Liberals do not want to face the reality that criminals do not acquire their firearms by going down to the local gun store, getting a background check, and paying tax for their purchase… they get them on the black market. Because they are criminals banning guns only punishes people who obey the law.

Governments have no Rights, only Authorities, it is the people who have Rights who then give their permission to be ruled. The Authority a government has may be taken away at any time by the people whereas the government may not take away any Rights from its citizens.
The recent Supreme Court decision regarding firearms is most troubling. In the Bill Of Rights, Amendment II it states:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The purpose of the Second Amendment is clear… the people must be able to keep themselves free from their Government (or invading powers) and, should armed insurrection be necessary, we are able to use firearms to accomplish this goal.
Democrats seem rather unconcerned that the Right to Bear Arms is a fundamental right alongside freedom of speech and the press, religious freedom, unreasonable searches and seizures, as well as the right to a trial by jury.

This falling crime rate is happening when the economy is also worsening… in fact nationwide gun sales are up and crime is down. Could it be that if a criminal thinks their next victim might be armed they think twice before committing a crime???
The Supreme Court narrowly re-affirmed what all true Americans already knew… that firearm ownership is a fundamental right guaranteed by our Bill of Rights.

If you don't like the Constitution AS IS. Then all you need to do is leave.
