipants continue to raise millions of dollars for those in need.
I am grateful to say that BloggersUnite.org thanks to bloggers has been active in raising funds and awareness for those in need.
However I am writing to you because there is a story that while it clearly does not rise to the same level of human tragedy, I believe strongly will make a major difference to the future of blogging.
Yahoo! recently announced the shut down of MyBlogLog. While this news has been largely ignored by mainstream media, the event is disturbing because it shuts down a channel of the blogosphere.
For years now MyBlogLog has been ignored by Yahoo and now they are shutting it down because it doesn't fit within their corporate strategy.
What does MyBlogLog's closure mean to you?
  • You may think it doesn't mean anything or whether they still exist however the truth is MyBlogLog is a valuable site that distributes 10s of millions of visitors to blogs each year.
  • Yahoo! has shown no respect to bloggers throughought its 4 year ownership of the site. Once again they are failing to follow through on promises and responsibilities to bloggers. Perhaps Yahoo believes it has no responsibility to bloggers.
  • The closure of MyBlogLog represents a lack of respect to bloggers who have built tens of thousands of communities on the network and spent countless hours adding MyBlogLog widgets to their blogs
  • Yahoo! has made no attempt to dispose of MyBlogLog, yet it represents an important channel of distribution for blogs.
Why you should care?
BloggersUnite.org and BlogCatalog are ready, willing and able to take over MyBlogLog and turn MyBlogLog into a valuable tool for bloggers and blog readers. We shared plans with Yahoo over a year ago to do this. Yahoo ignored our requests to talk to them because they insisted we show them our plans.
So, what difference will it make if I join this event?
The more members we have on BloggersUnite.org the greater the positive impact we can make to the world. A combination of BloggersUnite + MyBlogLog + BlogCatalog is "The Right Thing."
To-date, together with your help we have saved lives, made material differences in the lives of school kids, raised money for Haiti, helped build clean water wells in Africa, worked with the CDC to raise awareness about STDs, united refugees with their families, worked with Aids.gov to harness the power of the blogosphere on AIDS Awareness Day and we had hundreds of thousand of bloggers unite on Bloggers for Good Day; where bloggers from BloggersUnite were featured on CNN doing good deeds.
It makes little sense when people in this world are starving that Yahoo would shut down an asset. Why not sell it and give the money to a charity? Their site has value. As Warren Buffet says, "stupid in small things, stupid in big." So please unite with thousands of bloggers and explain to to Yahoo what is the right thing to do.
I humbly ask that you please join us and other bloggers and write a post or add an Action Badge to your blog.
To do this please click BloggersUnite because unlike Yahoo we are fully aware that when you combine your voice with the voice of other bloggers that there is no greater force for good in the world today.
Best,
Antony Berkman

Biometrics for Identification
There are advantages and disadvantages of biometric security measures from both a technical and a social perspective.
As of last week, any person arrested and fingerprinted in California will now undergo an automatic immigration check. Biometric security measures are in widespread use, yet many issues are still debated - including privacy concerns. In this article, we are going to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of biometric security measures from both a technical and a social perspective.
California became the ninth state in which each county has activated Secure Communities, a fingerprint data-sharing program between local law enforcement offices and federal immigration enforcement agencies. Other states with complete activation include Texas, West Virginia, Florida, Arizona, Delaware, Virginia, Wisconsin and New Mexico.
Brighthub.com reports that biometric systems are used for identification and authentication, measuring and comparing people’s biological and behavioral properties such as fingerprints and voice, for example. Thus, taking into consideration the definition (*) of biometrics as characteristics, all biometric processes inherently rely on biometric security measures.
Biometric security measures can also be conceived as devices and systems which are designed to make something more secure, for instance a passport, by including a microchip containing data such as the passport owner’s facial, iris and fingerprint biometrics.
Secure Communities
The California Department of Emergency Services defines Secure Communities as a program between U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Department of Justice that automatically sends name and fingerprint information submitted through a federal file-sharing system, where it’s checked against both the FBI criminal history records and biometrics-based immigration records in the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Automated Biometric Identification System.
Secure Communities is one more stopgap to learn whether people are being honest about their immigration status,” a sheriff commander in Orange County stated. “Without this, we wouldn’t know that DHS would want to have contact with them; it’s automatic.”

FBI dedicates $1 billion to massive biometrics identification program | The Raw Story

Diagram of the "Human Identification at a...Image via WikipediaGet ready folks. Seems that WE THE PEOPLE no longer have a say in any of this.Criminal background or not. This is invasion of ALL Privacy and should not be in the hands of any Government. Yet here it comes.
Imagine doing no harm or having a bad background. Then a computer glicth hits the system. (Which happens everyday) And your name pops up as a wanted fellon. You go to prision, Why? Because the computer says so. That's what this system is. And again very easliy hacked. Because it is digital. All digital computers are easily hacked.
This is what we call no more Freedom.
http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/03/24/fbi-dedicates-1-billion-to-massive-biometrics-identification-program

The Federal Bureau of Investigations announced recently that it is dedicating up to $1 billion for a Lockheed Martin-developed system that will enable on-the-fly analysis of detailed identification information that can be instantaneously shared with law enforcement all around the world.
It's called the "Next Generation Identification System" (NGIS), and if you're a fan of television dramas like the CBS crime drama NCIS, it may sound pretty familiar.
The FBI says their forthcoming system is an "incremental" upgrade to their currently-existing "Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System" (IAFIS), but it's more than just an upgrade: it's a revolution in law enforcement technology that's bound to draw comparisons to the "Total Information Awareness" (TIA) project Congress ostensibly shut down in 2004.
The TIA project, however, was broader in scope, targeting private individuals all over the world instead of just suspected criminals or terrorists.
While the initial stage of NGIS deals solely with fingerprints, the FBI said it will eventually upscale to include detailed biometrics like retina prints, facial mapping, palm prints, voice mapping and handwriting analysis, among other likely sources of data.
"[NGIS] represents a quantum leap in fingerprint identification that will help us in solving investigations, preventing crime, and apprehending criminals and terrorists," an agency spokesman announced earlier this month.
One aspect of the program that's likely to draw a sharp reacting from civil liberties advocates is the provision of electronic fingerprint scanners to state and local police agencies.
The FBI says these scanners will be used to collect biometric data from "suspects," as opposed to those convicted of crimes. That data would then be sent wirelessly to the NGIS, where it can be accessed by law enforcement anywhere.
A sub-database, called the "Repository for Individuals of Special Concern," will also be created to track wanted criminals, registered sex offenders and "suspected terrorists."
That's another facet of the project which may give civil liberties advocates even more cause for alarm, considering the Obama administration's recent revisions to how Americans suspected of terrorism should be treated by law enforcement.

All children to be registered in national biometric database

The front of a Spanish national identity cardImage via WikipediaAs many times as I have sent out so much information on this subject. The New RFID Chip system for National ID and Imigration Reform is now going into effect. The Biometric ID system here if you notice, is targeting the children first. Then after that the adult along with ALL foreigners.
What do this have to do with anything? This system is also designed to go into effect right here In the U.S.A. as a National ID. This requires all your information. Including Eye Scan. Face features, in some cases your DNA samples among so much more. Like your Bank Account information. Sound good?
What most people don't realize is that you can buy and RFID Scanner from ebay for about 8 bucks. This allows anyone to be able to get all your information much easier than every before.
Get ready folks. We are in for a bumpy ride on this. I find it Amazing how so many people are so willing to loose what little bit of freedom they have and trade it in so easily with this Central tracking system.

Tijuana debut for Mexican I.D. card program

Kathy Fernandez Davalos (holding a giant version of the I.D. card) and her second-grade classmates at Miguel Hidalgo Elementary in Tijuana marked the launch of Mexico's new identification document program for minors Monday.
Tijuana was the setting Monday for the launch of an identity card program aimed at minors across Mexico, a move that authorities said would reduce paperwork as well as protect against child trafficking, prostitution and other forms of abuse.
As hundreds of uniformed students from Miguel Hidalgo Elementary School watched, sixth-grader Leslie Carolina García became the first person in Mexico to register for the card.
Mexico’s interior minister, José Francisco Blake Mora, called it a “historic day” for Mexico. “This is not an option for authorities or for the government,” he said. “It is a constitutional obligation to offer this identification card.”
The card is aimed at minors from ages 4 to 17, and by the end of 2012, Mexico’s federal government is hoping that as many as 25.7 million children will be signed up.
With the document, they won’t need to present a birth certificate when registering for school, medical appointments or to receive other public services, Blake said. Authorities said the cards also will certify a child’s identity, critical in cases of children who are missing or forced into prostitution.

Below the radar of public opinion, Mexico has started to assemble the type of biometric national identity database that could be used to document names for a North American Trusted Traveler border pass card, a plan already being developed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for Mexican citizens.
It apparently would be similar to the program that has become commonplace in the European Union to allow free transit for EU citizens to move, live and work wherever they choose within the EU, disregarding nation-of-origin and national border restrictions.
On Jan. 19, 2011, Mexico's President Felipe Calderon signed an executive order requiring within the next five years all Mexicans 17 years old and younger have a biometric national identity card that would include a facial photograph, all 10 fingerprints, and an iris scan.
Discover the shocking truth about why the U.S. government doesn't really want to protect our Mexican and Canadian borders, in Jerome Corsi's "The Late Great USA."
To carry out the presidential executive order, the Mexican Directorate General of the National Population Register plans to go to all elementary schools in Mexico schools in Mexico to record the required biometric information and issue individual identity cards.
The Mexican National Institute of Geography and Statistics estimates that in 2005, there were 10.5 million Mexicans between 5 and 9 years old, 11 million between 10 and 14 years old, and 10 million between 15 and 19 years old.

Reasonable estimates are that by the end of 2012, Mexico plans to issue more than 25.7 million biometric identity cards to the nation's children 18 years old and younger.
While promoted as a way to prevent crimes such as identity theft, Mexico has decided to begin with the nation's school children to create the type of biometric national identity database that will allow Mexican children as they grow up to already possess the biometric information they will need to obtain North American Trusted Traveler border pass cards the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is preparing to issue to Mexican citizens.
Once the nation's children are recorded in this biometric national identity database, the plan is to add a second phase that will extend the biometric identification cards to Mexican adults, with a third phase designed to establish a national registry for all foreigners residing in Mexico.
The website of the Mexican Directorate General of the National Population Register, or RENAPO, Registro Nacional de Población e Identificatión Personal, displays a photo of a family holding an enlarged version of the new Personal Identity Card issued to the daughter:
Also available on the website of the Mexican Directorate General of the National Population Register is a second photo that shows two smiling children holding an enlarged version of the Personal Identity Card created for the girl in the photo:

Revelation 13
9If any man have an ear, let him hear.
10He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
11And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
12And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

STORY HIGHLIGHTS
  • Colorado and Oregon report trace levels of radioactive particles
  • Washington, California and Hawaii have also found small amounts
  • The levels detected so far aren't harmful to human health, experts say
(CNN) -- Colorado and Oregon have joined several other Western states in reporting trace amounts of radioactive particles that have likely drifted about 5,000 miles from a quake and tsunami-damaged nuclear power plant in Japan, officials say.
But, on a portion of its website dedicated to tracking such radiation, the Environmental Protection Agency noted Wednesday that these and other readings "show typical fluctuation in background radiation levels" and -- thus far -- "are far below levels of concern."
Sampling from a monitor in Colorado -- part of a national network of stations on the lookout for radioactivity -- detected miniscule amounts of iodine-131, a radioactive form of iodine, the state's public health and environmental department said Wednesday in a press release.
On the same day in Portland, Oregon, tiny quantities of iodine-131 were also detected by an Environmental Protection Agency air monitor, Oregon public health officials said.

Small amounts of radioactive material were detected Wednesday, too, in Hawaii -- just as they had a day earlier, according to the EPA. But while they were above the historical and background norm, the levels weren't considered harmful to human health.
Washington and California previously reported low levels of radioactive isotopes that likely came from Japan's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, which has been releasing radioactive particles into the air since its cooling and other systems were damaged by a 9.0-magnitude earthquake and massive tsunami on March 11. Efforts continued Thursday to cool down the spent nuclear fuel rods, prevent a further meltdown of the plant's six reactor cores and curb the release of additional radioactive material.

Breach suspected at troubled Japanese power plant

Radiation hotspots of Cesium-137 in 1996 resul...Image via Wikipediahttp://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/as_japan_earthquake
TOKYO – Two weeks after an earthquake and tsunami triggered a crisis at a nuclear plant, the facility is still not under control, and the government said Friday there is a suspected breach at a reactor. That means radioactive contamination at the plant is more serious than once thought.
Japanese leaders defended their decision not to evacuate people from a wider area around the plant, insisting they are safe if they stay indoors. But officials also said residents may want to voluntarily move to areas with better facilities, since supplies in the tsunami-devastated region are running short.
The escalation in the nuclear plant crisis came as the death toll from the quake and tsunami passed the grim milestone of 10,000 on Friday. Across the battered northeast coast, hundreds of thousands of people whose homes were destroyed still have no power, no hot meals and, in many cases, no showers for 14 days.
The uncertain nuclear situation halted work at the Fukushima Dai-ichi complex, where authorities have been scrambling to stop the overheated facility from leaking dangerous radiation. Low levels of radiation have been seeping out since the March 11 quake and tsunami knocked out the plant's cooling system, but a breach could mean a much larger release of contaminants. The most likely consequence would be contamination of the groundwater.
